00:00Everyone's waving. Thank you very much. And I'm honored to speak with so many incredible members
00:05of the U.S. military and to wish all of you a very happy Thanksgiving. Before we begin,
00:11I want to express the anguish and the horror of our entire nation at the terrorist attack yesterday
00:16in our nation's capital, in which a savage monster gunned down two service members in the
00:23West Virginia National Guard, who were deployed as part of the D.C. task force, which has
00:29done such an incredible job. I mean, until yesterday, we literally had no incidents for
00:35many months. It was the safest place imaginable. And this is a different kind of crime. This is a
00:41really bad crime. Millions of Americans are praying for those heroes and their families. And I must
00:48unfortunately tell you that just seconds before I went on right now, I heard that Sarah Beckstrom
00:56of West Virginia, one of the guardsmen that we're talking about. Highly respected, young,
01:04magnificent person. Started service in June of 2023. Outstanding in every way. She's just passed away.
01:13She's no longer with us. She's looking down at us right now. Her parents are with her.
01:19It's just happened. She was savagely attacked. She's dead. She's not with us. Incredible person.
01:27Outstanding in every single way in every department. That's horrible. As you know, the other young man
01:37is fighting for his life. He's in very bad shape. He's fighting for his life. And hopefully
01:41we'll get better news with respect to him. And the monster that did this is also in serious condition.
01:54But we won't even talk about him. As you may know, DHS has confirmed that the suspect is an Afghan
02:01national flown here by the previous administration who was such a bad administration. And I have a picture
02:10of a plane. This is what it looked like when they came in. It was total bedlam. Do you remember that
02:17period of time? Total bedlam. People crammed onto the plane. And the toughest, meanest,
02:26most capable physically got on the plane. Not the people that we were looking for
02:31or that they wanted to bring in. Here's a picture for you. Just take a look at that plane.
02:35Standing on top of each other and sitting on top of each other. This is what we had under the Biden
02:41administration. That whole thing should have never, ever happened. They should have left from
02:46a different base. They should have left from Bagram, as you know. And it would have been a much
02:53different story. But they didn't do that. And this was a this was just a route, just a terrible
03:00situation. This heinous atrocity reminds us that we have no greater national security priority than
03:06ensuring that we have full control over the people that enter and remain in our country.
03:14For the most part, we don't want them. They come in illegally. They have a lot of problems.
03:21Their countries force them in because their countries are smart. They don't want them.
03:24Let's give them to the Americans to take care of. They come out of jails in many cases,
03:29mental institutions, their gang members, their drug dealers. We don't want them.
03:35Many of the service members on this call today are engaged in crucial aspects of that mission.
03:42And to each and every one of you, I just want to thank you so much.
03:46Incredible people. You make this sacrifice like few others understand. A lot of them don't even
03:53understand it. And you're keeping America safe and free. Our military is strong. My first term,
04:00I rebuilt our military, all aspects of our military. And in Afghanistan, we actually gave up a big chunk,
04:06but relatively as much as it seemed like it's small compared to what we bought and to what we have
04:12and to what we're buying. We're spending over a trillion dollars this year on our military.
04:17We have a military, the best in the world. We make the best equipment in the world.
04:21And we have the best people in the world. So joining us this evening are six units deployed
04:28across our hemisphere representing every branch of the United States Armed Forces. First,
04:34I want to thank the members of Army's legendary 101st Airborne Division. You know, I've heard about
04:41that since I was a little boy. The Screaming Eagles calling in from Fort Huachaca, Arizona. And you're
04:53led by Major General David Gardner, a real tough cookie and great general. I appreciate it, General
05:01Gardner. The 101st has done an outstanding job leading the task force, joint task force at our southern
05:07border. I mean, we have nobody coming in. They're not coming in. Under Biden, they were coming in by
05:13the millions. Now we have nobody coming in. We have a strong border. Nobody talks about it anymore.
05:19I'm not giving credit for anything, just like you guys are not giving credit for anything. We do the
05:23greatest job, but that's all right. They don't talk about the border anymore because you know why nobody
05:28comes in. We had nine months now where we had nobody coming in, zero. And this is being fed. This is the
05:37people that do this are they tend to be on the left. They'd love to say millions of people came
05:42in through Trump and they actually said nobody. Even I find that hard to believe, but they literally
05:47are saying nobody came in. And I hope people appreciate the job that you've done and the job
05:52that we've all done. But we're stopping the invasion of our country. We stopped it cold.
05:58And if you remember, Biden said, I need new legislation. I need new. You didn't need legislation.
06:02I didn't get legislation. What you needed was a new president. So with your help, we now have the
06:08most secure border in American history. It's the single most secure border in American history.
06:14So I just want to thank you. And the 101st, I want to thank you very much. The job you've done is
06:19amazing working with all of our great people. We also have the men and women of the U.S. Navy serving
06:25as part of the Iwo Jima Amphibious Ready Group under Captain Christopher Farraker.
06:31And they're on board the USS Iwo Jima in the Caribbean Sea working right by their side are
06:37members of the 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit led by Colonel Tom Trimble. Thank you very much. I think
06:45you wave to me because I can see you then. Let's see. Hey, you are handsome people. They're beautiful
06:50looking people. Thank you. Like Central Canada. I could put you in a movie right this second and
06:55the three of you and I think would have a top a top grossing movie. You don't have people like
07:02you in Hollywood. Part of the 22nd MEU is also serving in Puerto Rico. The 3rd Battalion,
07:096th Marines, Devil Dogs led by Major Ross Gilchrist. Where is Major? Where are you? Hello, Major.
07:18Another Central. Is everybody Central Casting? It's like they're all handsome, tough guys. I don't
07:25know what's going on here. But the Navy Marine Corps team is currently helping to defend our country,
07:31protect our interests and decimate, literally decimate terrorists. The job you've done is
07:36incredible. I also want to thank you for your amazing work to quickly deliver life-saving aid to
07:42Jamaica in the aftermath of the recent hurricane, which was devastating. Thank you very much.
