00:00Well, speaking of Buffalo, though, I got to have a spot against Pittsburgh.
00:03They get it 26-7.
00:06What did you make of Buffalo's, by the way, who were down at the break 7-3,
00:12ended up a pretty dominant win over the Steelers?
00:16You know, what I took away from it was that I was on the under on this game.
00:19I wasn't expecting a whole ton of points.
00:22The rushing performance by Buffalo was fantastic.
00:25I expected them to lean into the rushing game.
00:27I didn't expect it to be this extreme and, like, this productive
00:30because, you know, missing offensive linemen is a huge deal.
00:34So I didn't think they were going to be planning on dropping Josh Allen back 30, 35 times
00:39when T.J. Watt is on the other side.
00:41They would lean into the rushing game to try and take that pressure away from coming off a game
00:45where it took eight sacks against Houston on Thursday night last week or the week before,
00:50whatever you want to call it.
00:51So I'm very impressed with their run game,
00:53and it's good to see that they have that balance overall.
00:56I'm, you know, interested to see how we see the receiver core develop
01:00when it's all said and done, knowing that they have Cooks down.
01:04But I just see that as another piece of the puzzle rather than a true playmaker
01:08and a difference maker.
01:10I think for Buffalo, you needed a win.
01:14But I don't leave this game feeling different than I did entering,
01:19which is I don't trust this team to go on a deep run.
01:22I really don't.
01:23I look at Buffalo, and I think defensively they are still super vulnerable,
01:27and I think Josh Allen has brought the turnovers back,
01:31and I think that that is as likely to cost them as anything.
01:34You know, people, I'm not trying to get into crazy debates,
01:37but I'm not a believer that Josh Allen is going to inevitably win a Super Bowl,
01:42like many people are.
01:42There's a lot of people who are steadfast in that the talent will eventually rise,
01:47and Josh will get one.
01:48That's not who I am.
01:49That's not what I believe.
01:50I believe the opposite of that.
01:52But could maybe, you know, you are looking at an AFC playoffs
01:56that are supposed to set up perfectly for him.
01:59I leave this game.
02:01I say, okay, listen, you know, again, great job power on the rock.
02:04James Cook had a 17-and-a-half attempts prop.
02:07He gets 32 carries, right?
02:08I mean, that's smart football at the end of the day.
02:11You're down a couple of tackles,
02:13but this is just not going to move the needle for me that much on Buffalo.
02:20The reality is so much of this has to do with, you know,
02:23who in the AFC is really overwhelming anyone.
02:28Let me mix this in because we're going to pair –
02:29I want to kind of pair Pittsburgh, Baltimore, Cincinnati all together, Tom.
02:33You're not overwhelmed by anything you saw out of Denver
02:36on Sunday night against Washington, I know.
02:38I'm not.
02:39And to the point with the Bills, I would say that they've got to win
02:42because it's more about Pittsburgh just being a dead team essentially at this point.
02:46And when it comes to the remainder teams in the AFC,
02:48we'll obviously get to the Pats, but Denver does not impress me.
02:52The Ravens are coming off of a game that I didn't know how they could possibly lose that game,
02:57and they somehow managed to do that.
02:59The Colts shouldn't be at that price.
03:01You know, I know you're not super sold on the Chargers,
03:03but you'd have to say the Chargers are far more interesting than the Colts at this point.
03:07There's no one in the AFC that is a standout option that I'm running to the window to bet.
03:12There's a jumbled mess of teams.
03:14Everyone has holes, which makes things exciting because we're not dealing with,
03:18you know, some team at the top of the mountain as we have with Kansas City in the past few years.
03:22So I think this year is very, very exciting,
03:23but I can poke holes in every single team on that list.
