00:00:00Oh, look at that!
00:00:02Absolutely phenomenal!
00:00:04Rudy!
00:00:06Welcome to Match of the Dead.
00:00:30Good evening.
00:00:50It's the start of a very busy week in the Premier League
00:00:53and it's been a great day of football.
00:00:55Five games on the way for you tonight.
00:00:57Expect comebacks, late drama and plenty of goals.
00:00:59Joe Hart and Danny Murphy have enjoyed a lively afternoon
00:01:02in the Match of the Day office.
00:01:03As usual, they've got plenty to say,
00:01:05although not to me about the Camel Jumper memo.
00:01:07Manchester City followed defeat at Newcastle last weekend
00:01:11by losing to Leverkusen at home in midweek.
00:01:13Next up was the visit of Leeds United in the bottom three
00:01:16and on a run of three straight defeats.
00:01:18Guy Mowbray was at the Etihad.
00:01:21It's fair to say that the mood amongst Leeds fans at the moment
00:01:24has most of them not expecting much here today.
00:01:28While City fans, well they could be forgiven for not knowing what to expect.
00:01:32They did think there'd be changes to the team
00:01:34and Pep Guardiola has made nine of them,
00:01:37almost fully reversing his Tuesday night decisions.
00:01:40Tijani Rinders in for Ray and Shirky.
00:01:43That's the only change from City's last three Premier League starting line-ups.
00:01:47For Leeds, five changes as James Justin, Ilya Gruev, Ayo Tanaka, Dan James and Willian Yonso come in.
00:01:54Sean Longstaff is out with a calf injury.
00:01:57Anton Stach, due to concussion protocols.
00:01:59Goodmanson, Okafor and Brendan Aronson all dropped to the subs bench.
00:02:06If today is going to be the day of his 100th Premier League goal,
00:02:10well maybe it's just meant to be.
00:02:12As Erling Haaland faces his first love.
00:02:14He was born in Leeds, just as his dad Alfinger was about to make his own move to Manchester City.
00:02:21So two defeats in a row for City which has happened before this season.
00:02:26They won the next one 3-0 against Manchester United.
00:02:29And a firm favourites to get the better of Leeds United.
00:02:35There's Mateus Nunes.
00:02:38Bernardo Silva, Nunes into the box and in behind to put it across for the first goal to be scored.
00:02:46Phil Foden gets it.
00:02:49All of Leeds United's worst fears have just happened.
00:02:53Josko and Guardiola with the ball out to Mateus Nunes.
00:02:58A few eyebrows raised with Daniel Farka's decision to leave out Gabriel Goodmansen,
00:03:03the regular left back today.
00:03:05It was down his side.
00:03:07Mateus Nunes into the medal.
00:03:09Foden lifted his left leg at just the right time.
00:03:13And with 59 seconds on the clock,
00:03:15it's Manchester City 1, Leeds United 0.
00:03:17Leeds fans will not stand on sentiment if they believe that a change would be best to give their team a chance of staying up.
00:03:26A sizeable number have been very vocally questioning whether Daniel Farka is the right man going forward.
00:03:33That's Guardiola.
00:03:36Mateus Nunes able to wait for it.
00:03:39Junto knew he had precious little chance of winning it in the air.
00:03:42He has won it on the floor, but he has done that at the cost of a corner.
00:03:45It's Grueff who's got the job of keeping tabs on Haaland as well as Strauch.
00:03:54But it's Guardiola they should have been concerned about.
00:03:57He's headed it back to Foden.
00:03:58Oh, good save.
00:04:00I reckon that might have been going in.
00:04:03Strong hand from Lucas Perry.
00:04:05And it was going in.
00:04:13City go again.
00:04:15Lucas Perry doesn't clear it!
00:04:17And it's in for two!
00:04:19Josko Guardiola.
00:04:21And it's his first of the season.
00:04:25The problems mount.
00:04:28Well they're not always picture book goals.
00:04:30Lucas Perry stretching.
00:04:31He might feel as though there was a little bit of being impeded by Bernardo Silva.
00:04:37But he wasn't stopped from getting anywhere near the ball.
00:04:39Guardiola with the finishing touch from what?
00:04:4220 centimetres out.
00:04:47James on the run.
00:04:49James might just have the run here on Guardiola.
00:04:52Guardiola sticks to his task.
00:04:54Here's Njonto.
00:04:55And now it's Mecha!
00:04:58He's never really on.
00:04:59Would have had to have been pretty much perfect to score from there with that chance.
00:05:05But it was a chance of sorts for Leeds.
00:05:11And again Doku.
00:05:15Reinders.
00:05:16And again Doku.
00:05:18And Doku across.
00:05:19It won't reach Haaland.
00:05:20It will come to Bernardo Silva.
00:05:22Bodies on the line for Leeds.
00:05:25Another one before half time and they're toast.
00:05:30Foden.
00:05:33That's Nico Gonzalez and Perry keeps it out.
00:05:39Doku.
00:05:43Bernardo Silva.
00:05:45Haaland trying to battle through to the ball.
00:05:47That's Reinders.
00:05:48And another block.
00:05:50Anything in the way will do to keep Leeds hanging on in this game.
00:05:54City very quickly shifted their mood there from passing the ball around to becoming predatory.
00:06:01Bion.
00:06:02Tanaka.
00:06:03Forward by Bogle.
00:06:04Mateus Nunes gives it away.
00:06:05Here's Tanaka through to Calvert-Lewin who tries to spin.
00:06:06And he's got the chance again!
00:06:07And he's taken it!
00:06:08Well there's a Daniel Farka substitution that's worked.
00:06:09And very quickly.
00:06:10Leeds are back in the game.
00:06:11Calvert-Lewin not offside by the time the ball first came his way.
00:06:12And very quickly leads her back in the game.
00:06:13Calvert-Lewin not offside by the time the ball first came his way.
00:06:14Can see that there.
00:06:15Looked as though the chance had gone when he spun and the ball rolled through.
00:06:21And then it started from the distance, and the A-C-B-B-B-B-B-B-B-B-B-B-B-B-B-B-B-B-B-B-B-B-B-B-B-B-B-B-B-B-B-B-B.
00:06:24And when on offside, he took the runs down a bit offside.
00:06:27Some of it came there.
00:06:28And he was also done with Birger.
00:06:29And he took the use of the cards that came around.
00:06:30He took the opportunity.
00:06:31And he took the Charter to the player.
00:06:32It was the first time the ball was the first time the ball came from.
00:06:34So they turned the ball in the game.
00:06:35Can see that there.
