00:31Yeah, it felt insane. I was just like watching the stream, just of course, you know, just to see
00:37what the results were. And because I worked on a lot of like different projects this year. So
00:43just, you know, being hopeful. And that category was like the second one. And my name came up first.
00:49So I just like got on my seat and started jumping around and screaming. And yeah, no, I couldn't believe it.
00:58I had to like check like a few times that that was my name. And then just my phone started, you know,
01:03blowing up my team, my management, like they FaceTime me, my publisher, all my friends, family.
01:08Like it was just insane. Insane. It took me like a while to really process it. I'm still, I feel like
01:16I'm still like processing. It's insane. I'm so, so, so honored and wow, still in shock. She also opened up
01:24about what it means to be only the ninth woman nominated for the award. No, it's so powerful to see
01:31women like continue to move the needle. And I feel like I just, I'm just so honored to be
01:38nominated in this category. And I feel like I can, you know, I hope that I am, you know,
01:46inspiration for other women, you know, to keep going, you know, to always, you know,
01:54study hard, show up prepared and, and, you know, with confidence, do your thing and keep doing your
02:05thing and never stop dreaming because, you know, it can happen to any one of us. And I'm just,
02:13yeah, I'm just so honored. And also all the women that were nominated before me, I mean, such a
02:18inspiration to see, again, those types of women, just paving the way for, you know, people like me,
02:26you know, in this category, in this category. So, yeah, it's very humbling. And, and I feel like it's,
02:32it's even when I, when I saw that nomination, I thought to myself, I was like, it's way bigger than me.
02:40Alicia also spoke about her journey getting to this point in her career.
02:44It wasn't really an overnight thing. Like I've been working really hard for years and
02:48years. And, you know, oftentimes people don't, you know, really talk about the hard work that,
02:53you know, everyone puts in their craft, you know, but like, it's, it's, it's been years and years
02:58and work, you know, so for sure this year was a good year. I definitely worked on a lot of music
03:06with incredible artists and super, super thankful and grateful with everyone I worked with this year.
03:13Um, yeah. So, so I, I was like, maybe there's a chance, you know, that one of the projects get
03:19nominated. I hope, you know, um, you know, and if not, it's all good. I'm really grateful. I do it
03:25for the love of music and, you know, so, but, um, yeah, this just like crazy. For much more from
