Yeah, I mean, I'm not sure if I'm captain yet, but...
00:07
Oh, yes, you know.
00:09
You can't presume, you can't...
00:11
Yeah, I think it is really special.
00:13
I think, obviously, like, Leah is England captain
00:15
and she does an incredible job at that,
00:17
and I think you can see in the competitions we've won
00:19
that she's been monumental in those moments for us.
00:22
I do try and lead in a little bit of a different way.
00:24
I could never step into Leah's shoes in that sense,
00:27
but, yeah, I think for me it is really, really special,
00:30
and, obviously, more so for my family as well, I think.
00:32
To captain your country, there's not many better moments in football than that.
00:36
I'll be honest, I've been getting a lot of stick from the girls this camp.
00:39
They keep calling me skipper all the time.
00:41
Yeah, I think it's kind of a natural progression as you get older.
00:45
I think captains do tend to be a little bit older.
00:48
I won't say I'm the oldest on the team yet, but I'm getting there.
00:52
Yeah, I think it's just a nice moment, as I said, to be captain.
00:55
I think it doesn't change who I am as a person or how I play.
00:58
It doesn't have an effect on that,
01:00
but I think it's sometimes nice to have a little bit more responsibility.
01:04
I think, again, it's something that Serena's always tried to encourage me
01:07
to do a little bit more often.
01:08
I think it's a nice thing.