00:06:37you can see that there looked as though the chance had gone when he spun and the ball rolled through
00:06:44but then Mateus Nunes didn't deal with it as he should have done
00:06:48and he touches it back to Calvert-Lewin who's switched on sufficiently to score
00:06:58Lucas Perry trying to find Calvert-Lewin it's going to bounce through to Bogle
00:07:02Calvert-Lewin again oh is that a risk it was a risk but the follow-up is pulled wide
00:07:09Leeds have got the penalty they nearly got the goal anyway
00:07:14Bogle's knock on Calvert-Lewin against Guardiola was the next thing to happen and look at that
00:07:20nowhere near the ball Peter Banks just let it run a moment or two longer to see if Leeds could score
00:07:25anyway they might now
00:07:27Mecha puts the ball and himself on the spot
00:07:37can he score for a third game in a row and draw Leeds level
00:07:42saved by Donnarumma but it is straight back to Lucas Mecha who is not missing the second chance
00:07:49and Leeds have got a second chance in this game the former matches the City hopeful Leeds even more hopeful
00:08:00they won't settle for one point not the way this half has gone
00:08:05what happens next this really could go either way
00:08:09Foden across to Doku
00:08:20Doku gets half a yard Perry gets a hand to it oh it's sliced it's not decisive that from Strauch
00:08:26but it has gone behind for a corner he nearly mugged it into his own net
00:08:31but it has gone behind that anxious moment for Pascal Strauch
00:08:40Foden
00:08:45here's Guardiola
00:08:47Doku
00:08:49Doku with the run at Bogle really good cross saved by Lucas Perry
00:08:54Omar Mamouche with the head up got the direction like the power he might not get a better chance
00:09:07there will be at least 10 minutes added on we're into the first of them
00:09:16Foden
00:09:16Ruben Diaz
00:09:23Mateus Nunes getting closer
00:09:27Cherky
00:09:28Foden
00:09:30Foden's effort
00:09:34Foden's goal
00:09:40Leeds hearts broken
00:09:41the player who started it all might have just finished it
00:09:50brilliantly done by Phil Foden
00:09:53forced away from goal at first
00:09:57with a couple of touches later he still knew there was a gap to go for and that is as precise as it gets
00:10:05Manchester City 3 Leeds United 2
00:10:08we had this belief before the game during the game and right now even after the game so otherwise
00:10:15you can't come back after such a first half 2-0 and deliver such a performance and come so close
00:10:20perhaps even to win it here so missing is the clinical edge up front or perhaps the last final
00:10:25save or the last final tackle if we can add this then I'm 100% convinced we have more than enough
00:10:31also to win the points that we that we need
00:10:34you work so hard to get yourself back in a good position in the game and I think
00:10:38we perhaps could have managed the game a little bit better at times and
00:10:42you know what City are like they dominate the ball and then it's waves and waves of attack and
00:10:45they've got good players that can punish you
00:10:47but to do what we did we can we can take confidence from it but ultimately it's the points that matter
00:10:51today and in every game you need Phil Foden to be sparkling like he did
00:10:56just what sort of composure does it take to find that finish when he did in the way that he did
00:11:01it's the first time we saw that it's not the first time since they came up with us i have done it
00:11:07a thousand million times thousand thousand million times has done it so in that terms is
00:11:14he's absolutely absolutely you know we know the quality that you know can shoot strong and is able
00:11:21to put the ball simply to the net so i've always found myself in them situations where it's very tight
00:11:26on the edge of the box and i only had one thought in my head let's just try and get the shot off
00:11:29especially them late stages just try and get anything on it and yeah thankfully when it hit
00:11:34the back of the net there was yeah great feeling well he got them going very quickly today and he
00:11:39ended up finishing it all off but he got them out of jail joe as well yeah he got them out of jail
00:11:44but he got them out of jail with absolute quality his first half performance he was absolutely purring
00:11:49um stepped up for manchester city look he'll be aware of the noise around erling harlan being a
00:11:54one-man show up front and they're not they're not manchester city but in fairness this is the
00:11:59position he he he takes up harlan just leads with adamant that harlan wasn't scoring today but when
00:12:05you do make that decision you leave people like phil foden free 12 yards out such a brilliant cushioned
00:12:12finish beautiful finish in fact talk about that harling factor harlan factor sorry stroke and justin at the
00:12:19the back post they're obsessed with him phil foden's an intelligent player docu absolutely beautiful
00:12:26pass very very unlucky but dangerous the first half manchester city they really were purring
00:12:31another great example here of the erling harland effect and phil foden benefiting from it all the
00:12:37players around him it goes through this is the perfect position for phil foden to be stepping onto with
00:12:42a player of his quality it's actually an incredible block and at this point you thought like how many goals
00:12:47is it going to be this is one of the best one twos i think i've seen this season just sets himself
00:12:52with guardiol technique that ball's bobbling beautiful brilliant save and that actually resulted in the
00:12:57goal but this is it in the 91st minute 14 players in that box leads defending with their lives he's
00:13:05constantly checking how can i create space how can i create space turkey knows he's got to get it to
00:13:10his man he's sat in the pocket ready to win the game for him he's managed to get himself eight yards
00:13:14strike breaks out it's not a good first touch actually shimmy shimmy and then a beautiful finish
00:13:19and i'm not being funny vision they talked about it here i am not seeing a shot he's facing away from
00:13:24goal he's got that many bodies in front of him but his composure and then the way that he just strikes
00:13:29this ball through the bodies absolutely no chance brilliant finish absolute match winner brilliant display
00:13:37erling harland you mentioned him a lot there but phil foden's touch map uh pretty impressive oh he was
00:13:42everywhere and he was you could tell he was really enjoying today you know etihad was his dance floor
00:13:47getting on the ball he won't enjoy those red dots but ultimately there is goals so he goes on in his
00:13:51search for his hundredth goal harland uh but today that win was vital for them in terms of keeping up
00:13:57with the chasing pack with chelsea and arsenal playing tomorrow it was a massive win gabber i think
00:14:03by hook or by crook the performance was secondary the points was all that mattered after a disappointing loss
00:14:08at newcastle last week but to give up the chances they did last weekend and in the second half today
00:14:13and a lot of mistakes actually they're going to have to eradicate them if they want to stay with
00:14:17arsenal because daniel farker made some great substitutions that had an immediate impact
00:14:21for leads but actually city were the architects of their own downfall yeah i think i think city were
00:14:25really disappointed with how they started the second half like i say first half they were so dominant
00:14:30they had so many chances donnarumma so calm in the first half that's not a good decision from the big man
00:14:35and immediately just sent the cat among the pigeons i think someone like a calvert lewin coming on
