00:00Time to be done with the talking. Let's drop the gate and go racing in Australia.
00:07And when it matters most, Tomac delivers with a great start. He's going to lead him.
00:13Eli Tomac on the number one Red Bull KTF, but Hayden Deegan got a great start. He's right there
00:20in second. Hayden Deegan's going after the reigning world champions. Rocks it with a terrible start.
00:26With Webb. He's buried back in the pack. With Cooper Webb. Boys, what are you doing back there?
00:32You got, oh, good crash. You got 12 laps to make some moves, but Hayden Deegan versus Eli Tomac.
00:38Now, I don't know how this is going to go, but Ralph, this is a massive gap in generation right here.
00:43Oh, Christian Craig. These are buddies right here. Christian Craig was a coach of Hayden Deegan earlier this season, but
00:49and he gets in there. He's got him, but Deegan bounces right back to challenge.
00:56Hey, Hayden Deegan inside. Gets back around Craig for a brief second. Craig got a whole
01:03big handful of throttle. Got back around him again, and school is in session right now
01:08for Hayden Deegan. Soaking all of this up. Absolutely. What an opportunity surrounded by
01:1530-year-old and up legends. These guys have so much awe. It's Anderson.
01:20That's a bummer for the championship points. Wow.
01:24The Pipes Motorsports Group racer, Jason El Hombre Anderson, out. And Roxxon has closed up pretty quick.
01:35Roxxon finds himself in sixth behind Savace.
01:39Roxxon just cased the triple so bad. Went off the track. Lost the spot.
01:44Big bubble. And Craig is right there to try to capitalize. Craig on the 28. He's going to have
01:51the line on the inside. He's got the new leader. Wow. Nice work, Christian Craig.
01:58Craig doing a great job. And he puts the quad lock Honda right to the front. And Yariv Kotsky
02:06takes a big sigh of relief. His guys are leading at his home GP.
02:10Absolutely. And if you're Christian Craig, you've heard us hype up Tomac and Deegan.
02:15You're probably thinking, you know what? Get me on that track. I'm getting better and better on my
02:20Honda. Give me a shot at these boys. And he just got by both of them in the early laps of this race.
02:24Nice work, Christian Craig.
02:26Here's the points as we race. Craig and Tomac are tied at 35. Webb and Roxxon right behind them.
02:46Whichever one of these guys wins this moto is basically going to win the overall.
02:50Yeah, that pass was not only for the raceman, but for the overall. We'll have to keep our eye on Webb
02:56and Roxxon because if they make some moves, they can put themselves in position too. But
02:59if you're Christian Craig, you can't worry about anybody but yourself right now, which is what he
03:03is doing. And he's doing a great job at it. Two amazing passes. And now a little defense maybe
03:10because Eli Tomac has recovered. Well, the one thing Tomac's not going to do is panic. Eli Tomac will
03:16get himself in his rhythm and go after him. And here's Webb with Roxxon right behind
03:20him. Those two running in 6th and 7th. And they've got a lot of laps yet to go. So we'll
03:27see. Fitness is definitely going to come into play tonight. These guys have all trained
03:32hard, but they haven't ridden in this kind of heat and humidity in quite a while.
03:36Yeah, 12 minutes isn't the issue as Roxxon gets by. And that may have put him into the
03:41overall, but it's the heat. It's the humidity. It's just draining of sweat all day.
03:47Looking at the championship standings as we're racing. Roxxon leads it with 116. Crank behind
03:54with 95 in 2nd. And there goes Roxxon inside of Sibachi. Couldn't complete the pass yet.
04:02And I'm telling you right now, Ken Roxxon cased the triple so bad. And as a racer, when you land that
04:08hard on your feet, it takes a moment for you to regroup and say, hey, am I okay? Am I okay?
04:12It took him like five seconds and he was back on the attack, which is what he's been
04:17all night long. Going back to sprint race number one. I mean, this guy is so fun to watch
04:24make passes. And we're going to have to see two big ones right here coming from Roxxon.
04:28Here's the Randa on the 20. And Sibachi.
04:31Wow.
04:33Roxxon struggling to get around.
04:37And look in the small box.
04:39Christian Craig and Tomek fighting.
04:46And Craig gets to the lead. Tomek hanging on in second.
04:53Deegan is all over him and makes the pass.
04:56Roxxon on the screen here fighting for fourth.
05:06And here's the battle you're hearing everybody screaming about.
05:09Deegan in front of Tomek.
05:11That's second.
05:13And in front of them is Christian Craig.
05:15There's the gap between first and second.
05:17And you see the gap from second to third.
05:19Tomek didn't panic earlier, but now he better
05:22because he's got Deegan and Craig pulling away and he's got Roxxon closing up.
