00:00Congratulations on all Fargo's Emmy nominations. What does it mean to receive
00:04recognition this year for the show? Well, we're 10 years into this journey and
00:09the fact that we got 15 nominations is hugely meaningful in terms of the
00:15cultural relevance of the show. We managed to hold on to that for the
00:21audience of being a show they look forward to seeing. Up next you have Alien
00:26Earth. What can you tell us about where you are in the process with that right
00:30now? I'm editing right now and I haven't seen all of them yet but we're wrapped
00:37and you know it's looking great. The cast is phenomenal. You can't go wrong with
00:45with some aliens and it's yeah I'm very happy with how it turned out. Alien
00:50Romulus used a lot of practical effects. What can you share about how much you
00:55leaned on practical effects versus you know VFX in the show? Mostly practical. I
01:02prefer that and then you know obviously there's there's some CG but but I always
01:10want to feel it in the space and have the actors reacting to real real things so I
01:17had a guy in a rubber suit and you know all the creature effects and and Weta
01:23working for me and you know it's it's so exciting. How long do you think it will
01:28be until you return to Fargo for another season? Well it's not going to be right
01:33away because you know FX is very bullish on Alien. I think they'd love for me to to
01:41go back to back with a couple of seasons to really get it launched so probably
01:46after that but I have I have some thoughts. I have some thoughts. I know what I'm doing.
01:53We can't wait to see it and can't wait to see Alien Earth. Thank you so much for being
01:56here tonight. Thank you.
