Transcript
00:00Well, thank you so much for joining us on the Golden Globes carpet.
00:03I'm wondering, how has it been so far?
00:05Have you had any run-ins, and who are you most excited to meet?
00:08I am very excited to meet Olivia Colman.
00:11I hope that happens.
00:12I'm a huge, huge, huge fan.
00:15Yeah, no run-ins yet, so otherwise.
00:17But yesterday, I just did a panel with the other directors in my category,
00:21and that was incredibly surreal because I grew up watching the films
00:25of Pedro Amodovar and Bong Joon-ho,
00:27and so just to be in a category with them is unbelievable.
00:32And if you could visit one film or television set from a piece of content
00:37that has come out this year, what would it be and why?
00:40From this year, I think it would have to be It's a Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood
00:44because I love Marielle Heller.
00:46I think she's an incredible director, and Tom Hanks is so good in the movie,
00:50and I just think that would have been a really fun set to visit.
00:52And if you could give one character from your movie their own movie in a spin-off
00:57who would you want it to be?
00:59Oh, no question.
00:59It would be How How, who is the groom that barely ever talks in the entire movie
01:05and just cries.
01:06He sobs, and he just should have his own storyline.
01:09That's the entire movie.
01:09Exactly.
01:11Yes, exactly.
01:13And my final question for you is it's a vegan meal inside the Globes tonight,
01:18so I'm wondering how is, are you looking forward to a plant-based meal?
01:21Oh, absolutely.
01:22I mean, that's even more, you know, when you're dressed up,
01:25you never want to eat anything real heavy anyway, so that's great, yeah.
