Chrissy Teigen shared Wednesday evening that she has suffered a miscarriage following a recent hospitalization.

00:10hospital bed on social media and explained that she had suffered pregnancy loss after a recent

00:15hospitalization for excessive bleeding. Her message read,

00:30blood transfusions. It just wasn't enough. She went on to reveal they named the little boy Jack,

00:34saying,

00:35We never decide on our baby's names until the last possible moment after they're born,

00:39just before we leave the hospital. But we, for some reason, had started to call this little guy

00:43in my belly Jack. So he will always be Jack to us. Jack works so hard to be a part of our little family,

00:49and he will be forever. To our Jack, I'm so sorry that the first few moments of your life were met

00:54with so many complications, that we couldn't give you the home you needed to survive.

00:59We will always love you. Teigen and Legend have two children,

01:02Luna and Miles, who they conceived through IVF treatments. The couple announced they were

01:06expecting a third child in Legend's music video for the song, Wild. In a later tweet on Wednesday,

01:12In early September, Teigen revealed she was being put on bed rest by her doctor for a couple of weeks.
