00:00I think I speak for all of us when I say it has been a sickening, shocking, awful experience,
00:06but has also been in a lot of ways a beautiful experience. Jimmy Kimmel breaks down while
00:12addressing the tragic LA wildfires that have been sweeping through the city. During his Monday night
00:17monologue, Kimmel addressed his late night audience and broke up in near tears several
00:21times while showing how close the wildfire was to their set on the major Los Angeles street
00:26of Hollywood Boulevard. Many of us had to leave our homes in a hurry. Some of our co-workers lost their
00:32homes. That's Hollywood. It's been terrible. He continued, and the truth is we don't even know
00:41if it's over. We had 100 mile per hour winds fueling this nightmare, and as of tonight, winds are back.
00:47Once again, we see our fellow men and women coming together to support each other. People who lost
00:55their own homes were volunteering in parking lots, helping others who lost theirs. Kimmel also took
01:00aim at president-elect Donald Trump and his response to the wildfires, which continue to blaze, and as
01:06of press time, have killed at least 24 people. The fact that they chose to attack our firefighters who
01:12apparently aren't white enough to be out there risking their lives on our behalf is, it's disgusting,
01:17but it's not surprising. ABC's Jimmy Kimmel Live resumed production on Monday. The talk show had halted
01:23production last week after the LA County fires first broke out on January 7th. More than a dozen LA-based
01:29shows had paused production due to the fires. For more on this story, head to THR.com. And for the
