00:05Rhea Ripley believes in AJ Lee.

00:08This Saturday, Rhea Ripley will go to battle alongside AJ Lee and three other women inside war games at WWE Survivor Series.

00:16According to Ripley, the decision to recruit Lee to her team came fairly easy,

00:20especially given her existing admiration for the former Divas champion, as well as Lee's fiery spirit in the ring.

00:26Her admiration and Lee's fire made the decision straightforward.

00:30While appearing on Raw Recap, Ripley further explained her pursuit of AJ Lee for the 2025 Women's War Games match.

00:38She discussed the choice on Raw Recap.

00:41Growing up, I watched AJ Lee, Ripley said.

00:44I loved watching AJ Lee. She was one of my favorites, for sure.

00:49I thought she was amazing at what she did, especially for the size that she is.

00:53She's scrappy, she doesn't give up, and I like that fire inside of her that I know she has.

00:58Seeing her come back and tag with her husband CM Punk against Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch, I could see that fire was still there.

01:06I knew that we needed a fifth member. I know that I needed someone that can hang in this kind of match.

01:11Everything that I've seen her accomplish throughout her run in the WWE before when I was growing up, she accomplished so much, Ripley continued.

01:21She really wasn't set up to accomplish that much, but she fought, she scratched, she clawed, and she was determined.

01:29She got to the point that she got to, and that's what I want to see.

01:32I know that it's there, and that's why I want her on my team.

01:36I want that scrappy. I want that fight.

01:39Want people to second-guess her because of her size, and then realize that she is a lot tougher than what they think she is.

01:45She's unpredictable, and I love that.

01:48For this year's War Games, Ripley and Lee will team with Charlotte Flair, Alexa Bliss, and Io Sky.

01:54Standing across from them will be Becky Lynch, Nia Jax, Lash Legend, Kairi Sane, and Asuka.
