00:00Kanye West had a lot to say in a recent interview with Forbes, most notably claiming he is done
00:05with Donald Trump and revealing he had contracted COVID-19 months ago.
00:09Although he was previously a diehard Donald Trump supporter, visiting the president at
00:13the White House and Trump Tower numerous times, and even telling GQ back in April that he would
00:18be voting for Trump in the upcoming election, Kanye is now claiming those days are over.
00:22I'm taking the red hat off with this interview. One of the main reasons I wore the red hat as
00:26a protest to the segregation of votes in the black community. Also, other than the fact that
00:31I like Trump hotels and the saxophones in the lobby. The billionaire musician and clothing
00:35designer also spoke to Forbes about his announcement last weekend that he was running for president,
00:40but fewer than four months before the election, noting that his 2020 declaration was not a stunt.
00:45As for his White House, West said the organizational model is based on the fictitious Marvel country
00:50of Wakanda from the film Black Panther, explaining, I'm going to use the framework of Wakanda right now
00:55because it's the best explanation of what our design group is going to feel like in the White
00:59House. That is a positive idea. One of the bigger shocks from the interview was West revealing he
01:04was severely ill with COVID-19 back in February. Chills, shaking in the bed, taking hot showers,
01:10looking at videos telling me what I'm supposed to do to get over it. I remember someone had told me
01:14Drake had the coronavirus and my response was, Drake can't be sicker than me. Still, even if there was
01:19a vaccine, West would not take it as he also revealed he's an anti-vaxxer, saying in part,
01:23so when they say the way we're going to fix COVID is with a vaccine, I'm extremely cautious.
01:28That's the mark of the beast. They want to put chips inside of us. They want us to do all kinds
01:32of things to make it where we can't cross the gates of heaven. For more on Kanye West's interview