00:14:40it does change your thinking as a center half and as a fullback nunez that we all know he's not
00:14:45naturally a defending player but i think leads came out on the front foot as we talked about farker so
00:14:52he didn't have an option there not a good touch from calvert lewin but nunez he's got so he's got two
00:14:57other options there that can eradicate any chance for calvert lewin he can't believe his luck absolutely no
00:15:03problem with this difficult pass into midfield his teammates get him out of luck now here the
00:15:08manchester city way does he set donnarumma or does he go old school smash it out for a throw in and
00:15:13deal with it from there he ends up doing nothing calvert lewin like i say can't believe his luck
00:15:18guardiol excellent player there's absolutely no need for him to try and he's trying to get his body
00:15:23and turn with the ball i don't know what he's trying to do there he can just put that out for a corner
00:15:27but city were rattled at this point blatant penalty and it allows leads back into the game and
00:15:32a team like leeds giving them confidence to hang on they made it very difficult yeah and they of
00:15:36course now have had four straight defeats in a row the noise will start to go the pressure will start
00:15:41to grow around daniel farker it's that time of the season isn't it it is but the last couple of
00:15:46games the level of performance has been good um they can take the players are playing for him
00:15:51they've been in a lot of games they've lost points late in games i think four or five points
00:15:56they've lost that 90 minute plus mark and i think if the fans just a bit more patient not more patient
00:16:01but stick with them a bit longer this team are getting better i know they've got some tough
00:16:04fixtures coming up but they can take a lot of heart from that second half performance he did
00:16:09comment in his post-match interviews about the timeout it was at 2-1 when donnarumma went down
00:16:15unfortunate little hamstring strain that was going on there it would seem um he's saying this is not
00:16:21sporting it's within the rules and he feels that it was a clearly for him an orchestrated moment
00:16:26that they could get together and have a huddle and they did city all the city players came in and had
00:16:31a huddle at that point and they stopped leads momentum and he just you mean a tactical meeting
00:16:35a tactical meeting that he felt perhaps is not in the spirit of the game well i don't know how he's
00:16:42medically allowed to say that donnarumma wasn't injured he might have been feeling his hamstring but
00:16:46it's not something that we haven't seen before um and you don't win that many premier leagues and that
00:16:50many titles without knowing the rules although he was all right when he ran to celebrate the goal
00:16:54like olympic sprinter um i think they can have good physios done yeah good physios i think they can
00:16:59change it really quickly if a keeper goes down injured instead of him having to go off for the
00:17:02minute the plow 30 seconds wherever it is one of the outfield players goes off then it's fair all
00:17:07round so it's a little change that made a little tweak little tweak okay to the stadium of light next
00:17:13sunderland and bournemouth level on points and both without a win in their last three met up knowing a
00:17:18victory for either of them would take them into the top four commentary comes from tom gale
00:17:25sunderland's unbeaten start here at home has their fans reveling in being tagged as a tough place to go
00:17:32dan ballard makes his 100th appearance for the club former sunderland boss sam aladi says granite
00:17:38jack is the best defensive midfielder in english football warmest only away victory so far came back
00:17:44in august at spurs i mean adley makes just his second premier league start antoine simeno returns
00:17:51following illness and injury six goals already but hasn't scored since early october
00:18:01not a fixture steeped in history this one just the 11th meeting overall between these two and their fifth
00:18:08in the top flights
00:18:15simeno can he benefit here low ball and it's a great one oh it's off the frame of the goal and followed
00:18:21up by adley paul must strike first at the stadium of lights and it's the man brought into the starting
00:18:29line up i mean adley who gets his first goal for the club there is a bit of fortune here that slip allows
00:18:40simeno to bring bournemouth forward what a ball into ever nielsen he can't finish but on the follow-up
00:18:48adley's alive and he makes no mistake sunderland nil bournemouth one
00:18:55main ilda he's in the cross towards isidore the keeper did well under pressure
00:19:01lafay heavy touch it will be a sunderland corner
00:19:04and jose labrisi side have just scored one goal so far from a corner they go short
00:19:20poor layoff from talby
00:19:24he's recovered well then oh no
00:19:27a gifted bournemouth possession adams goes for goal he spotted roofs off his line
00:19:37what a sensational goal that is from the american he doesn't score many
00:19:43and i think he'll probably admit he might never score a better one in his career take about tyler adams
00:19:50this all comes from a sunderland corner poor layoff from talby the american looks to his left
00:20:00spots the keeper off his line and thinks i'll go for this robin roos is scrambling back in despair
00:20:07he's on the receiving end of a premier league classic goal from tyler adams sunderland nil
00:20:14former two
00:20:20chaiori squeezes it through to the fair
00:20:24chaiori trying to get in behind true fair sunderland throw
00:20:32it's going to be the first sunderland long throw of the afternoon to be taken by nordic l.a
00:20:38it's allowed to bounce isidore feels as though he's being held
00:20:47semenyo can't get away from lefay there's a bournemouth player down inside the 18-yard box
00:20:53the attack is still coming reynaldo goes down he wants a penalty and the referee agrees
00:20:59warmouth are in disbelief referee tim robinson allowed himself a little bit of time to process
00:21:09this and he deems that challenge by alex scott from behind that's sufficient to award a spot kick
00:21:17the var say that reynaldo stepping across into the path of the ball contact from behind so it is a
00:21:25correct decision to award sunderland the spot kick so sunderland's second penalty of the season
00:21:34it was enzo lefay who tucked away his spot kick against grenford here back in august
00:21:41he's looking to drag his team back into this match
00:21:46lefay no mistake
00:21:54regis labris unnude but delight amongst those home supporters
00:22:01can't keep it does go the right way but walmart's advantage has been halved sunderland one or two
00:22:08two
00:22:13still up by tabernier
00:22:16jacket have another go here no disguise back to jacket crowd wanting him to shoot picks out try or a
00:22:29inside the opening 60 seconds of the second half
00:22:33and it's a first ever goal in sunderland colors for bertrand try or a good disguise on this to pick out try or a
00:22:49it's tight he beats the goalkeeper at the near post
00:22:53and that's certainly got the crowd up just the start they wanted from a home perspective
00:23:04semenyo gets away goes low and it's there it deflects and finds its way into the back of the net but
00:23:11the assistance flag has been raised bournemouth's joy is short-lived
00:23:16so man you finds a way through it comes off alderate and is that going in before evanielsen gets a touch
00:23:35three kicks underlands he's not impressed
00:23:37smith goes down unchallenged it will be
00:23:49a sunderland corner but randall smith will approach to get back to his feet
00:23:57makes contact
00:23:58that's why he's gone down back to his feet and defending a sunderland corner
