00:00Several minor incidents were reported across Negeri Sembilan following continuous rain and strong winds since Thursday, brought by Tropical Storm Senyar.
00:10The Fire and Rescue Department said at least one minor landslide and two cases of uprooted trees were recorded.
00:17In Seremban, a landslip occurred at Taman Berlian around 4 a.m., affecting two houses.
00:24Six residents have been asked to evacuate, with no injuries reported as authorities continue to monitor the situation.
00:31Separately, strong winds also caused several trees to fall in different locations, including one incident involving a motorcyclist who was injured and taken to hospital, and another where a parked vehicle was damaged.
00:45According to the Malaysian Meteorological Department, or MET Malaysia, Tropical Storm Senyar has weakened into a low-pressure weather system after making landfall along the Selangor Negeri Sembilan coastline around midnight.
00:59MET Malaysia Director-General Dr Mohamad Hisham Mohamad Anip said on Friday that the system is now located in the central region of peninsular Malaysia and is expected to continue moving eastward towards the South China Sea.
01:13MET Malaysia added that it is closely monitoring the situation and will issue updated information or weather warnings should there be significant changes.
