Jamie Lynn Spears explained why she has remained silent following Britney Spears’ testimony in which she requested to end her conservatorship.

00:00I've made a very conscious choice in my life to only participate in her life as her sister, as an ant to those boys.

00:10As her sister Britney Spears dropped bombshell information in court on June 23rd, saying she wants out of her court-appointed conservatorship,

00:17Jamie Lynn Spears in tears is speaking out.

00:20Britney said she felt her family has done nothing.

00:23Jamie Lynn went to IG with her thoughts.

00:25Not that I owe the public anything, because my sister knows I love and support her.

00:31That's the only person I owe anything to.

00:34I'm not my family. I'm my own person. I'm speaking for myself.

00:38And even though fans have questioned her intentions and business ties to people involved in the conservatorship, like Lou Taylor,

00:44she said she wanted Brit to speak first.

00:46The only reason I haven't before is because I felt like until my sister was able to speak for herself

00:51and say what she felt she needed to say publicly, that it wasn't my place and it wasn't the right thing to do.

00:56She added she supports whatever Britney wants to do.

00:59I don't care if she wants to run away to a rainforest and have a zillion babies in the middle of nowhere,

01:03or if she wants to come back and dominate the world the way she has so many times before.

01:06Because I have nothing to gain or lose, either way.

01:10Well, we all want what's best for Britney.
