The siblings Emily and Zach have to accept the terrible loss of their mother. Furthermore, it is now up to Emily to look after her brother, who is paralyzed with spasticity. To do this, she buys an old house in a remote forest. The house, which is in a desolate state, is inspected by her, her husband Jesse and her two friends Woodrow and Michelle. The four of them begin to clear out the house and renovate it. In doing so, they notice the occult inscriptions. They learn that the previous owners of the house had suddenly abandoned it.