00:24:07lefay his corner
00:24:09ruby
00:24:13off the bench as sunderland come from behind to lead against bournemouth
00:24:19randall
00:24:21regis labris is giving nothing away but it's goals in back-to-back home games for the dutchman
00:24:29lovely delivery from lefay
00:24:32he's moving away from goal the number nine is being held uses the momentum off the football to guide it
00:24:40away from petrovic who saw this coming after the opening 15 minutes sunderland three born the two
00:24:49back to sanessi
00:24:57brooks
00:24:59on his left
00:25:01kook stands up the cross
00:25:04still not cleared tavernier off the ball
00:25:10wundle gets there he's all alone though needs some help
00:25:19does really well there the youngster
00:25:24so then yo is not happy with something and he's being shown a yellow card
00:25:29i don't think warm can actually believe the way this game has panned out
00:25:34proofing true fair
00:25:42brooks surely going to be shown a yellow card
00:25:46warm if they're starting to lose the clock
00:25:48they can't believe how this game has got away from them
00:25:53it's a rugby tackle
00:25:59mcfiele has been shown a yellow card
00:26:04david brooks shown the bournemouth yellow card
00:26:06i can't see why david brooks has any complaints
00:26:20jacques
00:26:22backs into his man
00:26:23no he doesn't
00:26:25no he doesn't the referee saw that as a sunderland free kick
00:26:34lewis cook has been shown a red card
00:26:39this is the reason why that forearm into noah sadiki violent conduct and his dismissal surely ends
00:26:48any bournemouth hopes of salvaging something from this afternoon
00:26:53sunderland three
00:26:55bournemouth two
00:26:57it's very difficult to keep your your head leveled i think everyone supporting bournemouth
00:27:02today would have not a yellow card a red card uh everyone looking at the game know how the game has
00:27:07gone and how the referee was calling everything i had one tommy had one sean had one on the bench
00:27:12you are in the premier league you try to keep your level headed you try to go over these these things but
00:27:17he's basically lost control absolutely of the game i understand it's a great stadium atmosphere
00:27:22everyone pushing putting but i don't think you can lose the control of the game like it happened
00:27:27today this league is really demanding you make um two mistakes and you get punished very quickly
00:27:33coming from two nil down and winning this game at the end i think uh it's a big achievement it shows
00:27:39once again that this this team has a strong character they they are not they are never beaten they
00:27:46they want to to fight so after these two goals i think um many teams can
00:27:51give up but it wasn't the case for us today
00:27:55yeah and it's the first time in 177 attempts that sunderland have come back from a two goal
00:28:00deficit in the premier league to go on and win so that if nothing else tells you just about the fight
00:28:06in this team and what a game well i got lucky today because joe had first choice so i got i got this
00:28:13game but i was so pleased it was incredible two great teams playing with energy freedom going toe for
00:28:20toe sunderland deserved credit as well for that because they went to a back four to get more men
00:28:24forward on the pitch um but one player in particular lefay first sunderland was the main instigator in
00:28:30the comeback he was terrific um it could this game could have been four four five five but this is at
00:28:35two nil pushing on to try and get back in the game committing men forward and as you see here lefay
00:28:41as you want fighting for your team winning tackles isn't his forte he's more of a flare player we know
00:28:45that nice and positive with his passing and this is the contentious penalty
00:28:50reinildo gets fouled we think initially when you watch it again it's soft he puts his leg across
00:28:56scott yes he's a bit stupid to dive in shouldn't really give the referee decision to make but he's
00:29:02looking for it and they decide to give it and once he's given it var weren't going to change it
00:29:07and then lefay hits a beautiful penalty under pressure to give them the impetus down get the
00:29:11fans behind them this is what sunderland's about winning the ball back working together hunting in packs
00:29:17and there's your man again great strike inches away from getting his team back in this is the
00:29:21first minute of the second half of course bournemouth are going to be disappointed
00:29:24treyori was terrific caused a lot of problems jacker again the carmen influence in there getting them
00:29:29passing and lefay as well involved brilliant move 2-2 and then all of a sudden the fans are up they
00:29:37feel like they can win it again it was end-to-end bournemouth contributed i have to say that to a
00:29:41wonderful game lovely little pass from the face so confident with that he wants to take responsibility
00:29:47robbie's there off the bench just missed that one but here he is super sub quality at a corner from
00:29:53lefay again and the header from robbie's terrific two winners in two weeks and the stadium is just
00:30:00ecstatic there you it was amazing to see this team that have come up who nobody gave a chance including
00:30:07me now sitting in a wonderful position in the premier league that manager deserves great as we finish
00:30:12november you know december next week they are fourth or they're in the the top four of of the table
00:30:18which you know it just must feel like heaven to sunderland fans and that home form that we just showed
00:30:22you there is is largely why if you can make home a fortress as they are at the moment then you stand
00:30:28yourself in a very very good position though yeah that's incredible what's going on today and it was
00:30:33absolutely rocking that's the kind of place that enjoys those wet and windy conditions
00:30:37to go 2-0 down and still believe in what we're doing with absolute quality credit to them they're
00:30:41really establishing themselves this season and they're a joy to watch the games are really really
00:30:46enjoyable yeah next time you can bagsy it okay newcastle still without an away win so far this
00:30:53season went to everton who won at old trafford in an eventful encounter on monday night
00:31:01david moyes has never won at old trafford as the visiting manager
00:31:07it's all kicking off within the everton players here and a red card has been shown how ludicrous is this
00:31:13and then bends it beautifully into the top corner
00:31:25six he's headed what a save kingford
00:31:28everton have done it david moyes has tasted success at old trafford your commentator at hill dickinson
00:31:35stadium steve bauer spurs are the only team to win here at everton's new home as david moyes team aim
00:31:42for three league wins in a row without the suspended adrissa garner gay and injured seamus coleman so
00:31:48iribunum and o'brien are in newcastle who've now gone nine premier league away games without a win
00:31:55ring the changes including a premier league debut for the club in goal for aaron ramsdale nick pope
00:32:01isn't in the squad due to injury burn miley and alanga also all-star
00:32:06so everton get us in the way unbeaten in the last four premier league meetings against newcastle united
00:32:20that's the first challenge for the returning down burn it wasn't a free kick
00:32:24in that challenge with barry here's voltemeier
00:32:26to the path of alanga who was able to get a shot in and jordan pickford
00:32:33had to make sure by turning that round for a corner
00:32:37and alanga here burst through less than 30 seconds into the game
00:32:41early first corner into a pack of players and in
