00:00Trying to silence me, in proposing to court-martial me, in threatening to kill me, for fighting back when our democracy demands that we must fight back.
00:13President Trump has crossed the line.
00:16And this time, it's not going to work.
00:20I will not be intimidated by this president.
00:23I am not going to be silenced by this president or the people around him.
00:30Because I've given too much in service to this country to back down to this guy.
00:36This isn't about me.
00:40And it's not about the others in that video.
00:44They're trying to send a message to retired service members, to government employees, to members of the military, to elected officials,
00:56and to all Americans who are thinking about speaking up, you better keep your mouth shut or else.
01:08The threats on us have obviously gone up.
01:10I'm not going to get into details about my personal security.
01:13We take these threats very seriously.
01:16And I take, you know, the threats from this president seriously.
01:20How many times in our country's history have you heard a president of the United States say that members of the Senate and the House should be hanged and executed?
01:34I mean, I can't think of one.
01:38There needs to be an investigation.
01:40We need to pull some of these members of DOD and the military into the armed services committees in the House and the Senate.
01:50You know, that's what the White House is saying.
01:53I hope what has been reported is not accurate.
01:57I have such, I revere members of the United States Navy, especially special operators, Navy SEALs.
02:05These are the most highly trained, you know, individuals in our military.
02:10I have deep, deep respect for them.
02:11So I hope what we are hearing is not accurate.
02:17I will say, though, you know, as somebody who has sunk two ships myself, that folks in the military need to understand, you know, the law of the sea, the Geneva Conventions, what the law says.
02:33And I'm concerned that if there were, in fact, as reported, you know, survivors clinging to a damaged vessel, that that could be, you know, over a line.
