00:00Thank you so much for being here. I believe tomorrow is a big day for you here in Toronto.
00:10Can you tell us what we should expect? Well, this will be the first time that I'll be showing the
00:17film with a big audience, without being a test or anything. And if people haven't heard yet,
00:26the logline or whatever of Jojo Rabbit, it's a big passion project. And you're in it as
00:32well. What should people know? What should people know? Well, they should know that it's a major
00:39motion picture experience that I have written and directed. It's set in World War II and it's
00:45an anti-hate satire. It's, I think, what we need right now in this day and age is things like this
00:51to help us understand how we should be moving forward in life.
00:57If you have the time, I don't know if you will while you're here, to see another movie, somebody
01:02else's movie, which is the one you'd most want to see based on what you've heard out
01:06on the streets or whatever? I'd love to see Knives Out because I love Ryan's films. And
01:11I think officially I'm too late because it was tonight, I think.
01:15Well, they tend to screen more than once. Lastly, you're about to head up to our HFPA
01:20Hollywood Reporter Party. If you were to get stuck in an elevator, who would you like to
01:24be stuck with here? There's a lot of colorful characters at this year's festival.
01:28Not in specific, but just as long as they're made of vegetables and cheeseburgers, then I'll
01:36be fine for a long time.