00:32:45it's malik ciao with his very first newcastle goal just a minute into the game
00:33:03good leap from the german got there first and guided it past pickford
00:33:08off the mark in a newcastle shirt and that newcastle goal after 55 seconds the fastest
00:33:18of this premier league season so far
00:33:23well early cross from him barnes
00:33:30really important challenge from michael keane harvey barnes the top scorer banging form
00:33:35with a clear sight of goal with a really good stretch from key
00:33:40has been good to him seven points and nine so far
00:33:45where kalenko to floated in
00:33:47kosko would stay forward little layoff to michael keane deflected
00:33:51and deflected over well the two central defenders linking up well there
00:33:57it's 48th birthday today eddie how what a present a positive result here would be on the road
00:34:10malanga
00:34:11brown michelenko
00:34:14where she's for keane but it's back now with livermento
00:34:17barnes couldn't find voltamada the skewed effort from livermento miley
00:34:22two nil newcastle
00:34:30lewis miley's third premier league goal
00:34:36was initially miscued by livermento there came back to miley oh and pickford will be disappointed
00:34:44that was straight at him and that is an error but newcastle were mine
00:34:49it because the team with the travel sickness
00:34:53nine premier league games without a win are now two goals to the good
00:35:05baltamada for three nil brilliantly taken well after four premier league games without a goal
00:35:13the germans back on the score sheet and that could be a killer goal already at this stage
00:35:19and what a scoreline for the visitors too easy for a langer there
00:35:26and where was the marking with voltamada but then a very cool finish
00:35:32from the big german and this is a long way back already now for everton
00:35:37right on the stroke of half time three nil down
00:35:49jewsbury hall
00:35:53grealish against livermento
00:35:56livermento sticking to the task in hand it's an everton corner
00:36:01garner with it
00:36:11alcaraz
00:36:15who crashed that against the woodwork
00:36:18i'll tell you something i think ramsdale
00:36:21produced a fantastic stop there to prevent it going over the line
00:36:25watch ramsdale here it might have even been harvey barnes
00:36:30who got to this first either way it was hugely effective
00:36:36before alcaraz crashed it against the woodwork it was barnes
00:36:39right on the line well just to clear this up might have struck harvey barnes's arm slightly there but
00:36:47tucked in in a natural position
00:36:55what a lovely ball from hall pigford's back scampering and he's denied barnes in the end
00:37:01because there was a split second of uncertainty there from the everton goalkeeper
00:37:07and then stood strong and denied newcastle's top scorer
00:37:12miley with it well defended by michelenko
00:37:18back in from miley burn lurking voltamada denied by pickford
00:37:31oh we can't keep that one out though
00:37:37four nil newcastle and two of them scored by malik ciao
00:37:45the second lowest scorers away from home in the premier league have hit four well initially it was
00:37:52nearly four here pigford touches it tarkovsky blocks it but everton knew the danger
00:37:59wasn't clear back in from lewis hall and it's another fine header from malik ciao
00:38:09his highest ever in a season is two
00:38:13this level without in less than an hour here
00:38:16michelenko's cross barry waiting burn blocking barry scoring well it's only a consolation in terms of
00:38:32today but it's a huge moment for tiano barry who finally has his first everton goal
00:38:39now then the only problem is does he head this onto his hand before he swivels and slices it in
00:38:51the ar are checking this because of course if it does hit his hand and lead to a goal
00:38:57it will not stand and it isn't going to stand so the weight goes on
00:39:12lifted forward by tarkovsky
00:39:14jewsbury hall fabulous taken goal
00:39:16that's a goal of the highest quality and everton do have one back this time
00:39:26his second in a week his third in everton blue
00:39:31what a first touch and a very cool one into the back of the net as well look at that first touch
00:39:37neverton one newcastle four massive win for us first away win of the season we needed it we've been
00:39:46chasing it and it's been elusive so far but that was a big moment today and a really good performance
00:39:51as well from the the players um thought we looked solid i thought we looked physically really good
00:39:56which was a tough test after marseille manik very well done how good does that feel amazing amazing
00:40:01performance from the from the team um yeah just happy to take the three points to me personally as
00:40:06well to score two goals amazing feeling they told me it was the fastest goal this season in the
00:40:10premier league um i didn't know but yeah i think um it put us into a good position to start the game
00:40:15we were beaten by a far better team much more experienced looking team certainly much more
00:40:19powerful team than we were got onto our back line too quickly counter-attacked as you know and
00:40:25you can see the experience they're gaining from playing the european games as well you know whether
00:40:29keeping keeping teams at bay a little bit and then the speed they've got in the front lines very good
00:40:34and uh i thought they'd done that to us tonight
00:40:37well newcastle united have only scored three goals away all season they score four today
00:40:43and get that elusive away win they've been looking for since april and you could see on eddie howe's
00:40:50face the huge smile what it what it meant to him and the team how did they do it danny
00:40:54well they did it with a really good start and a good team performance but i think the main reason was a
00:40:58wonderful performance from two young exciting and thankfully english fullbacks who they haven't had on
00:41:05the pitch enough they've only started together three times but they gave them a different element
00:41:09going forward so much more creativity and penetration look at livermento early in the game he's in between
00:41:16the lines he's bursting past people he's onto the everton back line it's unlucky with the past but that
00:41:20that was setting out his stall look at the position he's in iraq boonham's occupied by his midfielder
00:41:26grealish has lost him because he's expecting his fullback not to be in there great little space
00:41:31on the half turn not what you expect from most fullbacks i mean he's just so dynamic and so
00:41:37adventurous plays so free gets his team a corner and they caused a lot of problems down this right-hand side
00:41:44this is the second goal i just want you to watch him as the better the play's building up
00:41:49when he's when he's here he doesn't stop keeps getting involved look at that little flick
00:41:55doesn't stop again he ends up centrally okay it's a wild shot but look at the positions he's taken up
00:42:00he's overloading in forward areas which everton are struggling with on the other side we haven't seen
00:42:05enough of lewis hall he's a terrific player loves to get forward gets in these areas so often
00:42:11causes problems again for everton you've got grealish and india who are super players playing
00:42:15well who spent most of the time defending because of these two again look at the pair of them this
00:42:20time this is probably my favorite clip i mean talk about away from home being adventurous when you
00:42:25haven't won deciding to go for it look when he picks it up here livermento there's his fullback
00:42:33the other fullback two highest players up the pitch trying to play his other fullback in to get in on
00:42:38goal gets his shots away just goes over it's absolutely incredible and the quality he's got
