Trump lashes out over Afghan suspect after National Guard shooting in Washington
US President Donald Trump blames the previous administration for allowing the suspect in the Washington National Guard shooting into the country, calling the incident a 'terrorism threat' and announcing the deployment of 500 additional Guard members. 'People crammed onto the plane,' he tells reporters during a video call with military service members from Mar-a-Lago for the Thanksgiving holiday.

00:00As you may know, DHS has confirmed that the suspect is an Afghan national flown here by the previous administration, who was such a bad administration.
00:12And I have a picture of a plane. This is what it looked like when they came in. It was total bedlam. Do you remember that period of time?
00:21Total bedlam. People crammed onto the plane and the toughest, meanest, most capable physically got on the plane, not the people that we were looking for or that they wanted to bring in.
00:36Here's a picture for you. Just take a look at that plane.
00:40So why do you blame the Biden administration? Because they let him in. Are you stupid? Are you a stupid person?
00:46Because they came in on a plane, along with thousands of other people that shouldn't be here, and you're just asking questions because you're a stupid person.
00:56And there's a law passed that it's almost impossible not to get them out. You can't get them out once they come in.
01:03And they came in, and they were unvetted, they were unchecked, there were many of them, and they came in on big planes, and it was disgraceful.
01:11So, as you know, we're sending 500 more. We had very little crime in Washington now for, you know, many months.
01:19Record-setting low crime. And this happened. And I don't know how you put this on the scale of that.
01:25This is sort of different. This is a terrorism threat. And this was done because they're so effective.
01:31If they weren't effective, you probably wouldn't have had this done.
01:34But this was done because the National Guard has been so effective.
01:38You know, you went from having a tremendous amount of crime and death, killing, everything else, to having none.
01:45And this happened, I assume, because it was so effective.
01:49And maybe this man was upset because he couldn't practice crime.
01:54Who knows what his motivation was?
01:55And many of these people are criminals. Many of these people are people that shouldn't be here.
02:02And many of them have been gotten out. I mean, we've gotten out some, a lot of the people that, you know, we've taken a lot of them out of here.
02:09But many of them aren't here legally, right?
02:11Yeah, I know. Many are wonderful. Yeah, I'm sure.
02:13I said, I said many are here.
02:15The St. E. St. E. reminds us that we have no greater national security priority than ensuring that we have full control over the people that enter and remain in our country.
02:28For the most part, we don't want them.
02:31They come in illegally.
02:34They have a lot of problems.
02:35Their country has forced them in because their countries are smart.
02:38They don't want them.
02:39Let's give them to the Americans to take care of them.
02:41They come out of jails in many cases, mental institutions, their gang members, their drug dealers.
02:48We don't want them.
03:11They come out of jails in many cases, mental institutions, their gang members, their gang members, their gang members, their gang members, their gang members, their gang members, their gang members, their gang members, their gang members, their gang members, their gang members, their gang members, their gang members, their gang members, their gang members, their gang members, their gang members, their gang members, their gang members, their gang members, their gang members, their gang members, their gang members, their gang members, their gang members, their gang members, their gang members, their gang members, their gang members, their gang members, their gang members, their gang members, their gang members, their gang members, their gang members, their gang members, their gang members, their gang members, their gang members, their gang members, their gang members, their gang members, their gang members, their gang members, their gang members, their gang members, their gang members, their gang members, their gang members, their gang members, their gang members, their gang members,
