CFO highlights role of Filipinos overseas

The Commission on Filipinos Overseas (CFO) on Monday underscored the crucial role of Filipinos abroad and their inclination to help Filipinos locally.

Speaking at the Kapihan ng Samahang Plardidel in Manila, CFO Chairman Dante Francis “Klink” Ang II said Filipinos living and working overseas are not just economic contributors, they are strategic partners in nation-building.

“Successful Filipinos abroad are more inclined to help Filipinos locally,” he said.

Ang explained that migration opportunities help Filipinos earn a higher return on their educational capital.