00:42:44with his crossing we've seen before hence the fact he's played for england already and for newcastle
00:42:48moving forward having these two fit and available to play gives them so much more going forward it
00:42:54was a terrific performance all round but those two especially for everton frustration because they
00:42:59couldn't build on that win at old trafford on monday night it felt like euphoria on monday night
00:43:03an incredible result great team effort they probably would have expected it's done a lot
00:43:08better this afternoon but as danny said there newcastle were out the blocks shocked them i don't
00:43:12think i don't think the team were ready especially after watching them probably in midweek against
00:43:16marseille and can we just give a mention to kian and jewsbury hall and tyler adams from earlier on
00:43:19because if he's going to score a worldie you've got to do it on the winning side unbelievable
00:43:23richarlison as well from last week last week yeah so you're not going to get a good week in terms of
00:43:27goals yeah after monday night as well okay uh there are five games on sunday's match of the day
00:43:33including chelsea at home to the leaders arsenal
00:43:36mateta
00:43:39to make absolutely sure morgan rogers making it look easy wolves rooted to the fit of the table
00:43:48three and l for us it's in brindley a precious moment for westhair gravenberg two down
00:43:57benendez to seal the win for chelsea right now arsenal look unstoppable
00:44:06five premier league games uh sorry five lives premier league sunday is across all the premier

00:44:47next up tottenham with the second worst home record in the league against fulham with the joint
00:44:52worst away record simon brotherton is your commentator spurs make four changes from last
00:44:58week's derby defeat at arsenal randall colomawani scored twice at his parent club psg in the champions
00:45:05league in midweek and keeps his place as do pedro poro archie gray and lucas bergval christian
00:45:11romero is suspended marco silva takes charge of fulham for the 200th time tonight and makes one change
00:45:18samuel chukwesi on loan from milan came off the bench to set up the winner against sunderland last week
00:45:24and gets his first start in the premier league this evening in preference to kevin
00:45:30spurs last win at home in the premier league was on the opening day of the season which was the last
00:45:35time that fulham got anything on the road they secured a point in that opening match have been
00:45:40empty-handed ever since away from the cottage swept forward off the boot of wilson here's alex iwobi
00:45:49and now josh king
00:45:55chukwesi
00:45:57jimenez is in the middle wilson's up there too
00:46:03kenny tete with a shot which takes a deflection and fulham ahead in three and a half minutes
00:46:08well kenny tete hasn't scored for two years almost to the day but via a deflection it's his shot that has
00:46:20full of a head bergval was wrong-footed by the pass tete blasted it towards the goal
00:46:28chukwesi lays it off and here you can see it takes a deflection which carries it past the goalkeeper
00:46:39it's tottenham hotspur nil full and one it deflects off udogi past vicario
00:46:47what a start for marco silva's team two wins in the last seven in the league for them much needed
00:46:54three points last week against sunderland and a great start here and now jimenez and vicario fully
00:46:59committed
00:47:03has given the ball away and now he's a mile out of his goal as harry wilson makes it too
00:47:09oh what an error by vicario what was he thinking on a play for harry wilson the finish was superb and
00:47:18inside six minutes stunned spurs of two down at home
00:47:26the crowd have barely taken their seats
00:47:29and amazingly full of a two nil up in this london derby vicario here decides to hang on to it
00:47:40it that's a fantastic finish from wilson king lays it off wilson first time fulham two up
00:47:50two minutes and 16 seconds between the two goals tottenham are rattled it fell kindly there for
00:47:57ewobi looking to make the most of it here's samuel chukwesi and still with chukwesi
00:48:03it's a corner he looks like a very good uh loan signing for the season for fulham samuel chukwesi
00:48:10taking a little while to get fully up to speed they brought him off the bench a few times including
00:48:14last weekend getting a first start today
00:48:19nervous to be really jangling for tottenham every time fulham go anywhere near them chukwesi
00:48:24oh and it was so close to three wow samuel chukwesi rattles vicario's post fulham
00:48:36so close to a three nil lead in ten minutes
00:48:41what a night under the lights this could be turning into
00:48:44menes with a little flick poro under pressure here's chukwesi he's around the keeper what a
00:48:52challenge that is by van der wijn sensational great play by the dutch defender
00:49:02well chukwesi looked as if he was in there but nikki van der wijn to the rescue for tottenham hot spot
00:49:07well thomas frank needs his team to find a goal or two there's a man who knows where the goal is
00:49:17teddy sheringham former tottenham striker
00:49:20here comes kevin danso it opened up before him into
00:49:31kolomawani gray finds poro fulham on the backboard and the header just wide from kolomawani
00:49:42best we've seen from tottenham randall kolomawani getting up superbly ahead of kelvin bassey
00:49:48fulham very much on the back foot at the moment in this little spell of the game
00:49:55kudus again seeing plenty of the ball drilled in by poro sent away by wilson not convincingly bergbao
00:50:03here's kudus it's a thunderous finish from mohammed kudus and with just over half an hour to go
00:50:14it's a different game now well what a time for mohammed kudus to score his second goal of the
00:50:20season look at the space he had here and he made it count terrific finish
00:50:26beyond burned lane oak bergbao's delivery one to control it and the other to lash it into the back of
00:50:33fulham's net interesting that fulham should score two goals in the first six minutes
00:50:39today because they'd only scored four goals in the first half of games all season before coming here
00:50:47more defending for fulham to do though poro marauding down the near side there was an opportunity
00:50:53for simon's challenged importantly at the final moment by anderson tottenham will have another corner
00:51:01as a result
00:51:05put us with the corner it's off the line it was jimenez for fulham
00:51:14all hands on deck for the visiting side here now
00:51:18raul jimenez was in the right place at the right time here to head the ball off the line
00:51:24fulham winners have just one of their last 15 visits to tottenham in the premier league still ahead
00:51:35in this one and this is a rare second half attack as chukwesi
00:51:39handled by uh raul jimenez who is booked for it by the referee
00:51:50he tried to bat that one towards the goal with his hands
00:51:53and it's a yellow card for the fulham striker petro poro looking for the run made by uh sar
00:52:02bassy across anderson away
00:52:13danso launches this throw
00:52:17and the shot is
00:52:19that the color moany with the back flick there not far wide of the post
00:52:25color moany brilliant improvisation and unlucky to see it go just wide
00:52:32dancer with the clearance now but again he can't find a teammate sander burger there's the final whistle
00:52:39booze rain down from the home crowd thomas frank's team lose at home for the fourth time in the league
00:52:47this season fulham's first away win of the season their first win at tottenham in 12 years
00:52:56of course every game plan you have you can throw it out in the bin um after six minutes the first one
