New Round of Talks on Ending Ukraine War

US and Ukrainian officials have held what both sides say were "productive" talks on work to end Russia's war in Ukraine.

00:01That's what U.S. and Ukrainian officials are calling a meeting in Florida aimed at helping

00:05end Moscow's nearly four-year-long war against Kyiv.

00:09We were discussing about the future of Ukraine.

00:12We discussed all the important matters that are important for Ukraine, for Ukrainian people,

00:21and the U.S. was super supportive.

00:24U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio said the meeting builds on earlier U.S.-Ukraine talks

00:29in Geneva.

00:30But he said there's more to be done, especially with a U.S. envoy headed to Russia later this

00:34week.

00:35There are a lot of moving parts, and obviously there's another party involved here that will

00:39have to be a part of the equation, and that will continue later this week when Mr. Woodcoff

00:45travels to Moscow, although we've also been in touch in varying degrees with the Russian

00:50side, but we have a pretty good understanding of their views as well.

00:53Meanwhile, Russian forces are still advancing on the front line with attacks on Ukraine's

00:59capital continuing over the weekend.
