00:00How are you? You look so good. I love this dress.
00:02Thank you so much.
00:03Now this is your first award show tonight, right?
00:06This is my first award show tonight. I'm very excited.
00:09Who are you most excited to see?
00:11Oh my gosh. I honestly, I've thought about this question and I don't have an answer.
00:16I'm so unbelievably blessed and grateful to be a part of a community and a union of actors like the ones here tonight.
00:26And I'm just so unbelievably grateful to even be here. It's just so exciting.
00:31But I think, because I'm biased, I think Mr. Jonathan Bailey, of course.
00:36Coming up, you're in Jurassic World Rebirth with him.
00:39How would you say that movie compares to what we've seen of the Jurassic Park and Jurassic World franchises before?
00:44I think it's something you've never seen before. Really, truly.
00:48It's an ode to the original, for sure.
00:51It's a lot of familiar things that you'll see from the original, I can say.
00:59It's a new world. It's a new world. It's a new cast.
01:04It's forget everything you've known, basically.
01:07Go into it with an open mind and fasten your seatbelt because it is terrifying.
01:13It is really scary and it's just filled with excitement and adventure.
01:18And it's written by David Kapp, who wrote the two original Jurassic Parks.
01:24And this is the one that he's coming back with.
01:26So it's really, really fun. I'm so excited.
01:29We can't wait to see it.
01:30And we're here at the SAG Awards tonight, but the Oscars are just a week away.
01:33Who are you rooting for for Best Picture?
01:35Wicked. Wicked. Wicked.
01:39I feel like you have to say Wicked.
01:41Wicked. Wicked. I mean, come on.
01:43I've seen it seven times. I have a problem.
01:46I told John when I saw him last, I was like,
01:50you have something so special on your hands.
01:54It is magical to be able to see just Cynthia and Ariana
01:59and Ethan and Jonathan just in that element.
02:03And our fabulous Michelle and Jeff Goldblum.
02:06It is really, really, it's one of one.
02:10It's so beautiful.
02:12And I think, again, just because my favorite dreamboat,
02:15Jonathan Bailey, is in it.
02:17Yeah.
02:17This past week, I want to ask you about this.
02:19Maya and Ethan Hawke made headlines for talking about
02:22actors getting cast in roles for their amount of Instagram followers.
02:25What's your take on that?
02:27And have you ever sort of seen that on projects you've worked on
02:29that people are kind of counting up the Instagram followers?
02:32I've seen it one too many times, truly.
02:34It's unfortunate because there's a lot of actors,
02:39including myself, that from day one have been in a casting room
02:44and have been maintaining these relationships
02:47and have been working to the bone to get any sort of job
02:52and have been putting their life on the line
02:54and have been blood, sweat, and tears, have been doing this forever.
02:59So it is a little challenging when, you know,
03:02this new world of social media and, you know,
03:06social followings in that way can take over.
03:09I think that, you know, it's very specific,
03:12the roles that are going to, you know, people like that.
03:16And then there's roles that are going to the other folks.
03:20And I think everyone's going to get what they're meant to get.
03:25But, you know, I get it, but it's also, it's hard.
03:30It's a little hard as an actor myself, you know.
03:33You
