00:00They had come for the daughter of the man they once served with, the man they lost in a terrorist attack.
00:08They gathered around the red Fuloki Chadar, its golden gotha catching the light.
00:13You could hear the chatter as they made sure every side was held right.
00:17A moment later, the Chadar had risen above their heads for the ride.
00:21Every corner had been held by the Punjab regiment.
00:24All of them had travelled for one moment that mattered to them deeply.
00:27Muskaan's wedding, the daughter of late Suresh Singh Bhatti.
00:31Suresh was martyred in Baramulla in July 2006.
00:35On 25th November, during his daughter's wedding in Dabra village, a bus carrying 50 soldiers pulled up outside.
00:42His former unit had come to support his family.
00:44They met the relatives, offered their wishes and took part in the rituals, including the Kanyadan.
00:49Muskaan's brother Harsh now stands in the same uniform his father once wore.

00:55The visiting soldiers praised him, encouraged him and reminded the family that the Indian army's bond doesn't end with duty or death.
