Netflix has won rights to Arnold Schwarzenegger's first scripted TV series.

00:00Arnold Schwarzenegger is headed to Netflix.

00:03The streaming platform has won the rights to the star's first scripted TV series.

00:08The streamer outbid several other outlets for the show, from Skydance Television and

00:12creator Nick Santora.

00:13The untitled project is said to be a spy adventure series that will center on a father, played

00:18by Schwarzenegger, and daughter, played by Monica Barbaro.

00:21The Terminator star and former California governor is also an executive producer of

00:25the show, which would mark his first regular role in a series.

00:28Schwarzenegger also has a standing relationship with Skydance, which produced the last two

00:33Terminator films.

00:34News of the project first came to light in August, with Schwarzenegger attached, before

00:38Skydance took the show out to potential buyers.

00:41As for Barbaro, the actress reoccurred on ABC's Stumptown last season.

00:45Her credits also include the forthcoming Top Gun Maverick, ABC's Splitting Up Together,

00:49Netflix's The Good Cop, and NBC's Chicago Justice.