00:53:01was a a deflected go a deflected shot uh goal and the other one of course a mistake uh from vic uh no
00:53:07problem and um i heard some of our fans apparently booed uh the incident and booed after which in my
00:53:13opinion is completely unacceptable can't be true uh children fans that do that well deserved three points
00:53:18big win but very well deserved what a first half from us um two nils should be should there be more um
00:53:26of the post bowl when we went with the goalkeeper shook on some some some great moments from us
00:53:30what a goal from from mary what a confusion from age and you and clear that the goalkeeper was not on
00:53:37the on the goal and the first touch on the ball after the pass from josh what a finish top last goal
00:53:42from mary so thomas frank saying it's unacceptable for the spurs fans to boo vicario obviously there was
00:53:48an edge around tonight wasn't the confidence seemed very low and he was undoubtedly at fault for what
00:53:53turned out to be the winning goal do you understand the fans frustration there i do understand the
00:53:59fans frustration it's obviously difficult i know the role that vicario is playing um he's a great team
00:54:04player he's a real leader in the dressing room but ultimately you're going to be judged by your actions
00:54:09and he was heavily involved in what turned out to be the match winning goal good position really they're
00:54:14already one nil down early on so the edge is already in the stadium now people will be asking
00:54:18for him to clear it here i understand and now he's got himself this is when you realize i'm in big
00:54:23trouble do you know what i'll just knock it out i'll get my defenders back and i'll get back in goal
00:54:28but he still wants to try and keep the ball in play that's the modern way that's the modern day
00:54:31goalkeeper screws one up the line but this is brilliant from fulham king and wilson immediately
00:54:38realizing tottenham are in massive trouble now king knows what a technician harry harry wilson is
00:54:44so he lays it on a plate look at harry wilson when he receives this back to goal but he trusts his left
00:54:49foot he knows he's just got to set that out at the penalty spot and let the curve on the ball do the
00:54:54rest that is an absolute piece of art but from a topman point of view completely avoidable
00:55:01great vision from him yeah absolutely and thomas frank now is is obviously going to feel some kind
00:55:06of pressure with the fans not happy letting their disquiet be known that is now them only having
00:55:12one once at home at the beginning of the season three times this calendar year as well well he's
00:55:18got to take the stick he's he's taken a high profile job at a huge football club with massive expectation
00:55:24so there's pressure and responsibility that comes with that and the performances at home have been poor
00:55:29and they've got to improve quickly he's got a hell of a good squad yet he's got a few players missing but
00:55:33i don't think at the moment he knows his best team or he's not sure in his best formation and that's
00:55:39a problem and the confidence is really low so they've got to keep working hard i mean they had a good go
00:55:43second half and made some chances but um yeah for now he's got to ride the criticism he's got to
00:55:49keep working on the training pitch and get that team winning some games at home and on the flip side
00:55:53for marco silva and fulham they'd only had one point uh on the road this season five straight defeats in a row
00:55:59uh you know they they scored so early in that game as well didn't they really took control
00:56:04of the game scoring the first half isn't something that they've they've generally been doing so you
00:56:08know that that would be a real confidence boost you'll be really pleased because before last week's
00:56:14well the last game against sondland when they won that there was a little bit of criticism coming
00:56:17his way the team was struggling a bit a lot of talk about his contract two great performances six
00:56:22points everything settles down i actually think fulham have played better this season than their points
00:56:27tally reflects um i think a lot of the fulham fans now would like to see the contract issue
00:56:33concluded and him signed because he's done a wonderful job okay uh next up brentford with four
00:56:38wins from six at home so far this season against a burnley side in the bottom three and on a run of
00:56:44three straight defeats connor mcnamara watch this one keith andrews makes two changes from brentford's
00:56:53defeat away at brighton last weekend aaron hickey replaces christopher iron in defense while matthias
00:56:59jensen starts in midfield ahead of yarmuluk scott parker makes two changes to the burnley team that
00:57:05started against chelsea last time in midfield hannibal mebrey makes his first premier league
00:57:10start since august in place of uguchukwu while lyle foster joins the attack preferred to jayden anthony
00:57:17since their own promotion to the top flight brentford have had a very strong record against newly
00:57:25promoted sides here at this stadium they've won their last ten in a row scoring at least twice in
00:57:31each game
00:57:35he's very comfortable dropping his shoulder and advancing nathan collins plays it up the defender for
00:57:41a brentford corner
00:57:48decent quip on that collins is close very close for brentford the brentford captain looking for his
00:57:55first premier league goal of the campaign close against his former club three defeats in a row before
00:58:03today but scott parker says he's still pleased with his team's performances he doesn't believe they're
00:58:09far off where they need to be
00:58:13this is high-risk stuff and jensen's been caught in possession and down goes hannibal mebrey
00:58:17and burnley is screaming for a corner but it's going to be a yellow card for the attacking player
00:58:24simulation from hannibal mebrey he sees yellow for a dive video assistant referee today is neil davis
00:58:33they say that is a clear act of simulation no contact from the defender it's a yellow card for diving for
00:58:41hannibal mebrey
00:58:43cullen
00:58:43pass from hannibal mebrey and then fiorentino's attempt to fleming was just fractually behind the
00:58:52intended target
00:58:54tango watara is able to wriggle free of fiorentino here this is michael damscott can he get the angle oh he did
00:59:02just couldn't keep the shot down
00:59:03look at the space he's got here and was able to cut back infield of cullen
00:59:15burnley very fortunate that that wasn't in the back of the net
00:59:20hannibal
00:59:22walker
00:59:24chance to look up for hannibal mebrey
00:59:26touch from shader
00:59:32kept in by hartman
00:59:35nice interchange between hartman and chowder and then a shot on target from zion fleming
00:59:41he's by far the best that barely have offered today
00:59:46that's the most stressful moment that creepy keller has had today
00:59:49coming into this weekend only arsenal and manchester city have won more premier league home games this
00:59:57season and only those two teams have scored more home goals this campaign than keith andrew's side
01:00:03jango watara trying to cut it back for shot again it's walker's clearance this is the ensign
01:00:09gets it back from hickey damscott
01:00:14fairly defensive with a lot of pressure at the moment walker looks to relieve some of that
01:00:20attempted clearance blocked down by jensen damscott looking for it got chiago cut out by esteve
01:00:27this is coyote and that's very close coyote scooping it in for jango watara and the two of them nearly combining
01:00:38at the moment burnley are hanging on a little bit now