05:26Absolutely. And Ken Roxxon's passes put him in the position to win this overall.
05:31But Hayden Deegan just passed Eli Tomek.
05:35I mean, again, the generation gap, this battle we've been hyping up.
05:38We got it there as Christian Craig pulls away.
05:41But Hayden Deegan through the whoops.
05:44I'm telling you, that is impressive for him on that 450.
05:47Just learning that bike.
05:48Gnarly a set of whoops I've seen in a long time.
05:49And he's just muscling through him.
05:52What a run.
05:55And here comes Webb on that number two.
05:58And keep an eye on him because he could get into this overall
06:00without necessarily winning the race here.
06:04And race number three as Deegan just continues to climb up three spots now.
06:11The position's game.
06:14And Roxxon up eight.
06:16Even after casing the triple.
06:18You know, Ralph, testing the temperament.
06:23Deegan went down in race two, okay?
06:25To be able to bounce back from that 20 minutes, what, 30 minutes later,
06:30and go and regroup and then make a pass on Eli Tomek,
06:34that tells you a lot about his character, his temperament, his mentality.
06:38This right here is proof of what he will be doing in this 450 class.
06:43He is a dog, and this is proof right here.
06:47No doubt about it, there is a bright, bright future on a 450 in front of Hayden Deegan.
06:53And it's really going to kick off in the summer of 2026 when he races the outdoor championship in the United States on a 450 full-time.
07:04Back to the 250 for Supercross in the U.S. in January, and he'll get ready for a 450.
07:11So maybe we'll get lucky, Daniel, where the next time we see Hayden Deegan on a 450 in a Supercross race
07:19will be another FIM World Supercross race in the fall of 2026, which would be exciting as well.
07:27You better be careful.
07:28He may perform himself onto it sooner.
07:30I mean, this is—look at these two.
07:34I mean, we're talking about two of the best in Supercross over the last 10 years.
07:40The amount of race wins.
07:41Eli's second on the list all the time, and Hayden just—he's just one of them.
07:46And for Ken Rockson, if he can get Tomek here at the end of this one, it would be huge for him.
07:52As Tomek and Rockson battling one more time here in FIM World Supercross competition in 2025.
08:00Rockson into the whoops.
08:02Here he comes.
08:02He's got him.
08:04That's a huge mental moment for Ken Rockson to know he put it to the reigning world champ.
08:09Yeah, and for the overall, that puts him in position, guarantees it.
08:13But I will say, Eli Tomek is having some struggles in that whoops section, and we saw in Vancouver
08:20they made some little adjustments, as did he.
08:22He got better.
08:23This is a big test right here on how they respond after this race, because this has not been great.
08:28This has been a tough race for him.
08:30Not working really well in the whoops.
08:32This is a dry condition, which was not Vancouver.
08:35A lot of tape going to be studying.
08:37Down goes the 98 machine of Austin Politelli.
08:45That's a tough break for him.
08:47Rockson trying to catch Deegan.
08:50Here's Deegan, closing on the 38.
08:57And Rockson's behind him.
08:59The riders have to roll through that section, waving medical flags like that, and the bike
09:05down the center of the track.
09:08Coming soon to the final lap.
09:12You know, Ralph, if you look at Hayden Deegan's Supercross pass, too, I think he's been better
09:16in soft conditions where aggression really works.
09:20Dry conditions has been tougher for him.
09:22You put him on that 450 with that power, and these dry conditions, what a test pass.
09:29He's looking to win the event here.
09:31Daniel, he sits third in the race.
09:34Now we give him two points over Craig, who might win race number three.
09:38But the overall looking to go to Ken Rockson.
09:49Here's Cevacci holding on right now in front of Webb.
09:54That's a fight for fifth.
09:56Cooper's right there.
09:58Still fighting late.
10:02You're right.
10:02These conditions, this weather, oh, being tested right now.
10:08And Rockson has gotten around Deegan.
10:16Oh, no, he was working past the slower bike, I believe is what it was.
10:21We're watching in that small screen on there.
10:26Final lap is underway.
10:28Here's Webb.
10:31You know, poor Christian Craig.
10:33Not a lot of TV time when you check out like that.
10:35But, Ralph, what a race.
10:38Big picture for his career.
10:39This is a massive moment.
10:40He knows it.
10:41You see that?
10:42It's a happy man.
10:43Checkered flag.
10:44And Christian Craig lights the candles at the Australian GP
10:48with a win here in race number three.
10:51Hayden Deegan with an incredible second place run as he bounces back.
10:56And Ken Rockson will get his fifth overall win
11:00as he claims the event here at the Australian GP for 2025 on the Gold Coast.
11:06What a night of competition here.
