00:00This is a big game. There's no denying that. He has a chance to, I think, erase that narrative
00:05around this program being soft. They're not physical. They've done that playing physical
00:08coach the last three games. Now you got to go on the road and do it again. This is a playoff
00:12game for USC. Goosebumps it gave you, by the way. I did. Biggest game of his USC career,
00:18never beat a top 10 team. And when you really start, they're playing USC, I'm talking about,
00:23the best football I've seen under the Lincoln Riley era. Why? They're being physical. You look
00:28at what they did against the Wolverines. They pushed them all over the field on offense and
00:34on defense. They do that. USC is going to go to the college football playoff. I think they
00:38can beat Oregon. However, is it another rinse and repeat, Matt, where like they did against
00:43Notre Dame, against Illinois, where they could beat up. Take a look at the difference between
00:46team A and team B. Team A against the Wolverines. On the offensive line, they knock them off the
00:52ball on defense. They controlled the line of scrimmage the entire day against a good Wolverine
00:57offensive line. But then team B shows up here, Brady, against the Fighting Irish.
01:02That's right. And it was a bad day for USC. I mean, the Fighting Irish is just a more physical
01:06team than Michigan. So it goes without saying. Again, Matt, this is the biggest game in USC,
01:12Rylan. He's not even listening to you. Lincoln Riley's career. It is. At USC.
01:17Listen, it's a huge game, huge game in the Big Ten. We don't need those shots. I honestly don't
01:21know what's going to happen. I do not think it's necessarily an elimination game. I think if
01:25USC wins, they're a playoff team. I think if there's a tight game, Oregon's a playoff
01:30team. And you're going to be sitting there at the end of the season in this great conference
01:34of ours, the Big Ten, with five teams in the playoff.
01:37Wait, whoa, whoa. Five teams?
01:39Five teams. Five teams. You have Oregon, USC, we just said. Ohio State, clearly Indiana.
01:45And when Michigan beats Ohio State, that's an automatic win.
01:48Stop.
01:48We're still doing this. That's an automatic win. When we win out, Michigan's in. There's
01:52five. Who doesn't go?
01:54As my kids would say, bruh, bruh, bruh, get it wrong, bruh.
01:57His math is not wrong, though. If, it's a big if, it's a big if, if it happens in the
02:01Big House next Saturday.
02:02Well, it's happened the last six years, bro.
02:03We take a look now at Oklahoma QB, John Matier, prepping to take on number 22, Missouri.
02:07And listen, the last couple of weeks, John Matier starting to look like the guy who was
02:11going to win the Heisman early on in the campaign.
02:13He has. He had the thumb injury earlier in the season, and it obviously has plagued his
02:17ability to throw in the football, but he looks like he's getting more comfortable doing it,
02:21taking off running, too. But let's not forget in this matchup, Oklahoma's got the number
02:24three rush defense in the country, the best defense in the SEC. Red Venables knows what
02:28he's doing. He knows how to stop this Mizzou attack. And the last time Missouri won in
02:32Norman, coach was two years old. So it's been a little bit of a while.
02:36That was a long time ago.
02:37I'm trying to add that up.
02:38All right. When you look at the calendar, Dave, and you're five days out from Thanksgiving,
02:42you're not thinking family, you're not thinking travel, you're thinking, oh, here comes the
02:47SEC schedule, right?
02:49Yeah. And here's the thing about the SEC in this time of year, right? What we want is
02:53great football. It's the end of the year. Can we bring these over here? Thank you for
02:57this update. What we have is a nice plate of cupcakes here. And nobody at this time of
03:02year wants to turn on the TV and see Mercer playing Auburn, seeing Sanford playing A&M,
03:0850-point favorites, 40-point favorites. It's Cupcake City. And the SEC is disgusting. And
03:15when you start looking at the playoffs and who's getting, who's getting, Alabama, I don't
03:20even know who they're, they're playing teams that couldn't feel the high school team. I
03:24hate it. It's disgusting. Thankfully, it's the last year this is happening. But for Cupcake
03:30City, remember it when it comes playoff selection time. Who took the weeks off at the end? And who's
03:36going to big, bad Maryland? Keep that in mind at the end of the season. Cupcake City, get
03:41rid of it. Cupcake City, everybody does.
03:43You know Mark's about to get in there. I'm taking the cupcakes away, Mark.
03:47We're playing five teams. We're playing Maryland. They're in the Big Ten.
03:52Well, you play five ranked teams. Who are you guys playing today?
03:55Who are you playing today? It doesn't even matter.
03:56Oh, it matters, Mark. We deserve it.
03:58No cupcakes.
03:58You're talking about load management.
04:00No cupcakes.
04:02Eastern Illinois.
04:03Eastern Illinois.
04:04Oh, big, big power program.
04:05Yeah, five ranked teams, man. We need a little break. We need a break. We need a break.
04:08You have to eat a lot of porterhouse to get to the cupcake season.
04:11Listen, listen, right?
04:13Ohio State right now.
