00:00And finally, let's discuss these rumors that Britney Spears' family and friends were planning an intervention
00:05because both Britney and her husband, Sam Asghari, have responded.
00:10Reports from both People Magazine and TMZ claimed that people close to the pop star
00:14were planning on staging an intervention after concern for her health.
00:18A source told the outlets that an intervention and another plan for Britney to receive treatment
00:24had been canceled after she became, quote, somewhat aware of what was going on.
00:29Well, Britney herself clapped back on Instagram with a lengthy statement, which read in part,
00:33it makes me sick to my stomach that it's even legal for people to make up stories that I almost died.
00:38I mean, at some point, enough is enough.
00:40As my hubby says it best, don't believe everything you read.
00:44Well, her hubby then gave a statement of his own to Access Hollywood's Mario Lopez,
00:49telling him an intervention did not occur.
00:51My wife is in full control of her life and will continue to make all decisions involving her care,
00:56regardless of circumstances.
00:57Speculation on her health is inappropriate and should end immediately.
