Transcript
00:00Hello.
00:05Zach Woods.
00:07Andrew Weitz.
00:08Hi.
00:09Nice to meet you.
00:10You too.
00:15Thanks for being here.
00:16Thanks for having me.
00:17Sundance.
00:18Yeah.
00:19Congratulations.
00:21Downhill.
00:22Looks like a fantastic, fun dramedy.
00:25Yeah, I guess.
00:26The truth is, I have not seen this movie, and I probably never will.
00:30Because I don't like to watch myself, but based on the script and the experiences on set,
00:35I would say dramedy is a fair description.
00:37Sundance, have you ever been before?
00:38I have been.
00:39Yeah.
00:40The first movie I ever did was called In the Loop.
00:42I booked this best Western where the windows didn't open and the heat you couldn't control.
00:47And so it was so dry.
00:50I just remembered my only memory.
00:52This is like probably like a really pivotal moment in my life.
00:55It's the first movie I've ever done.
00:56Yeah.
00:57It is premiering.
00:58I'm in this place.
00:59James Gandolfini and Armando Nucci and all these people.
01:01My memory is like eating dominoes in the driest room by myself.
01:07And that is the glamour of Sundance.
01:09That's the glamour of Sundance, baby.
01:11The best Western.
01:12Right.
01:13Yeah.
01:14Well, this year I feel like your career has gone like this over the last several years.
01:20And I think it's the moment for you to show off some style.
01:24And with that said, what is your style?
01:27What do you think defines?
01:29I've never really articulated my style before.
01:34I think it's gone through phases.
01:36Like when I was a little kid, I loved wearing suits.
01:39Yeah.
01:40And I would wear like tweed jackets and wool ties.
01:43I basically dressed like a little like seven-year-old Sarah Lawrence adjunct professor.
01:48Like I looked like a Woody Allen character, but like with my weird gangly seven-year-old body.
01:53But then the pendulum swung so hard in the other direction in high school all the time.
01:59Indoors, outdoors, I was constantly in a gray winter coat and I had this sort of weird feminine mullet.
02:05I abandoned all sort of aesthetics.
02:08Yeah.
02:09I got to go pull some new clothes because I have the wrong stuff for you.
02:13Whatever you decide to wear, where your personal style is, is impacting your personal life and your business
02:19and how you want people to perceive you.
02:21Right.
02:22So what I like to do now is we've pulled some great pieces and looks and I want to go through it with you.
02:30See what works, what doesn't work, what's going to make you most comfortable.
02:33And we just want to make you look stylish, comfortable and the star that you are.
02:38How cheesy was that?
02:39No, it's very sweet.
02:40The star that you are.
02:41It rhymes.
02:48This is your first look.
02:49I chose this for your screening, the Premier, because it looks super chic and super cozy.
02:57We put you in a Laura Piana cable knit turtleneck sweater paired with green heathered Brunello Cuccinelli cargo pants.
03:07Topped it off with a Montclair puffer jacket, which I love that it's a three quarter length because it fits your body and stature really well.
03:17And lastly, we put on some vegan boots from Moo Shoes.
03:21And I think that makes you feel even more comfortable knowing that you are a vegetarian, you are not wearing any suede, any leather.
03:29Just in case I forget, if I'm about to take a bite of a burger, I'll look down and I'll be like, oh my god.
03:33Yeah.
03:34I'm a vegetarian, I forgot.
03:38Anytime I've done anything fashion related, there's always the anxiety of like, oh god, are they going to make me wear like crazy goggles and like a thing.
03:46But this feels like something that like I would wear if I had better taste.
03:49Thank you for not dressing me like an Alaskan DJ.
03:52No, but I have that look if you want to do that.
04:02This is the second look.
04:03I call it the lounge look because this is super casual, a little rugged.
04:07And I wanted to offset this look from what we did for the premiere, which was more luxury chic.
04:16What we did here was we put you in a chambray shirt from Brunello Cuccinelli.
04:20We put this shacket on, which is insulated, from John Elliott.
04:25Paired you with some framed jeans.
04:27And of course, vegan boots from Mu Shoes.
04:31And just in case you're on the slopes and outside and it's sunny, we gave you some sunglasses from Mr. Light.
04:37And a jacket from a company called Aether.
04:41How do you feel about this?
04:42I feel great.
04:43The whole look.
04:44I love it.
04:45This was something that one of the sad men in Carol would wear, except they were good, well-dressed sad men.
04:50So I'm happy.
04:51Yeah, but you're not sad, are you?
04:52No, I feel great.
04:53It feels like an enhancement without being an abandonment of the way I normally dress.
04:58And that's really nice.
04:59Well, this is why I do what I do in my business.
05:02It's to make the client feel super comfortable and stylish at the same time.
05:08And most importantly, give an education on why it's important and how it's going to affect whatever you're doing.
05:15And you are a piece of talent, an extraordinary talent.
05:18And you want to make sure when you're roaming the streets or you're at the premiere and you're out,
05:21you always want to look at your best.
05:23I'm going to say, hey, piece of talent.
05:24Yeah.
05:25We can write it right here.
05:26Hey, I already have it tattooed on both sides.
05:28Talent.
05:29Yeah.
