On Friday the FA, Irish FA, Scottish FA and FA of Wales submitted a joint bid for the FIFA Women’s World Cup in 2035.The tournament would be the first World Cup hosted in the country since 1966 and the bid includes 22 proposed stadiums.

00:00Good morning, everyone. Thanks for joining us at St. George's Park.
00:06Yeah, I think, of course, we brought a bid in now, and it's not done yet that it's going to the UK,
00:16but it's really exciting, because if you see what it's going to look like,
00:19it's going to be the biggest event worldwide ever, which is really exciting.
00:24And, of course, what we also all experienced at the Women's Game is growing,
00:30and we want to keep pushing, keep going. So, yes, I'm really excited about it.
00:34If I look back to 2022, and obviously it wasn't the UK, it was England,
00:37but the opportunity we had to play in front of a home crowd was incredible,
00:41and I think for the younger generation in the UK to have that opportunity would be really, really special.
00:46And I think to inspire even more young girls and boys to watch women's football and get involved,
00:52I think it's a great opportunity for that.