07:47Appreciate it, Major and everybody. Appreciate it. Next up are the airmen serving with one of the
07:54most feared bomber forces in the world, the U.S. Air Force's 7th Bomb Wing at Dias Air Force Base in
08:02Texas under the auspices and leadership of Colonel Seth Spanier. Colonel, where are you, Colonel?
08:11Colonel? Colonel, let's see. Are you right there? Thank you, Colonel. All of you are backbone of
08:19America, and you really are the backbone of America's air power. And in recent weeks, you've been working
08:25to deter Venezuelan drug traffickers, of which there are many. Of course, there aren't too many coming in
08:30by sea anymore. You've probably noticed that. From sending their poisons into the United States,
08:36where they kill hundreds of thousands of people a year. But we're going to take care of that situation.
08:41We're already doing a lot. We've almost stopped. It's about 85 percent stopped by sea. You probably
08:47noticed that. People aren't wanting to be delivering by sea. And we'll be starting to stop them by land,
08:55also. The land is easier. But that's going to start very soon. We'd warn them, stop sending poison to
09:02our country. We also have the 18th Space Defense Squadron at Vandenberg Space Force Base in California,
09:10headed by Captain Ryan Weber. Captain, where are you, Captain? Thank you very much, Captain. Great job.
09:18Every day you maintain American dominance on the high frontier. You're the guardians of one of the
09:24most important domains we have to protect. And you make us very, very proud of the job you do,
09:29Captain. Thank you. Finally, we have the great men of the Coast Guard. And I have to tell you,
09:35there are a lot of women in the Coast Guard now, too. We're happy about that.
09:40United States Coast Guard aboard the Coast Guard Cutter, Forrest Rednor, with Lieutenant Commander
09:46Alexis Wilde. Alexis, where are you? Hi, Alexis. Alexis Wilde at the helm. And I'm told that just last
09:57month, the Forrest Rednor intercepted a boat with lots and lots of illegal aliens off the coast of
10:05California. It was loaded. And then turned them over to the Customs and Border Patrol. And they did it so
10:11professionally. The people were very, very impressed with the job you did, Commander. So thank you very
10:16much. It was a great job. And thank you for defending our maritime borders with skill and with pride in the
10:23job you do. Amazing. So I want to thank all of you again for your amazing service to our country. God bless
10:30our warriors. God bless our heroes from West Virginia National Guard. What a group. I love West Virginia.
10:37And I want to wish everybody a very happy Thanksgiving. We have a country that we could be very proud of. I was with
10:45the king of Saudi Arabia. And he said, you know, sir, last year you had a country that was a dead country. We thought
10:53it was dead. And now you have the hottest country anywhere in the world. And it's true. And we're going to be having
11:00close to 20 trillion dollars invested. That's record setting by 10 times. Nobody's ever had anything like it. We're building
11:07plants. We're building we're building factories, auto factories, AI plants, the whole thing with
11:14artificial intelligence. I don't know the word. I've never liked the word artificial. I don't know what
11:18artificial is. I think they ought to change the name. I've always said it's a lousy name to have
11:23artificial anything. But it's a big business. And we're building more. We're leading China by a lot.
11:29We're leading everybody by a lot. We make the best military equipment in the world. And they're ordering it
11:34numbers that nobody's ever seen before. But we're doing better than we've ever done before. We have
11:40the stock markets just hit for the 48th time and all time high during the nine months that I've been
11:45here a little more than nine months now. And so we have the hottest stock market ever. That's a big
11:51thing for 401ks and all of the millions of people with jobs and 401ks. Everybody participates in that.
11:58But it's 48 times in a little bit less than 10 months. 48 times we hit an all time high.
12:06And I think we're going to continue because when these factories that we're building
12:10from all over the world, they're coming because of tariffs, I think because of November 5th,
12:15the election result, but because of tariffs and we're taking in hundreds of billions of dollars like
12:21we've never done before. And some of that's going to go back in the form of a sort of dividend to our
12:28people. But much of it's going to go toward reducing debt. And what it really goes for and even better
12:34than the money we're taking in is the fact that nobody's attacking our companies and taking them
12:38out, stealing them like they've been for many years, because if they do that, they have to pay a
12:43tariff as they make products and sell them into our country. So we made deals with Japan. We made deals
12:49with South Korea. We made deals with the European Union, where they pay us hundreds of billions of
12:54dollars. And they participate. They're now building plants. Honda is building plants. And they're all
13:02every every car company from all over the world virtually is building plants now in the United States
13:07because they don't want to pay the tariffs. So there's never been anything quite like it. It's been
13:13amazing. So we're taking in think of it hundreds of billions. Next year, it'll be a trillion dollars or
13:18more. But we're taking in all this money at the same time protecting our country. And we're
13:24respected again. They actually respect us and they made the deals. I mean, they respect us, but they
13:29pay us. As an example, Japan, six hundred and fifty billion dollars. South Korea, three hundred and
13:36fifty billion dollars. European Union, nine hundred and fifty billion dollars. And they are building plants
13:43now in the United States because they don't want to pay tariffs. So this is one of the biggest things
13:48economically that's never happened. Nobody's ever seen anything like it. And over the next couple of
13:54years, I think we'll substantially be cutting and maybe cutting out completely. But we'll be cutting
13:59income tax could be almost completely cutting it because the money we're taking and it's going to be
14:05so large. And yet other countries who have been ripping us off for many, many years and many years
14:12they've just been ripping us to shreds. China would take in six hundred, seven hundred billion dollars a
14:19year, rebuild their military. And now we have a fair deal with China. We just met with presidency.
14:24We have a great relationship. We have a fair deal. We take it a lot of money in the form of tariffs.
