Christina Aguilera and Demi Lovato debuted their empowering duet “Fall in Line” in front of a live audience for the first time, on Sunday night at the Billboard Music Awards.

00:14in front of a live audience for the first time on Sunday night at the Billboard Music Awards.
00:19Christina started off her soulful vocal while wearing an all-black trench coat
00:23flanked by soldiers marching past her, also in all black.
00:27Demi soon appeared behind Christina for a solo showcase on the very same spot,
00:32wearing a matching outfit, before the two got together to start the vocal fireworks.
00:38And I'm gonna try to be mine!
00:44Fall in Line is the third single off Christina's eighth studio album, Liberation, due out June 15th.
00:50It's the first time Christina has collaborated with a female singer on a single since 2001's Lady Marmalade.
00:57The crowd was visibly impressed with the powerful performance Sunday night,
01:00which ended with Christina and Demi embracing.
