00:00Joey King is opening up about her experience joining Taylor Swift on stage during the Ares tour.
00:06Back at Swift's July 7th tour stop in Kansas City, Missouri,
00:09the superstar singer and songwriter brought King, Taylor Lautner, and Presley Cash out on stage
00:15following the premiere of her music video for I Can See You, Taylor's version from The Vault,
00:19which they all starred in.
00:24The premiere occurred the same day Swift released her re-recorded album, Speak Now, Taylor's version.
00:30While King is used to having fans, she told CNN of the experience,
00:33that's a different level. It's a very niche experience to walk out on a stage of 70,000-plus people.
00:40The Kissing Booth actress revealed that she didn't realize she'd be joining the antihero
00:43singer on stage until she arrived at the concert. King said,
00:47I started sweating and freaking out and I got really nervous,
00:50but it was incredible to just have that experience and feel that energy coming at you.
00:55The actress also compared being on stage in front of tens of thousands of people to the feeling of
00:59an ice bath. She said,
01:01It just takes your breath away, and you're genuinely caught for breath. It was truly a
01:06breathtaking experience to see all those people that are sending all this energy at you directly.
01:11It was exhilarating.
01:12King and Swift first worked together in 2011 when the former starred in the latter's music
01:16video for her hit song, Mean. For more on this story, go to THR.com.