14:29But so many, even our friends, I mean, European Union, they're our friends. Japan,
14:35they're our friends. South Korea is our friends. They're now paying us hundreds of billions of
14:40dollars. And they're also paying tariffs to come in. We're not paying tariffs to go in there,
14:44by the way. They're paying tariffs, but we're not. So that's a total reversal.
14:49But we are benefiting like like they used to benefit against us, but we're benefiting even more.
14:56So I just want to thank everybody for making all of this possible without you. Well, you know,
15:02we don't have any defense. And boy, do we have defense. We have the strongest military anywhere
15:06in the world. We make, as I said, the best equipment. But we have more importantly,
15:10we have the strongest military anywhere in the world. And you saw that with Iran, with those
15:16beautiful B-2 bombers. They totally obliterated the nuclear potential nuclear supply of Iran.
15:24And they did it in the dark of night with no moon, no light, no nothing. Early in the morning,
15:31they attacked. You couldn't see a thing. And every single bomb hit its mark. Every single bomb.
15:38The Atomic Energy Commission said it was total obliteration. Remember when some of the fake
15:44news tried to say, well, maybe it wasn't as bad. Well, it was much worse than anybody thought.
15:49And I want to thank those pilots and all of the mechanics and all of the people
15:53that serviced and worked on the B-2 bombers. We just ordered a lot more of them. And the reason
16:01we did is they were totally incredible, totally invisible. They were stealth. Nobody saw it. They
16:06knew they were coming, but they couldn't see them. And they dropped the bomb. And then one of the
16:10pilots, commander, said, skedaddle. Let's get the hell out of here.
16:15But they dropped those bombs and they loved doing it. They were so honored. They said to me when
16:21they came to the, I invited them all to the Oval Office, including the people that take care of
16:26the machines, because, you know, they flew 37 hours both ways, 37 hours. And there wasn't a sputter
16:31from an engine. There wasn't a broken screw. There wasn't a problem. There wasn't a chipped piece of
16:38paint. It was a flawless mission. I want to thank General Raisin Kane for that and Pete
16:44Heggseth for that. But it was an unbelievable event. We have a country that's so respected again.
16:49But when the pilots came to see me and I gave them a medal, all of them, there were a lot of
16:55handsome people. They looked like Tom Cruise, actually. It was very good casting. But I like Tom
17:01Cruise, the last of our movie stars, probably. But although we're honoring Sylvester Stallone a
17:07little while at the Kennedy Center, so I'm going to put him in that same category. We have Sylvester
17:13Stallone and Tom Cruise. But I will tell you that they said for 22 years, sir, our predecessors and
17:21us wanted to make this attack. 22 years they wanted to make this attack. And they practiced it three
17:27times a year for 22 years. And no president gave them the approval to do it until you came along,
17:33sir. We want to thank you. I said, did you really enjoy it? They said, sir, we loved it. We loved it.
17:40And he's a brave man. These are from a different place than some of the people I know who aren't
17:46courageous. We have a lot of people that aren't courageous. These people were amazing in the job
17:50they did. So with that, I'm going to ask Lieutenant Colonel Charlie Rockwood, who's a highly respected
17:57young man, to speak to you. And if you have any questions, I'll answer them. Unlike Biden,
18:03he didn't take questions. But I take all the questions you want. You can ask me any damn
18:08question you want. And then we go and have a great Thanksgiving, because I don't know about you.
18:14You probably had your dinner already, but I didn't. And I don't know exactly what I'm going to have.
18:19Turkey. Okay. I believe it's turkey. So, Lieutenant Colonel, if you would, you take over. Go ahead.
18:27Yes, sir. We're going to pass it over to Major General David Gardner from the United States Army.
18:32Happy Thanksgiving, President Trump. This is Major General Dave Gardner, the commander of the 101st
18:39Airborne Division and your Joint Task Force Southern Border. I appreciate you saying I was tough.
18:44Everyone cheered. I assume that means they agreed with you. We are headquartered in Arizona. The
18:51service members with me today represent over 10,000 deployed along the 2,000 miles of our border from San
18:58Diego to the Gulf of America. We support Customs and Border Protection, U.S. Border Patrol. And as you
19:05said, Mr. President, illegal aliens entering our country is at a historic low, thanks to our collective
19:11efforts. On the screen behind me, you may be able to see some of the images of us patrolling,
19:17reinforcing the border wall. And we're doing that 24 hours a day, seven days a week, including today,
19:22Thanksgiving. Our soldiers, Marines, sailors, airmen, guardians, and Coast Guardsmen were able
19:30to have fantastic Thanksgiving meals and engage in traditional football games against each other.
19:36We're doing well. We all appreciate you taking some time from your family to speak with us today.
19:41And thank you for your support, Mr. President, and happy Thanksgiving.
19:45Well, David, thank you very much. And one thing you said in the question or statement, probably,
19:51I like a statement even better than a question, but I like that because you appreciate what we're
19:55all doing together with partners. But you said the Gulf of America. And there's a thing that for
20:02actually 350 years, 100 years older than us, Mexico, it was called Gulf of Mexico. And I would say to
20:10myself, why are we calling it Gulf of Mexico when we have 92 percent of the frontage and they have,
20:17I'm a real estate person at heart and they have eight percent. And I made that change. It was
20:23amazing. It took literally a matter of hours and it was done. And nobody even, very rarely did they
20:30complain. We beat AP, Associated Press, very badly in a lawsuit. You know, they tried to get it stopped
20:36because they're not good Americans. I mean, who would want that stopped? But we beat them. As you saw,
20:42we beat them very badly in a lawsuit. But other than that, I mean, we had no complaints and everybody's
20:47happy with it, except Mexico. I wouldn't say they're thrilled, but they'll get they'll get over
20:51it. But we now have the Gulf of America, David, the Gulf of America. Isn't that great? And I'm very proud
20:57of it every time I see it. And now it's spoken of routinely. I saw it before there was some event
21:01taking place down by Louisiana. And they said, we're here at the Gulf of America. They're just talking
21:07about it like routinely now. They're not saying like Gulf of America and smiling. It's just this
21:12routine. It's called now the Gulf of America. So I'm actually very glad you brought it up. That's
21:17another one of our many achievements. So thank you very much. Appreciate it. Yes, sir. Thank you,
21:23Mr. President. Great job. Please, sir. Before we go on, do you have any questions for the president?