01:00:42this season the gtech has become one of the premier league's toughest tests the only visiting team to
01:00:48win here have been manchester city home support that's getting well used to celebrating home
01:00:53victories here hoping that a late winning goal is going to arrive today it's a good touch jensen to
01:00:59damscott he got chiago took off too early jango watara's time to his run well though then a big collision
01:01:04and it's going to be a penalty penalty to brentford and a glorious chance of a breakthrough
01:01:11yellow card for axel tuenzimi it's all been looked at by the video system referee does tuenzimi get a touch of
01:01:20the ball before any collision outcome of this decision could well decide the game penalty is going to stand
01:01:29in the last 10 minutes of normal time ego chiago who's been the heartbeat of brentford's attack this season
01:01:41and he puts the keeper the wrong way after just 13 league games this season it's the quickest any
01:01:50brentford player has taken to reach 10 goals in a premier league campaign
01:02:03lawrence hartman
01:02:07oh hesitation for keone the referee points to the spot burnley get a penalty now
01:02:12it's only two minutes since ego chiago scored the spot kick down the other end and now brentford
01:02:21have given a penalty away zion fleming can he level things up with just over five minutes of normal
01:02:29time to play here up against creepy kelleher who's got a good record from spot kicks but can't do anything
01:02:35about that burnley get it back to 1-1 and it's now four goals in these last five premier league games
01:02:44for zion fleming
01:02:52steps header
01:02:56touch from yarmuluk here's coyote who gave away the penalty a moment ago henderson that's a really good
01:03:00ball in and kyle walker he tried to clear it couldn't and that man again igor tiago
01:03:10we went 81 minutes in this game without a goal and now there's been three goals in five minutes
01:03:22ruthless finish from the brazilian igor tiago he's now up to 11 in the premier league this season
01:03:30and that is nine goals now in these last eight games for him
01:03:37rico henry damsgaard who's had some glorious touches today
01:03:43here comes jordan henderson this can finish it now watara it's gonna be brentford's day again
01:03:51the solidity of their home form continues
01:03:55it's a third premier league goal of the season for django watara and didn't he take it well took it
01:04:04around to stare
01:04:07brentford three burnley one
01:04:12i thought it was a it was a big win for us to um we've been yeah pretty good at home so far this season
01:04:17so we wanted to keep that momentum um first half i thought the game was a little bit scrappy and
01:04:23um not many chances it was a bit of a fight but second half like you see i think we grew into the
01:04:29game uh we're a bit more patient and and forced the um the chances that we got a bit more um and
01:04:35played in their half and and thankfully we're got a reward to the goals there's elements to our game at
01:04:40this present time what we need to we need to learn from we need to fix for sure at the start of this season
01:04:45i probably knew what this journey would look like and there's um there's a journey ahead of us where
01:04:49there's going to be some bumps in that journey we need to learn and be brutally honest in our
01:04:53assessment of things and we've got a massive game now on wednesday and we'll we'll come again
01:04:58igor chiago continues to to bang in the goals 11 now in 13. he's been magnificent yeah i thought
01:05:03he was quiet in the first half um put on him a little bit of half time i wanted him to influence
01:05:08the game a little bit more some of that was down to us not giving them enough service opposition
01:05:12obviously denying that space and an opportunity but equally i felt he could impose himself a little
01:05:16bit more on the game he said he did on the second half yeah it was a game you didn't want to leave
01:05:20early all the goals coming after 81 minutes four goals in 12 minutes as well but it's the the front
01:05:27four if you like of brentford the four attacking players that you're really impressed by especially
01:05:31when you consider the players the names that they've lost over the last year and a half yeah especially
01:05:35with the names that they've lost but with that front three of watara tiago
01:05:38the shader but damsgard fourth season now just linking the play up beautifully they look a real
01:05:45threat going forward it's just lurking in that kind of phil foden role looking threatening all the
01:05:52time they look to play to him they allow him to drift into different positions one thing he must love is
01:05:57when he looks up there's his front three there's three threats all the time with a player like him with
01:06:03the quality he'll actually be very disappointed with that but brentford are relentless they don't just go for
01:06:08one attack if they can turn it over if brent if um burnley did the like they do they're going to keep
01:06:13coming and keep coming and the threat's always in the middle really good header be disappointed that
01:06:18he's missed there dams card on that left hand side just looking to receive on the half turn
01:06:23tiago stretching as much as he can really good sada just takes control here and just kept knocking on the
01:06:31door kept asking questions and he felt like it was coming
01:06:36turnover dams card always on that half turn really good tiago running always just threats coming from
01:06:42all angles and they've earned that penalty there and what i loved about seeing this penalty is he had
01:06:47a big moment last week saved stepped up cool as a cucumber massive moment for his team obviously got
01:06:54pegged back pretty quickly but this team know what they're doing now we've got that trademark jordan
01:06:58henderson around the back as i was talking about before not just one chance relentless keeping on
01:07:04going and we know in the premier league a one goal lead isn't enough so i'd have turning it around the
01:07:09corner here and this is lovely ball into watara this is a really composed finish we really pleased with
01:07:15his work excellent job today from brentford excellent so tiago danny uh the fastest brentford player in the
01:07:24premier league to double figures and he sits with an illustrious list of brentford players and the
01:07:28names around him he's he's looking to get into the brazil squad that's his goal he's got no caps so far
01:07:35the world cup's the aim has he got a chance he has got a chance because he's unique and he's a bit of
01:07:39an all-rounder he's old school physical but he's got good touch he can run him behind he scores different
01:07:44types of goals he can link up well i think he's got a chance because nobody's really nailed down that number
01:07:49nine for brazil yeah and he's had a terrific start to the season brilliant all credit to him top
01:07:54brazilian goal scorer in europe at the moment as well so he should be in the squad yeah okay danny
01:07:59murphy says so uh before we go let's take a look at the premier league table and manchester city's
01:08:04dramatic late win over leeds cuts the gap on arsenal to four points ahead of the gunners trip to chelsea
01:08:11on sunday sunderland's dream start to life back in the top flight goes on as they rise back up to four
01:08:15defeats for leeds and burnley keep them rooted in the bottom three but fulham open up the six-point
01:08:19gap above the relegation places following their victory at tottenham thank you so much to danny
01:08:26and to joe so foden saved city from a fright to make sure arsenal aren't out of sight even though
01:08:32leeds put up a fight and sunderland won again at the stadium of delight good night
