James Cameron on 'Terminator' Writers: "We've Got the Best of the Best of the Best"

Cameron shared the confidence he has in making the reboots great.

00:00I think it was a really good room.

00:02I mean, it was one of the best times I've ever had in a writing room,

00:05and I just want to give David another shout-out

00:08that he was right there front and center with everyone else.

00:11So we had four top screenwriters, Tim, myself, and David,

00:17and we were brainstorming for months.

00:19And, you know, we'd get an idea, we didn't think it was good enough,

00:23we'd discard it, we'd come back to it later, we'd elevate it.

00:26But through that winnowing process, I think we've got the best of the best of the best.

00:30And we're going to make three really fucking great movies.