21:33Yes, Mr. President, this is Sergeant Major Anderson. I do have one question, sir.
21:36Yes, sir. If you were to place a wager between the Army and Navy football game,
21:42who would you put your money on, sir? You know, David, I think you should duck him.
21:47That's a terrible question. That's how he'll get me in so much trouble. But I'll tell you what I
21:52will do. I'll be going. You know, you have one of those teams is having a spectacular year and one
21:57of them, they're both doing well. But I'll be at the game. And I'm going to let you know right after
22:02the game. Who's going to win? It's going to be a good game. And you're going to be watching it.
22:07I love it. That's a place where we get a lot of cheers when we go in. You know, we got we won
22:12the military vote in the largest number ever gotten by a president by far, despite the lies that they
22:19said about me. You know, they make up stories of lies and disgusting people. But we won the military
22:24by the biggest vote in the history of our election. So I like the military, but I like the Navy
22:30and I like the Army a lot. And I'm going to be at the game. And I don't know if you're going to be
22:36there. You're pretty far away. But we'll be thinking about, you know, I'll be thinking about
22:39that wise guy question you just asked me. Thank you very much. Thank you. All right, sir. With
22:44that, we're going to go over to Major Ross Gokris from the United States Marine Corps.
22:50Good evening, Mr. President. The Marines and sailors in this room from battalion landing team 3-6
22:55are ready, capable, and lethal to support readiness and lethality in support of Operation
23:01Southern Spear. We're here in Camp Santiago, Puerto Rico, conducting sustainment training.
23:06And recently, we conducted a mobile training team employing first-person view attack drones,
23:12conducting two day strikes, and the first ever three night strikes in the history of the
23:17Department of War. This represents a milestone in our combat lethality, increasing the capability
23:22of the Marine Corps and the Joint Service. Soon, we're going to prepare to support
23:28counter-narcotics operations in the ground, maritime, and air domains, and respond to crisis
23:34and contingency operations to provide you options, Mr. President, in support of national security
23:39objectives to protect the homeland. The Marines and sailors of BLT-3-6, the Hellhounds, are ready.
23:47We're the first to fight and at the tip of the spear as an expeditionary force in readiness.
23:51Thank you for your support, Mr. President.
23:54Semper Fidelis, happy Thanksgiving.
23:56Well, thank you, Ross. And you people are just amazing. You do a fantastic... I knew every move
24:01and every single thing you said. I know exactly what you did and who did it. And I want to just
24:05thank you. You were amazing. And Border Patrol and all of the people here, Border Patrol, every single
24:13one of them. These are great people. ICE, you know, ICE gets not the credit they deserve. They are
24:18unbelievable tough, smart, and they're unbelievable patriots. So, Ross, thank you very much. You
24:24really have done a great job. We appreciate it. We love working with you. Thank you.
24:28Thank you, Mr. President.
24:29Before we go over to the Navy, do you have any questions for the President?
24:31Good afternoon, sir. The only proper response to the colonel from Huachuca is,
24:38go Navy, beat Army.
24:40Okay. I've got to remember that. Thank you very much. They're going to have a great game. Thank
24:44you very much.
24:45All right, sir.
24:45Yes, sir.
24:46We're going to move over to Captain Chris Ferrecher from the United States Navy.
24:50Okay.
24:51Yes, sir. Sir, on board here, Iwo Jima, proud commander of the U.S. Iwo Jima Amphibious
24:57Radiance Group, along with the 22nd New Expeditionary. You already met my one brother from Central
25:01Casting, Colonel Tom Tremble. And my other brother is Colonel Rick Schroeder Haley.
25:06Behind me is a few of the men and women who comprise the 10,000 sailors and marines of our
25:14Iwo Arc team, who are currently conducting maritime patrols against Narcos in the Caribbean in
25:19defense of the homeland.
25:21Yes, sir. As you know, we have also, besides the missions that you know about, sir, we also
25:26reinforce the embassy in Haiti. We're getting engaged on a routine basis, but receiving
25:31fire from some of those gang members and returning fire, defending that embassy.
25:36We've also opened up operations down here in the South, conducting expeditionary advanced
25:42base operations at Roosevelt Roads, where Major Ross Gilcrease and the team are currently
25:48training. We've also done, as you mentioned, Mr. President, humanitarian support to Jamaica.
25:56We're proud to be part of this Navy Marine Corps team and be part of the defense of the
26:01homeland, sir.
26:02Thank you. Thank you very much. And really great job.
26:05Would anybody...
26:06Sir, I'd say for...
26:07Yes, go ahead, please.
26:08Sir, the First Lady came down to North Carolina last week and visited the Marines and Sailors
26:16at Camp Lejeune. And my wife and my daughter and my two sons were able to meet the First
26:21Lady and get a picture with her. She was truly gracious. And we really appreciate the time
26:25that she spent with the Marines and Sailors. That meant a whole lot to a whole lot of people
26:30down in North Carolina, sir.
26:31Well, thank you very much. And she had enjoyed it. And she mentioned that, meeting your family.
26:35And she said, those people are in good shape. They're in very good shape. I don't know if
26:39she's referring to me when she says that, because I don't know. That could be a little
26:43slight. But she was very impressed with everything she saw. Thank you very much.
26:48Sir, before we go to the Navy, Captain Ferrecker, do you guys have any questions for the President?
26:53I do have one selfish one, sir. My daughter's ninth birthday is here in a few days. I was wondering
26:58if I could get a happy birthday, Catherine, from you, sir.
27:01And her first name is?
27:03Catherine, sir.
