00:00The Flash is speeding into theaters earlier than expected.

00:03On Monday, Warner Bros. set a new release date of June 16, 2023 for the film.

00:09It was previously slated for June 23, 2023, and the new date gives it more breathing room

00:14ahead of the release of Disney's Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny,

00:18which is set for release on June 30.

00:21Ezra Miller stars as Barry Allen slash The Flash in the feature,

00:24which also stars Michael Keaton, back as Batman for the first time since 1992.

00:30The film also features Ben Affleck also playing a version of Batman

00:33and will also introduce Sasha Kaye as Supergirl.

00:36Star Miller has been at the center of various controversies this year,

00:40which culminated in them apologizing back in August,

00:43with a statement saying they were seeking help for mental health issues.
