00:00This year in Kashmir Frontier, there were 4 infiltration attempts.
00:06After Operation Sindhour, there were 2 attempts and in Operation Sindhour, there were 2 attempts.
00:11There were total 13 people in which the Indian Army was neutralized.
00:18And 5 people were pushed back. They went back.
00:22Sir, you pointed out that there have been 4 threats that were neutralized under your supervision as far as the combined operation between Army and BSF is concerned.
00:34What about the information that was provided individually and specifically by the BSF?
00:41How many such impossible ships on the basis of which the operations were launched?
00:45And has there been any change in the tactics as far as the infiltration is concerned?
00:50Because in recent past, we have seen that a back was there in the recent one.
00:56But then it was pushed back whether there was a neutralization or not.
01:00That only the Army or BSF came before.
01:03But what were the tactics that now has changed after post Sindhour?
01:07Because recently we have seen the kind of module that has been busted like white-collar terrorists or the white-collar doctors.
01:15Is it an emerging challenge for the BSF? Because now an educated youth is coming into the fora and we don't know whether he comes with a dated past or he is clean.
01:25Is BSF working on that also as far as the BSF's role in the hinterland is concerned?
01:31Do we see that the locals joining? Because in the recent past, during this white-collar module, many of the locals have been found missing from the South Kashmir.
01:41How is it going to impact the situation? Because on the one side we see it's a goody-goody situation that the locals are not joining.
01:48But do you see that this is another mechanism that is taking a shape which is much more disastrous and much more challenging than those who were listed, identified and were radar on the social, on the security forces?
02:03I will start with one by one. I will answer your questions. First is relating to any change in the modas in infiltration.
02:15The infiltration modas has not very drastically changed except that some of the routes, new routes, they are adopting.
02:24And we get intelligence inputs about that and we are able to cover them along with coordination with Indian Army.
02:33Our G-setup has very good resources and they are able to provide us quite large number of inputs which result into various operations.
02:48either it is relating to neutralization of the terrorist or recovery of war-like stores from the LC areas.
02:57So, our focus in LC area in close coordination with Army is very focused and every intelligence which is generated, we follow it properly so that any attempt which is being made for infiltration, we are able to neutralize that.
03:14And we have a lot of success stories in that some operations done by Indian Army independently and some are done in coordination with DSM.
03:25In Hinterland, we are generally in support of JKP and we have 13 companies which are deployed in Hinterland.
03:35In Hinterland, in Hinterland as well as LC, all these operations happen in close coordination with all other security agencies.
03:44And they, intelligence agencies and security agencies have been following up all these inputs of locals getting recruited and this has been taken to logical conclusion.
04:00So, how do you see this wide-collar module because now we see the people are joining the terror outages who were never in the list.
04:09Who were never on the list.
04:10They are the wide collars without any negative pass.
04:13The ones who have earned their populace have presented themselves before the forums.
04:18And how is it going to, how are you going to develop a mechanism to identify those people.
04:25Because you play a role as at Hinterland, Adverse and LC.
04:29LC, it was quite clear that who is going to take the operation and who will take the lead.
04:33How the inputs are shaped.
04:34But when it comes to the Hinterland, where now we see that this is more a challenge than what was there earlier, being the listed ones.
04:41Every security agencies and inter-agencies working in Kashmir frontier means Kashmir valley have been focusing on such type of modules.
04:54And the initiatives which we have been taking under civil action program to develop lot of coordination and cooperation making the civil population as partners in national and internal security.
05:08We are sure that such attempts will come to focus to us and we will be able to carry out some operations.
05:15But how big the challenge is now?
05:17The challenge is big definitely.
05:19And we have to identify such elements which are being recruited silently.
05:27And I think all the agencies have to work in coordination to bust such type of modules.
05:33What is the role being played by the BSF as far as the radicalization part is concerned?
05:38Because in this case also the radicalization was one of the elements that was found by the
05:44Inc. Wing has been focusing on identifying institutions or places which are generally being used as radicalization centers.
05:54And we inform all the agencies relating to that because the responsibility of means in hinterland we have only 13 companies which are in coordination with the JKP.
06:11But you know in Kashmir valley everything happens in synergy with all the security agencies.
06:18So whatever information we get we share with the concerned agencies and based on that the modules are busted.
06:26Is there any change in the launching pads?
06:33Yes sir.
06:34We have input following the damage we had caused to launching pads of terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir frontier.
06:45We have intelligence inputs which indicate that some of the launching pads have been moved from the forward areas to different locations so that they are not in the firing range of Indian army or BSF deployed on DALC.
07:04You talked about launching pads.
07:05You said 69 active launching pads right now.
07:06Why were these pads targeted in the operation syndrome number 1?
07:07Did we have the information at that time as well?
07:08And then there are talks about defense minister and other top functionaries.
07:09They are talking about the operation syndrome is at force.
07:24You are the force on the ground.
07:26So is there a possibility of another round of it and what are our precautions?
07:31We are very much fully prepared and operation syndrome continues and whenever there is misadventure
07:40from Pakistan we are very much prepared and ready to give a very defeating reply to them.
07:48What is launch pads?
07:50Launching pads?
07:51Yes.
07:52We had these launching pads under our radar.
07:55There is no doubt in that.
07:56But the locations and the distances from the L.C. varies and sitting on the L.C. it may be difficult to target all the launching pads.
08:09What is Narco terrorism?
08:11Narco terrorism is a very big challenge and there are efforts by the enemy to push more
08:25and more narcotics in Kashmir valley so that youth get addicted to drugs.
08:32Similarly Narco is also used to finance the terror things.
08:37Narco terror is a big challenge and we have a very focused approach to ensure that whatever
08:46smuggling attempts are being done specially from Tangdhar area we are able to identify them
08:52and neutralize them and neutralize them.
08:57Sir, there is a Mosom from PTG, but after post operations in Google, do we still see the
09:05drones carrying weapons or drone activity along the borders?
09:10Drone activities are there which we have been observing but that is restricted to other part
09:17of the L.C.
09:18Generally those are raki or surveillance drones which are not crossing the L.C.
09:23But yes, drones are under our observation.
09:27Drone activities are different and önce obviously the