27:04Well, Catherine, you have a father who's a great hero and a great man and highly respected.
27:09Happy birthday and take good care of him.
27:13Thank you, sir. Appreciate it.
27:15Say hello to her. Anybody back there have a question?
27:20I think that's it from us here, sir. Again, appreciate your time and happy Thanksgiving to
27:24you and your family.
27:25Thank you, sir.
27:25Thank you all very much. Great.
27:27Have a great Thanksgiving. Thank you.
27:29Sir, with that, we're going to go over to Colonel Seth Spanier from the United States Air Force.
27:34Happy Thanksgiving, Mr. President. I'm Colonel Seth Spanier, 7th Bomb Wing Commander.
27:41And here with me, I have Lieutenant Colonel Brian Guyette, our 28th Bomb Squadron Commander,
27:45and Major Joseph Spada, our 28th Bomber Generation Squadron Commander.
27:49And we're here representing the 4,000 men and women stationed at Dias Air Force Base in Texas,
27:56employing the mighty B-1.
27:58Good evening, sir.
28:00The Bomb Wing hosts multiple B-1 squadrons that are responsible for everything from training the world's best combat aviators
28:07to operational tests, in addition to projecting strength and lethality across the globe.
28:13Recently, the Bomb Wings Combat Squadron was forward deployed to the Indo-Pacific,
28:17and the men and women that you see behind me were part of the 28th Bomb Squadron and fellow squadrons
28:23that executed operations in the Caribbean.
28:29And we're responsible for demonstrating the latent combat capability of the training squadron,
28:35in addition to projecting credibility into the Caribbean, on behalf of the long-range strike platform, the B-1B.
28:46He's currently off-station at Nellis Air Force Base, Nevada.
28:51Thank you very much.
28:52And I don't know if you know, we have more planes on order in terms of dollars and planes itself,
28:58and they have a new one, the F-47.
29:01And I didn't name that.
29:02It was named F-47.
29:05They think I named it.
29:06I didn't.
29:06They surprised me.
29:07But I hear it's stage six, and it's at a level that nobody's ever seen before.
29:12But we have more planes on order right now and things in the works than we've ever had.
29:18So from the Air Force's standpoint, I know you know exactly what's on order because we dealt with you and what you like.
29:25But we've never had so many planes being built at one time, and we're reinvigorating everything.
29:33I know the F-35 has been very good, and we're working on some maintenance issues to get some of them back sooner, as you know.
29:42Some of them are out, and rather than having them sit there, we're getting them fixed.
29:46Should have happened a long time ago.
29:48But we've never been in the position where we've ordered so many, and I think the Air Force has to be very happy about that.
29:57Yes, sir.
29:58Absolutely.
29:59And if you have any questions, please go ahead from your group.
30:04Good evening, Mr. President, and happy Thanksgiving.
30:09I'm Senior Airman Laurent.
30:10I'm an intel analyst at the 28th Moss Squadron.
30:12My question for you today is, what is the most memorable obstacle or hardship that you've encountered in your life, and how did this shape you to be the leader you are today?
30:22Well, that's an interesting question.
30:25But I'll tell you, you know, in terms of obstacles, would be the weaponization of government by the previous administration.
30:34That was probably the biggest obstacle.
30:36I ran.
30:37I won by a lot.
30:37I ran a second time.
30:40I won by a lot.
30:41And I ran a third time, and it was too big to rig.
30:45But the biggest was that.
30:46They went after a lot of great Americans.
30:49I was one of them.
30:50And I would say weaponization by my opponent was a disgrace to our nation.
30:57And I would say it was the most difficult time.
31:00And we won.
31:01And now I'm, you know, today I'm in Florida.
31:04But generally I'm in the White House, I'm in the Oval Office, so I look around and say, oh, well, couldn't have been that bad.
31:10But it was.
31:10It was a disgrace to our nation.
31:12And it should never be allowed to happen again.
31:14And it's being looked at very strongly.
31:17But it's a very interesting question.
31:18I don't know that anybody's ever asked me the question that way.
31:21But if you did, I would say it's the it was the weaponization and illegal weaponization that they used where our government attacked the president and the former president of the United States of America.
31:36And I was fighting for you, not just for myself.
31:38I was fighting for you.
31:39I was fighting for everyone that I'm looking at, all of those incredible patriots that I'm looking at.
31:44But the millions of people that are listening right now and the hundreds of millions of people in our country.
31:50And we fought and we won.
31:52But they're bad people.
31:53So thank you.
31:54That's a great question.
31:55Thank you very much.
31:57Thank you, sir.
31:57Sir, one last one.
31:59If you could throw up chop to the Mohawks.
32:03That's our slogan motto.
32:04Chop.
32:04Oh, good.
32:05I love it.
32:06Chop.
32:07We're not allowed to do that anymore.
32:09You know, we're not allowed.
32:11You're not allowed to use the word Indian anymore.
32:13The only one that wants you to are the Indians.
32:15All right.
32:16I don't think you should ever change.
32:18I will never tell you to change.
32:19All right.
32:20It's great.
32:21And they're very proud of it, too, by the way.
32:23Thank you all very much.
32:25Sir, we're going to turn it over to Captain Ryan Weber from the Space Force.
32:28Okay.
32:30Good evening, Mr. President.
32:32My name is Captain Ryan Weber.
32:33And I'm the commander of the 18th Space Defense Combat Squadron.
32:37Today with me, I have Delta crew.
32:40They're working the holiday swing shift right now, which is led by Lieutenant Cunningham and Sergeant Jackson.
32:45We also have five orbital analysts with us today.
32:49Our mission here at the 18th is Space Domain Awareness, tracking everything to, in, and from space, whether that's a launch, satellite reentry, or maintaining the catalog of 48,000 objects in space.
33:03It's been a historical year for 2025.
33:06We've had over 273 space launches to this year, 174 of those being from the U.S.
