01:42Recall, yesterday we told you 6ix9ine was arrested over the weekend along with his ex-manager Shadi and three other former associates that go by Criffy, Ish and Malmurda.
01:52The men were arrested on federal racketeering and firearms charges and if convicted, 6ix9ine could face a minimum of 32 years in prison.
02:00Page Six reports that the FBI initially took 6ix9ine into custody to protect him after they learned the rapper's former team members allegedly wanted to, quote, super violate him.
02:10AKA, hurt him really bad.
02:12The threats to his life came following his interview with The Breakfast Club, an interview in which 6ix9ine explains that he only fears God and ironically, the FBI.

02:44Assistant U.S. Attorney Michael Longyear said federal agents feared an attempt to take 6ix9ine's life would happen at the casino and they didn't want any innocent bystanders to get caught in the crossfire.
02:55We're not totally sure why the feds went from protecting 6ix9ine to then holding him up on charges the next day, but once we know, we'll let you know.
03:03But anyway, TMZ reports 6ix9ine's attorney Lance Lazaro proposed the rapper be released if he paid $750K, surrendered his passport and remained on house arrest, but the court denied the rapper bail for now.
03:15Lazaro told the site that 6ix9ine has been placed in general population at Brooklyn's Metropolitan Detention Center.
03:22The MDC is reported to be notoriously brutal, which means 6ix9ine has to await his bail hearing with, quote,
03:28extremely dangerous, violent, and escape-prone inmates.
03:326ix9ine's bail hearing is scheduled to take place on Wednesday.
