00:19release. As you are already aware, Ariana and Pete Davidson recently ended their whirlwind

00:25relationship, and Ariana has been throwing a bit of shade at Pete as he continues to talk

00:29about their relationship. After he pretended to propose to a guest on SNL, Ariana tweeted

00:34out, quote, thank you, next, which prompted a lot of attention from both her fans and

00:39Pete's fans. When Pete referenced Ariana in a promo for SNL, she tweeted out, quote, for

00:45somebody who claims to hate relevancy, you sure love clinging to it, huh? It turns out these

00:50tweets were foreshadowing her new song release, because on Saturday night, right before Saturday

00:55Night Live aired with her ex-fiancee Pete, Ariana announced a new single titled Thank You Next.

01:00The song features a catchy tune and insightful lyrics that give fans insight into her previous

01:05romances. The lyrics read, quote, thought I'd end up with Sean, but he wasn't a match. Wrote

01:11some songs about Ricky, now I listen and laugh. Even almost got married. And for Pete, I'm so

01:16thankful. Wish I could say thank you to Malcolm, cause he was an angel. She went on to sing, quote,

01:21one taught me love, one taught me patience, and one taught me pain. Now I'm so amazing.

01:26I've loved and I've lost, but that's not what I see. So look what I got, look what you

01:31taught me. And for that, I say thank you, next. Other lyrics in the song go on to reveal that

01:36she's spending more time with her friends and less time worrying. So now she's going

01:40to focus on herself. In one of the verses, Ariana sings, quote, she taught me love, she taught

01:46me patience, and she handles pain. That's amazing. I've loved and I've lost, but that's not

01:51what I see. Just look what I've found. Ain't no need for searching. Although the song is

01:55extremely catchy, the lyrics are deep and insightful. Many people are crediting Ariana's mastermind

02:01manager Scooter Braun with the release, as he knows how to make any situation a business

02:06opportunity. Celebrities reacted to the song on Instagram with Khloe Kardashian saying, quote,

02:11you are so epic. Proud of you. YouTuber Colleen Bollinger commented, yes, her name is Ari,

02:17bye. And talented Broadway Tony Award winner Kristen Chenoweth commented, best song ever.

02:22The publication Out released a statement saying, quote, it is indisputably one of the greatest

02:28breakup anthems of all time, finding the perfect balance between shady and love. Another message

02:34from the publication reads, quote, if anyone can turn messy celebrity breakup drama into

02:38pop gold, it's future Nobel Peace Prize winner Ariana Grande. Forbes released a statement saying,

02:44if this woman can not only survive what life has thrown her way, but come out on the other

02:48side with this message, there is truly hope for all of us. Ariana clearly has the support

02:53of many others in the industry, which is important as she moves forward with her life after dealing

02:57with so many tragedies over the past year. Right after the song went public and SNL aired,

03:03Pete addressed viewers directly and said that he knows people are curious about what happened

03:07in the breakup, but it's nobody's business and sometimes things don't work out. He also said that

03:12Ariana is a wonderful and strong person and he wishes her all of the happiness in the world.

03:17Right now, it seems that there's peace between the couple as they both move on in their careers.