33:15And we're just grateful for our newly operationally accepted system to lead the way for the world in space domain awareness.
33:22Well, I know all about it because that was my baby, Space Force.
33:27So I can't say I have any favorites because I don't want to do that.
33:31But I'll tell you, I have a real love for Space Force.
33:35And as you know, I did that.
33:37We put some very good people in because we were losing to China and Russia substantially.
33:43And now we're leading China and Russia substantially.
33:47And as you know, Biden came and he wanted to terminate Space Force.
33:49He thought it was funny.
33:50He thought it was so funny.
33:52The military didn't think it was funny.
33:54And he was met with a great force.
33:56And the force said, you're not doing anything.
33:58You're not doing this.
33:59But I think it's going to go down as one of our most important.
34:03You know, as technology goes, the things we're doing now in space are unbelievable.
34:09And I think it'll be one of the truly great things that this administration did.
34:13I did it in my last term.
34:14But we really had great people there.
34:17And we're dominating space now.
34:19We're dominating it.
34:20We were losing it to both China and Russia at the time.
34:23We had no Space Force.
34:25And so we created this incredible group of people.
34:29They came together and they created something very special.
34:32And I'm very proud of all of you for being involved.
34:36It's going to be one of the most important things I think that I've ever done.
34:41Ryan, before we move on to the Coast Guard, does anybody from your team have a question
34:45for the president?
34:48The one question I would have, sir, is what do you see for the future for the Space Force?
34:52How do you expect it to grow as we build out as a branch?
34:56I just think it's unlimited.
34:58I think it's, you know, in terms of technology, in terms of, you know, the others have been
35:02here for a long time.
35:04And Air Force has been, and I could have left it in the Air Force, but I really thought it
35:09should have its own identity.
35:10And it works closely with the Air Force.
35:12But you wouldn't have had your own identity.
35:15And I don't think it was working doing it that way.
35:17So we created, because of the importance, we created Space Force.
35:21And I think it's got unlimited growth potential.
35:25And maybe at a faster level than others, because they have been here.
35:28You know, they've seeded and they're doing great.
35:30But you're a seedling.
35:33You know, you're just at the beginning of your powers.
35:37It's going to be unlimited future, really.
35:41I feel that.
35:41I think you agree with that.
35:43But it's going to be unlimited future.
35:45And thank you all for being involved.
35:46Very proud of you.
35:48Thank you, sir.
35:49You have the 18th.
35:50Thank you for your support.
35:51And happy Thanksgiving.
35:53Well, you have my support totally.
35:54And you too.
35:55Happy Thanksgiving.
35:56Thank you very much.
35:57So to round it out, we're going to go over to Lieutenant Commissioner
36:00Alexander Alex Wilde, United States Coast Guard.
36:05Good evening, Mr. President.
36:07Lieutenant Commander Alex Wilde, Commanding Officer of Coast Guard Cutter Force Red Nair.
36:11We're currently patrolling the southwest border off of the coast of California
36:15in support of Operation Border Trident to protect the maritime boundary.
36:19With the crew of 25, our fast response cutter has contributed to mission success
36:23in securing the border, as you mentioned.
36:26Last month alone, we had three at-sea interdictions
36:28and apprehended 45 illegal aliens.
36:31I'd like to recognize, to my right, the boarding team and pursuit team
36:35from our most recent interdiction.
36:37To my right, Lieutenant Junior Grade Fuller.
36:40Post-in-mate First Class Garcia Cosby.
36:43Electrician's mate First Class Eraser.
36:46Post-in-mate Third Class Gerhards.
36:48Machinery technician Second Class Simano.
36:50We've had a real nice day, as you said.
36:54It's been pretty quiet on the water, to be honest.
36:57Our two culinary specialists gave us a real treat today for Thanksgiving
37:00by smoking two turkeys.
37:02And this evening, we'll be trying to have some trivia here on the Mustang.
37:06We're truly grateful for this opportunity to speak with you today.
37:08Thank you very much.
37:11You know, I've loved the Coast Guard for a long time.
37:14And more than anything else, all the lives you saved in Texas and various places,
37:19all of these places that got hit by the hurricanes and all of the different,
37:24you know, the storms, the big storms, the big water storms, as they call them,
37:28but mostly hurricanes.
37:29The jobs you do, the way you go into those seas, I wouldn't want to do it.
37:33You want to do it, but I wouldn't want to do it.
37:35And I just want to thank you for that.
37:38As you know, we've ordered a lot of Coast Guard cutters,
37:40brand new, beautiful, the best machines in the world,
37:43the fastest, the best, the best maneuverability, they tell me.
37:46I said, how's the speed and the maneuverability?
37:50I'm a looks person.
37:51I wanted the hull to be perfect.
37:53You know, I sort of redesigned the hull a little bit, the hulls.
37:56But we ordered a lot.
37:58And we're ordering icebreakers, too, that you're going to be in charge of.
38:02We have 11 of them being built right now.
38:05We had none.
38:06You know, we only have one in the whole country.
38:08Russia has 48, and we have one.
38:12And that's just ridiculous.
38:14So we're doing them in conjunction with Finland and some other people.
38:19And they make the big, you know, they're known as the people that do,
38:23I guess, 90 percent of the icebreakers, so they have a great expertise.
38:26But we're doing them also as a joint venture, where they're going to be built in this country.
38:30And they've already started.
38:32So we've ordered 11.
38:35You are going to build one.
38:36And the one was going to cost almost as much as the 11.
38:40And every one of the 11 is much better than the one.
38:44So that didn't sound like a good deal.
38:46So you know exactly what you're getting.
38:47You're getting the best icebreakers in the world, the top of the line.
38:51And they're going to be delivered very soon, actually.
38:53They're moving along very quickly.
38:54They're already, they're building them.
38:57And you'll end up with 11.
38:58But before we even start that, we're going to end up doing another 11 pretty soon.
39:03So you're going to have a lot of icebreakers pretty soon, which is very important.
