00:14I'm not sure I'd be alive if I wasn't a dad.
00:16Cooper and Irina Shayk, who dated from 2015 to 2019, welcomed their daughter in 2017.
00:22He compared fatherhood to having an anchor.
00:25I just needed someone to say, like, we're going to drop this massive anchor.
00:28I'm like, why? We're speeding.
00:30I just got an upgrade on the boat and I know where the wind's coming in.
00:33They're like, no, no, no, there's a tsunami coming in and you need an anchor and we're going to drop it
00:37because this is going to dictate everything you do from now on.
00:41Cooper later admitted that when his daughter was first born,
00:43he initially didn't understand when other parents would say I would die in a second for my kid.
00:48For the first couple of months of her life, he thought, I don't even know if I really love the kid.
00:52It's dope. It's cool. I'm watching this thing morph.
00:55But then he said his feelings and perspective changed in an instant.
00:59All of a sudden, it's like no question.
