00:17Themyscira are much more covered up with armor in Patty Jenkins' Wonder Woman than in Zack Snyder's
00:22Justice League. And Twitter user Rosco Ghori also posted a side-by-side image of each film's cast,
00:28with the Warriors in Justice League revealing much more of their abs. Wonder Woman's costumes were
00:33designed by Lindy Hemming, while Michael Wilkinson, who also handled the costumes for Batman v Superman,
00:38worked on Justice League. One Twitter user had this to say about the new look.
00:41I mean, yes, they have great abs, but it makes no sense to fight like that. While many express
00:46frustration, some argue that the costume change may have been a result of the film's period in which
00:51the Amazonians are shown. To be fair, it's possible that the scene in which we see the Amazons in
00:56Justice League takes place in the distant past, as implied by the trailers. In that case,
01:01they would have had to change the looks, wrote one user. Athena Film Festival artistic director
01:05Melissa Silverstein also called it a fantastic example of the difference between the male and
01:09female gaze. The Hollywood Reporter has reached out to Warner Brothers for comment. Justice League