39:05I assume, is that important for the Coast Guard?
39:08Because if it's not, I'll cancel the order immediately.
39:11Very important.
39:12Okay, good.
39:13Then I won't cancel the order.
39:15That's good.
39:15You're going to have the best icebreakers there are.
39:18So it's really great.
39:19Very important to us.
39:20Any other questions?
39:23Yes, Mr. President.
39:24Yes.
39:24I'm Petey Al-Fariza.
39:26First question is, what is your true golf handicap, not according to fake news?
39:31And are you and President Biden going to play that golf match?
39:35I'd love to.
39:36I mean, I've invited him, but he doesn't want to show up.
39:39Look, I know a lot about golf.
39:42I've won 38 club championships.
39:44And I don't get to practice much.
39:46I won one last year.
39:47I won a club championship at a big club, beating a 27-year-old kid.
39:51I said, you know, I'm decades older than you.
39:55But I said, the fairway doesn't know how old you are as you walk up the middle and he's
39:59in the rough.
39:59And I've been a good golfer over the years.
40:03When you win, you know, club championships are our majors.
40:06You know that.
40:06Most people can't play in them.
40:08They won't.
40:08We're talking about no strokes or anything else.
40:10So I'm a very low handicap.
40:12And I've won 38 of them legitimately, everyone legitimately.
40:17It has to be legitimate because you have a lot of people following you during club championships,
40:21as you know.
40:22So I guess I'm very, I got to be right around scratch or better.
40:27I beat a plus three.
40:29That's three better, three below par.
40:31You know, if you look at it, for those that don't know, in the finals of the club championship
40:35last year with all I was going through and with no practice.
40:40So I'm a good golfer.
40:42Yeah, I would have to say that.
40:43I want to be honest.
40:44I have to be honest.
40:45I played with Bryson DeCherbeau on his show, you know, the Breaking 50.
40:50And we had a good time.
40:52But a lot of people thought that was a great ratings hit.
40:57And we had a lot of fun.
40:58But golf is great.
41:00It's sort of a microcosm of life.
41:03And you have a lot of people talk, but they can't play like Biden.
41:07Biden can't hit a ball 30 yards, I'm telling you.
41:09I looked at his swing.
41:11He cannot hit a ball 30 yards.
41:13He said he was a six handicap.
41:15He said that was the only thing that made me angry during the debate with him.
41:18He said he was a six.
41:20I said, you're not a six.
41:21And he said, well, I'm an eight.
41:22I said, that was quick.
41:23I picked up two.
41:24But he's not a hundred.
41:26He's not a hundred.
41:27So, but it's a great game.
41:30And I hope you guys get to play a little bit of it.
41:32But frankly, I'm more excited about the icebreakers, if you want to know the truth.
41:36So, anyway, I want to thank you all.
41:38Great job.
41:39Coast Guard, great job.
41:40We're proud of you.
41:41You're going to have the best equipment in the world.
41:43And it's coming rapidly.
41:44Thank you very much.
41:46Thank you for your support, President.
41:47So, that concludes the presentations.
41:49If you have any closing remarks, that'll be it.
41:52Well, I do have closing remarks.
41:53I just want to say how proud I am.
41:55You look at the people that we just dealt with.
41:57These are the top people in our country.
41:59These are just beautiful people inside and out.
42:02They're brave.
42:03They're smart.
42:04They're brilliant.
42:05And I just want to say it's an honor to be with you.
42:08It's an honor to be working with you.
42:09We have the strongest country we've ever had.
42:11We make the best equipment in the world.
42:14We have the best military in the world.
42:16Nobody can even come close.
42:17And everybody knows it.
42:18And they respect us now again.
42:20A year ago, two years ago, four years ago, three years ago, they didn't respect us at all.
42:25They laughed at us.
42:26Nobody's laughing anymore.
42:28So, I just want to thank you all very much.
42:30I'm very proud of you.
42:37Thank you very much.
42:38Okay.
42:40We can cut that then.
42:42We can cut that.
42:44Hello.
42:45Good to see you.
42:46Thank you so much.
42:47Happy Thanksgiving.
42:48A question about this tragic shooting in Washington, D.C.
42:52U.S. officials say that the suspect worked very closely with the CIA in Afghanistan for years.
42:59But he was vetted.
43:00And the vetting came up clean.
43:02He went cuckoo.
43:03I mean, he went nuts.
43:05And that happens, too.
43:06It happens too often with these people.
43:07Do you see him?
43:09But, look, this is how they come in.
43:11This is how they're standing on top of each other.
43:14That's an airplane.
43:16There was no vetting or anything.
43:17They came in unvetted.
43:19And we have a lot of others in this country.
43:20We're going to get them out.
43:21But they go cuckoo.
43:23Something happens to them.
43:24Your DOJ IG just reported this year that there was thorough vetting by DHS and by the FBI of these Afghans who were brought into the U.S.
43:34So why do you blame the Biden administration?
43:37Because they let them in.
43:38Are you stupid?
43:39Are you a stupid person?
43:41Because they came in on a plane along with thousands of other people that shouldn't be here.
43:46And you're just asking questions because you're a stupid person.
43:50And there's a law passed that it's almost impossible not to get them out.
43:55You can't get them out once they come in.
43:57And they came in.
43:59And they were unvetted.
44:00They were unchecked.
44:01There were many of them.
44:02And they came in on big planes.
44:04And it was disgraceful.
44:06And if you look, you'll see there was a law passed.
44:08It makes it almost impossible not to let them in, not to certify them, so to speak, once they come in.
44:15And they came in.
44:16And they shouldn't have come in.
44:18And frankly, the whole thing was a mess.
44:20The whole Afghanistan situation was a mess.
44:23It should have never taken place.
44:25If we're going to go out, and we would have gone out because I had everybody ready to go.
44:29We were going to go out with strength and dignity and precision.
44:32And we would have left from Bagram.
