00:00Please welcome your host, Fleur East.
00:30Hello and welcome to Tuesday's episode of It Takes Two on BBC Two and iPlayer.
00:35It's Tuesday and with the Blackpool glitter dust settling, so is our sugar rush from all those fairgrounds, sweets and sticks of rock.
00:43But because we think life can never be too sweet, we thought we'd provide a little more sugar for you if you fancy it.
00:48Yes please!
00:50Well since you are so nicely, let me start unwrapping all the eye candy we've got lined up for tonight's show.
00:55There was no skirting around this Paso, Karen and Carlos are here to talk drama, passion and whether the future of their next performance is looking as crystal clear as their last.
01:07They're still celebrating that seriously good performance.
01:11I'll be deep diving into Amber and Nikita's quick step and finding out whether they think this week's instant dance will keep them afloat or leave them in the deep end.
01:20Plus, nobody puts Joanne Clifton in a corner, unless it's to talk us through some choreography.
01:26It's Joanne Clifton!
01:30And we've got some exciting news for you.
01:32Not only will I be revealing this year's pro challenge step, but...
01:36Ho, ho, ho, ho, ho, ho!
01:38Santa's back with more Christmas celebs!
01:40Ho, ho, ho, ho, ho, ho!
01:41So stick around for the official announcement of who our fourth and fifth Strictly Christmas stars are.
01:47Ho, ho, ho, ho, ho, ho!
01:48Thanks, Santa!
01:50But first, there's no sugarcoating that passion in our next guest's performance.
01:55Karen and Carlos are here to talk about their passo, which Motzi said was so good,
01:59she didn't have a paddle that in any way could express how good that dance was.
02:03Oh, and if I'd known her, I would have let her this.
02:06Maybe next time.
02:10The drama, the choreography was brilliant, your execution was amazing, your timing, your intensity.
02:16No one will dance better than that.
02:17You are wonderful!
02:18I do not have a paddle that in any way can express how good that dance was.
02:27You nailed everything like a top-class professional, having never danced before.
02:32That is epic!
02:33It will go down in history!
02:36Please welcome Karen and Carlos!
02:423-10s, the highest ever Blackpool score for a footballer, and you've got Motzi and Shirley
02:47jumping to their feet during your dance.
02:50This is them at the end.
02:51Look at them!
02:52Wow!
02:53Wow!
02:54How would you get a chance to see this?
02:55I have not seen that.
02:56Could you have imagined a reaction like that in Blackpool?
03:00No.
03:01I literally...
03:02I looked at that and I was like, was that us?
03:05I still watch things and think, oh, we're in that show and that's us.
03:09So it's really strange to see it back, but it was unbelievable, loved every minute of it.
03:13Yeah, and it's not just you hitting some PBs.
03:15Carlos, this is your highest score in Blackpool.
03:18Yes!
03:19I'm buzzing!
03:20What do you think it was about this dance that made it click for you?
03:23I mean, it's everything.
03:26It's everything that we have in a moment.
03:29Costume, makeup, hair, you know, the actual dancers, the music, the band, the whole production
03:37of the dance, but also I think the most important essence is of the ballroom.
03:42The magic of the ballroom has really landed in that dance and I believe we both felt the
03:49magic of their ballroom and really helped us.
03:51That's the best run we've ever done.
03:53Oh, that's amazing.
03:55That's what you want.
03:56You want it to happen on the night.
03:57Exactly.
03:58We need to remind ourselves of this special moment with the fluorography and that spin.
04:02Yeah.
04:03Please.
04:04Let's take a look again.
04:05I mean, wow.
04:06I mean, wow.
04:07Look at that.
04:08I mean, how tough was it to get Kaz to make that look so effortless and be so precise?
04:12I mean, the amount of the times we practiced that floor spin, it's just countless and she
04:20had bruises on both sides of her legs.
04:22Wow.
04:23Yeah.
04:24It's an effort and we really worked, but also it's kind of easy for her to start.
04:27I just said, stop.
04:28She was like, okay.
04:29Were you pleased with how it turned out on the night?
04:33Oh, um, I mean, yeah, it couldn't have for us.
04:38Like Carla said, I actually made a few mistakes in the rehearsals.
04:41Oh, okay.
04:42So when that happened, I was like, whoa.
04:45But it, like Carla said, when you're in that magical ballroom, like, I did feel like we
04:51turned it on.
04:52I don't know.
04:53It was weird.
04:54I've never ever felt like that, but I literally was like, right, we're going to really go for
04:56it.
04:57That was the first time I failed to dance with a person who never danced before.
05:02But I had my full professional levels in that performances.
05:06I never felt it before.
05:07It was just magical for me.
05:08I got goosebumps myself after the dance.
05:12The reaction from the audience was incredible.
05:14It just, it was, yeah, it was really a beautiful moment.
