00:19Back in November, the New York premiere of I Love You Daddy was cancelled just hours
00:24before the event was set to begin. Later that day, the New York Times published a story
00:28that included testimonials from five women that accused C.K. of sexual misconduct.
00:33The film's distributor, The Orchard, announced that they would not move forward with the release of the movie.
00:43Seemingly referring to men like C.K. who've been accused of sexual misconduct, the actress said,
00:51She added,
00:52Some also took issue with the movie's plot. I Love You Daddy tells the story of a TV writer-producer,
01:11played by C.K., who tries to stop his 17-year-old daughter, a.k.a. Moretz,
01:16from starting a romantic relationship with a 68-year-old filmmaker, played by John Malkovich.
01:21C.K. starred in, wrote, directed, and produced the film.