44:34And we would have kept Bagram, by the way, because of its very close relationship to China and where they make their missiles.
44:41But when you let the people come in by the thousands and thousands and thousands, they made a terrible mistake.
44:48But they were incompetent.
44:49Yeah.
44:49Yeah, Mr. President, thank you for having us for tonight.
44:51Have you spoken with Sarah and Andrew's family?
44:54We have a call in in a little while, actually, right after this.
44:57Do you plan to...
44:58Well, the family is devastated, as you can imagine.
45:01But we have spoken.
45:04I mean, my people have spoken with the family.
45:06We'll be speaking tonight or tomorrow.
45:08You have to give them a little...
45:09They just found out about their daughter.
45:10You know, you can't just call two seconds later.
45:13Yeah, of course.
45:13It's a very, very tough situation.
45:15Obviously.
45:16She was so outstanding.
45:17I mean, I just heard outstanding in every single way.
45:21It's in the early stages, obviously.
45:22But do you plan to attend Sarah's funeral?
45:25I haven't thought about it yet, but it certainly is something I could conceive of.
45:29I love West Virginia.
45:31You know, I won West Virginia by one of the biggest margins of any president anywhere.
45:38And it's, you know, these are great people.
45:39I love the people of West Virginia.
45:41I love the people of our country.
45:43But I haven't given it any thought.
45:46But it sounds like something I could do.
45:47Yeah.
45:48It's very raw.
45:49Yeah, of course.
45:50The suspect does have a wife and five children who live in Washington.
45:55Do you plan to deport them?
45:57The suspect has?
45:58The suspect?
45:59Well, we're looking at that right now.
46:01We're looking at the whole situation with family.
46:04It's a tragic situation.
46:06Yeah, Jeff?
46:06Mr. President, are there any changes you want to make to improve safety for National Guardsmen
46:12who are being sent into these cities?
46:14No, just I want to have more.
46:16As you know, we're sending 500 more.
46:19We had very little crime in Washington now for, you know, many months.
46:23Record-setting low crime.
46:24And this happened.
46:26And I don't know how you put this on the scale of that.
46:29This is sort of different.
46:30This is a terrorism threat.
46:32And this was done because they're so effective.
46:34If they weren't effective, you probably wouldn't have had this done.
46:37But this was done because the National Guard has been so effective.
46:42You know, you went from having a tremendous amount of crime and death, killing, everything
46:46else, to having none.
46:48And this happened, I assume, because it was so effective.
46:52And maybe this man was upset because he couldn't practice crime.
46:57Who knows what his motivation was?
46:59But what he did was horrible.
47:02And you've made changes for Afghani's ability to apply for asylum.
47:08Do you blame all Afghans for this one man to not escape?
47:11No, but we've had a lot of problems with Afghans because they had a lot of them coming in on
47:15these planes.
47:16Again, I show you this picture.
47:18We had a lot of them coming in on these planes that are, look at them.
47:22There was no checking.
47:23They just poured into the plane.
47:26And many of these people are criminals.
47:28Many of these people are people that shouldn't be here.
47:31And many of them have been gotten out.
47:33I mean, we've gotten out some, a lot of the people that, you know, we've taken a lot of
47:36matter here.
47:38But they came in.
47:40Yeah, I know.
47:40This is the old story.
47:41Many are wonderful.
47:42Yeah, I'm sure.
47:42I said many are here legally, though.
47:44What should they think?
47:46Well, they can't be happy.
47:48OK, they can't be happy.
47:49Because what's taking place between that, if you look at Somalia, they're taking over
47:55Minnesota.
47:56And they are, we've got a lot of problems with the gangs, with all of the things taking
48:01place in Minnesota.
48:02We have an incompetent governor, a dope.
48:05We have a dope governor.
48:07They can't be happy about what's going on.
48:10And if you talk about the Afghans, you know, there's a problem because so many bad ones
48:15came in on the planes.
48:16They just walked in, whoever the strongest people were physically in a way, but whoever
48:21the strongest, they got on the planes.
48:23There was no checking.
48:24They just swamped the planes.
48:26They took off.
48:27We had no idea who they were.
48:29Yeah, do you want to ask a question behind?
48:32Me?
48:33Hi, sir.
48:34Sure.
48:35Hi.
48:35What do the Somalians have to do with this Afghan guy who shot the national?
48:39Nothing, but Somalians have caused a lot of trouble.
48:41They're ripping us off for a lot of money.
48:43There's a tremendous amount of money going back to Somalia.
48:47What the hell are we paying money to Somalia for?
48:50But they're ripping off our country at a level that few people have been able to see before.
48:56That's about the only thing.
48:57You talk about competence.
48:58We have Ilhan Omar, who does nothing but complain about our country and our constitution.
49:04And she comes from a country with practically, it's practically no country.
49:10It's devastated.
49:11It's crime ridden.
49:12It's a mess.
49:12It's a disgrace.
49:14And we took their people at a tremendous amount.
49:18We're not taking their people anymore.
49:20We're not taking their people.
49:21And we're getting a lot of their people out because they're nothing but trouble.
49:24Okay.
49:24Thank you very much, everybody.
49:26Go ahead.
49:26I have a question about this asylum claim that is being floated.
49:29Of course, you just detailed that this suspect was flown in under the Biden administration.
49:34Yeah.
49:35But was he granted asylum under your administration?
49:38When it comes to asylum, when they're flown in, it's very hard to get them out.
49:41No matter how you want to do it, it's very hard to get them out.
49:44But we're going to be getting them all out now.
49:46Thank you very much.
49:48Thank you, Mr. President.
49:48Thank you, sir.
49:50Here, take that picture if you want to press.
49:52Mr. President, what are you most thankful for?
49:54The fact that America is great again.
49:59We've made America great again.
50:01America was a dead country.
50:02We've made America great again.
50:04Here you go.
50:06Thank you, Mr. President.
50:06Have a great day.
