00:00It did not taste like a creamsicle at all.
00:02I loved auditioning.
00:04I hated auditioning.
00:05Bit of a diva.
00:06Very much a diva.
00:07Do you like that?
00:08Yeah.
00:08I'll keep doing it.
00:09Important question first.
00:11Sydney, who was the better co-star,
00:13Ben or the little dog?
00:15That's easy.
00:16That's easy, Ben.
00:17Oh.
00:19No, no.
00:21I, of course, I love being able to work with animals.
00:25Dogs are my favorite.
00:26I feel like they always ground you in reality in a scene
00:28because you never know what's going to happen.
00:30But unfortunately, that dog did not want to be in any scene.
00:34That dog did not want to be there.
00:36And we would have to figure out ways around.
00:38Like, there were many scenes that the dog was supposed to be
00:40in that we had to take out because the dog just
00:44was in his own world.
00:46It's like the star of his own show.
00:47Bit of a diva.
00:48Very much a diva.
00:49Very much a diva.
00:50You went there.
00:50Wanted to stay in the hair and makeup trailer long.
00:53Never want to hit a mark.
00:55Didn't like being told what to do.
00:56Smoking and drinking.
00:57Yeah.
00:59The dog did not want to go.
01:01Such different looks for you, obviously.
01:05Both of you, I would say.
01:06What was it like seeing yourselves as Jim and Christy
01:11for the first time?
01:11We redid the cover of Sports Illustrated,
01:14of Christy's Sports Illustrated cover.
01:16And so I had the wig.
01:17I put the contacts in for the first time.
01:20Full costume.
01:21And we had her poster and we were replicating it.
01:24And they pulled up one of our shots on the computer
01:29and put her poster right next to it.
01:31And I was like, that was the first time.
01:33I was like, whoa.
01:34I've completely lost myself.
01:37Yeah.
01:37I've never seen you like that.
01:38Sydney, what was your least favorite part of training?
01:43The protein shakes were so gross.
01:47Oh, I had to like plug my nose and just chug.
01:50I would mix it with Gatorade.
01:52And then we would put like L-carnit and creatine and protein
01:56powder and all this stuff in it.
01:58And would shake it up.
01:59And they would try to convince me that if I put it
02:02in the orange Gatorade and I did the vanilla protein,
02:04that would be like a creamsicle.
02:06It did not taste like a creamsicle at all.
02:08That was difficult.
02:10And it got to a point where I was eating so much food
02:12that I could, I was like, I can't, I'm going to get sick.
02:15But I had to keep going.
02:16I think that was, that was the hardest part.
02:18That was it.
02:18Obviously, Christy, she found something that she was good at.
02:22Like when other people really doubted that she could have
02:25a career in it.
02:27I'm curious for both of you, because you've obviously,
02:29being an actor is an unconventional job.
02:32I would say in the same way.
02:34Can you remember that moment where you were like,
02:36oh, I'm really good at this.
02:37And like other people may not think this is a career,
02:39but I know I can do this.
02:41I don't know if I ever had the moment of,
02:43oh, I'm really good at this.
02:45I've had the moment of, oh, I love this.
02:49And I want to do this forever.
02:52And honestly, it was during auditioning.
02:55I loved auditioning.
02:56I hated auditioning.
02:58Really?
02:59It was making me nauseous.
03:01I was so terrified.
03:02Well, I'd be so scared too, but it was so fun trying
03:04all these different characters.
03:05I mean, I would get told no, like more often than not.
03:08But I still enjoyed like the constant prep.
03:13And because now we focus on one character for so long,
03:16but during the audition process, I mean,
03:17sometimes you have two, three auditions a day.
03:19Yes.
03:20And I mean, this was 10 years ago.
03:23I don't know what auditioning.
03:2430 years ago.
03:25But it was always so fun being able to like prep all these
03:30different characters.
03:31I loved it.
03:32Do you remember when yours was, Ben?
03:34I was doing a play.
03:35It wasn't, I'm really good at this.
03:37It was, it was, it was doing a play.
03:39It was, it was, and I kind of just checked out.
03:44And then I realized that it's back on stage and,
03:48and people seem to like it.
03:49And, and I think that was a real hit of drugs for me,
03:54was kind of a blackout.
03:57Uh, and people seem to like what happened.
04:00I was like, I have no idea whether you like that.
04:03Yeah, I'll keep doing it.
04:04Well, we're still liking it right now.
04:06Even now you guys are killing it in this one.
04:09Congratulations.
04:10Good luck.
04:11Lovely to meet you.
04:12Nice to meet you.
04:14Take care.
