00:00Actress Ayesha Reza doesn't shy away from acknowledging that single parenting often
00:07comes with judgment. Speaking about the biasness that single father continues to face, she points
00:13out that the society still struggles to accept men as the primary caregiver. During an exclusive
00:20interview, when asked about the social stigma surrounding single fathers, she stated that social
00:26stigmas exist everywhere. I think social stigmas are on every side. Some of the women can't do this.
00:35And similarly, if the child can't get a child because you need a woman's touch or you need a
00:40woman to do it, but actually that's not true. Given a chance, a woman can do many things and given a
00:44chance, men can do so many things. So I think there are social stigmas, but I think we've not
00:50tackled all of, you know, it's not been held down in this show like that. It's been more the process
00:55of a family dealing with a very unique situation and the kind of the chaos that ensues, but also the
01:03emotional aspects of a family grappling with the situation, but then how as a family you have to
01:09basically get over it and come together as well. So I think that's been really interesting.
01:14The show Single Papa also stars Manoj Bahwa, Kunal Khemu and Prajipta Kohli. It will premiere on
01:21December 12 on OTT platforms. On the world front, Ayesha Raza Mishra made a Bollywood debut with Doom
01:27in 2004 and then went on to appear in several hit films including Mumbai Meri Jaan, Dil Dharak Ne Do,
01:34Madari, Sonu Ke T2 Ki Sweetie, Student of the Air 2 and many more. Recently, she appeared in the web series
01:42working today for a long haul.
01:52And finally, and that's the time's topic.
01:56But it was the time of life and the way that I have been playing in the web series,
02:04it was the time I am going to give you and see you all.
