00:00Right, he's always got a thought.
00:02Yeah, mostly it's not surprising.
00:05The only bit that I'm really completely fox by is the EV mileage tax.
00:10I mean that's £300 a year on a £10,000
00:14which is 3p a mile on an EV, a mile and a half on a plug-in hybrid.
00:19And I don't understand those numbers either.
00:22I think that the limitation on the threshold at which taxes pay
00:27should at least reflect the amount that people can earn on their state pension.
00:34So it should never be taxed.
00:36The state pension should never be taxed.
00:38I think yet again it's clear that the budget is set out just to catch people out,
00:43to end up with people spending more money than they've actually got.
00:46And it's just typical isn't it?
00:48Coming up to Christmas we find out that we're going to be taxed more,
00:51lose money, electric cars, everybody pushes for them.
00:54get an electric car, save the planet and all of a sudden you get taxed on that as well.
