00:00I am here today in Monmouth. The town is recovering. I can't thank people enough for supporting everyone in Monmouth to get back on their feet and start the process of building back better.
00:15We have two shops in Monmouth and one in Tinton. Two unfortunately were affected by the floods that we had last Saturday.
00:22We've all been working very hard to get up and running and we've managed to get both shops open so we're ready to welcome you back.
00:28Monmouth is still the fantastic town that it's always been so if you're thinking about doing some Christmas shopping why not pop over to Monmouth this year and support our local businesses. We really need you. Thank you.
00:39We have the four shops and the restaurant in Monmouth. Three of them are back in business as normal and the coffee shop restaurant is back too.
00:47We've got the big brands on the toy shop like Jelly Cat and Lego, Giftware Homeware and then in the cook shop all the big brands as well and gorgeous kitchen products for Christmas.
00:57We really look forward to seeing everybody for their Christmas shopping.
01:01I'd like to thank everybody from Monmouth who supported us through the clean up. It's been a fantastic effort and now we've opened our doors and we're very excited to see you over the Christmas festive period.
01:13And what's really important now on the run up for Christmas that we start to support our businesses. They need us now. They're opening up. The best thing we can do is get on that street and all the streets where there are shops in Monmouth, Church Street around the corner in Drybridge.
01:31Go to the restaurants. Go into the shops. Buy your Christmas presents. Let's help Monmouth recover.
01:40All Monmouthshire County Council car parks are free until the end of December.
