00:00Oh yeah, my kids did see it.
00:01My kids loved it.
00:02They flipped out for it.
00:04My seven-year-old I think is a little bit in love with Walker, which is a little concerning
00:08already.
00:09Chloe, how are you?
00:12I'm good.
00:13I'm good.
00:14How does it feel to be back in Canadian Soul?
00:15Oh, it feels really good to be back.
00:17It really does, though.
00:18Like, just like flying here.
00:19I was like, oh, that's nice.
00:20That's not work.
00:21I can do this.
00:22This is good.
00:23Yeah.
00:24It's a nice gentle carpet.
00:25I know it's like my first in a very long time, so please be kind.
00:27I know you're known for me.
00:28Please be kind to me, too.
00:29I'm not as versed at this, either.
00:31I've also been Zooming everywhere, so.
00:33I know.
00:34We're wearing bottoms today, so I'm proud of us.
00:35I know.
00:36Me, too.
00:37I went the whole nine yards, right?
00:38No onesie for me.
00:39Okay, The Adam Project.
00:40I love a good, feel-good movie.
00:42Thank you for that.
00:43It made my heart happy.
00:44But it got me thinking, what would The Ryan Project be about?
00:47Wow.
00:48The Ryan Project.
00:49Yeah.
00:50Oh, my God.
00:51Like, if it just could be the most indulgent thing in the whole wide world.
00:54Oh, man.
00:55I would say eight and a half hours sleep.
00:58Mmm.
00:59That would be The Ryan Project.
01:01That would be scintillating to watch.
01:03Yeah.
01:04I can't wait.
01:05I know medically induced comas are generally frowned upon in the sort of casual aspect, but
01:10that would also be kind of nice, just for a night.
01:12Yeah.
01:13Take it.
01:14I want that for you.
01:15Sure.
01:16Okay, if you could go back in time, visit your 12-year-old self.
01:18What piece of advice would you have for little Ryan?
01:21Oh, boy, that little bastard.
01:22I don't know if I would have a lot of advice for him.
01:25You know?
01:26It's...
01:27I want...
01:28He's gonna...
01:29There's gonna be some rocky roads ahead, and he needs those.
01:32It's kind of what we talk about in the movie.
01:34I mean, that's quite literally how it would be.
01:35It's like, you know, you gotta take your lumps, kid.
01:38Like, I'm not here to save you.
01:39I'm not here to tell you it's all gonna be okay.
01:41So I probably wouldn't do that with me.
01:42I'd probably leave myself hanging out.
01:43I'd probably, like, plant a seed of real uncertainty in his mind just to really screw with him.
01:48Like, oh, man, your 20s, 30s, 40s, and 50s, and 60s are gonna be horrible.
01:54But after that, you're dead.
01:55So...
01:56Then you get to sleep for as long as you want, right?
01:59Yeah, the dirt nap.
02:00Yeah.
02:01You know, speaking of your 12-year-old self, Walker.
02:03Phenomenal.
02:04Amazing kid.
02:05I mean, you lucked out.
02:06Yeah.
02:07Hardcore.
02:08You know what Deadpool monologue he did?
02:09Yeah.
02:10Like, what was it like to watch him play Mini-U?
02:12You know, it was a little, like, Uncanny Valley.
02:14It was kind of odd to see something so closely represented.
02:17He really did embody that perfectly, but that's for two reasons.
02:20One, he's an amazing actor.
02:21He's never done anything, which is weird.
02:23Never done a commercial.
02:24Never done a TV show.
02:25Nothing.
02:26He's in a high school play, or not even a high school, but an elementary school play.
02:29But he's an amazing actor, and he's an incredible mimic.
02:32So he can really, in Deadpool 2, he's watched it 60 times.
02:37So he has it memorized.
02:38So you can kind of feed him any line, and he understands cadence, and understands timing,
02:42and understands where to pause, and where to sort of have a moment.
02:45So he kind of gets irony at a young age, too.
02:47So he's a really special kid, and I think you're going to see him in a lot of stuff soon.
02:51You know, you mentioned Deadpool.
02:53Not super family-friendly.
02:54The Adam Project, however, to me, screams family-friendly.
02:57Is this one you'd watch with the kiddos?
02:59Oh, yeah.
03:00My kids did see it.
03:01My kids loved it.
03:02They flipped out for it.
03:04My seven-year-old, I think, is a little bit in love with Walker, which is a little concerning already.
03:08But, yeah, we watched it at home.
03:11It was amazing.
03:12We saw a rougher cut.
03:13Like, I was editing with Sean for months and months and months, so I'd come home with cuts
03:17and see how the kids responded and see how Blake responded.
03:21But, yeah, they loved it.
03:23They flipped out for it.
03:24They quote it all the time.
03:25Yeah.
03:26That's when you know.
03:27That's when you know.
03:28Yeah, you can get us some quoting in there.
03:29It's always a big win.
03:30Okay, well, I'm going to go watch it, quote it, and then I'm going to see if I can get popular
03:33with everyone in my life, too, okay?
03:34Please.
03:35Oh, my God, please, yes.
03:37Nice to see you.
03:38I don't know what to do.
03:39I'm awkward on the best of days.
03:41Now you do that.
03:42I know.
03:43I'm sweating.
03:44I'm so sorry.
03:45I don't know if that's...
03:46Cleansing fist bumps.
03:47Yeah.
03:48Cleansing fist bumps.
03:492022.
03:50Cleansing fist bumps.
03:51I'm so awkward and my hands are soaking wet.
03:53So that's fun.