05:18Shirley loved it.
05:19She said this Paso will go down in strictly history.
05:21It will.
05:22I mean, that's, that's high praise.
05:24Craig was the only one to give critique though, and a nine.
05:27Be honest.
05:28Were you gutted that you didn't pull out the ten?
05:29You know what?
05:30No.
05:31Secondly, I've always stood by it, and I'll always say this to Carlos, it's how we feel.
05:36Obviously the judges are there and we will take on their feedback and we've tried to every
05:41single week.
05:42But me and Carlos came off that and we knew we gave everything and we couldn't have done
05:46any better.
05:48And that's what's important to us.
05:50We can't control anything else, only what we do.
05:54And also, if we're ever given the chance where Craig ever puts up that ten, it will be so
05:59magical if we ever get that.
06:01So we'll work towards that and we'll take on his feedback.
06:04Yes.
06:05I love it.
06:06I love it.
06:07So we'll be doing it for this week.
06:08Or you'll be doing your couple's choice and you'll be dancing it to this.
06:13Lady Gaga, born this way.
06:17Now, as you mentioned at the weekend that with this dance, you just wanted to feel free.
06:22So with the couple's choice, are you really excited to be able to just let loose?
06:26Yeah, it's really cool because there's no rules and you can just do what you want within
06:30the framework.
06:31He keeps saying it's still framework.
06:34But there is an element where I can actually just do what I want, which is a little bit
06:38nerve-wracking and sure for Carlos.
06:40Probably that's how I feel with him most weeks, but yeah, I just get to do me and that's really
06:46cool.
06:47He's given me the chance to do that and Jack the choreographer.
06:49So yeah, it's awesome.
06:50Yeah, well, we heard that you haven't agreed yet on the style, so what are we going with
06:54now?
06:55After, you know, after long discussions, we decided to throw everything.
07:00Everything she loves, moves, you know, grooving, you know, street, commercial, pop, bricking,
07:06you know, everything.
07:07Wow.
07:08You know, everything.
07:09Let's see.
07:10Just have fun.
07:11Well, the song's all about self-acceptance, empowerment and celebrating diversity.
07:14You're working with Jake Lee on the choreography.
07:16How are you going to bring that message to life in the dance?
07:19Jake's just wonderful.
07:20He come to me with a great concept of this dance.
07:23We wanted this dance to be celebration.
07:25Yeah.
07:26We want this dance to have all of the contents that Karen feel comfortable with and can really,
07:31really to express it for herself in the best way she can.
07:34So, and today, the second day of the rehearsal, it did come across alive and you can tell she's
07:40loving it.
07:41And there's, like she said, no rules, no heels.
07:44She's, yeah.
07:45Yes.
07:46What does the message of the song mean to you?
07:48Um, the reason why we actually picked it was the first line is, um, my mama told me when
07:54we were young, we were all born superstars, but I told my mum that when I was 11, I was
08:00going to play for England.
08:02Um, she said to me, we've all, there's so many barriers out there.
08:06She, all she said to me was, if you want something, work hard for it and go after it.
08:12And Carlos absolutely adores his mum and your mum, so it's very personal for both of us,
08:18for our mums.
08:19Our mums have encouraged Carlos to be the amazing dancer he is.
08:23And my mum has pushed me to become a footballer.
08:27And I believe that I was born to play football and he was born to dance.
08:32So we're born this week.
08:34Aww.
08:35That's a lovely, lovely story.
08:36I love that.
08:37We also have to talk about this week's Instant Dance Challenge.
08:40Let's not, let's not.
08:42Well, aside from your concerns about Carlos, uh, how are you feeling about this?
08:47What was going through your mind when you were told about this challenge?
08:50Um, panic.
08:51Um, still panic and anxiety, but I, I trust this guy.
08:57So I know whatever he tells me to do or whatever he wants to do or whatever he does,
09:02I'll just be, I'll be led by him, I'll be guided by him and I'll just go with it with him.
09:06Amazing.
09:07Well, good luck in training.
09:09It's Karen and Carlos.
09:10Now, we all know about bar charts and pie charts, but there's one chart we look forward to every single week.
09:20It's time to get the low down on all the songs our couples will be dancing to in Top of the Bops.
09:25Welcome to the official It Takes Two chart show countdown.
09:36Yay!
09:37I managed to catch the results show.
09:38Here are the songs our couples will be dancing to this Saturday.
09:41So in no particular order, here's this week's Top of the Bops.
09:46Climbing back to six, George and Alexis will be dancing A Quick Step to Get a Kick Out of You by Frank Sinatra.
09:53Hopefully the judges will get a kick out of this one.
09:56At five, Balvinda and Julian will be jiving to Right Back Where We Started From by Maxine Nightingale.
10:02So let's see if this track helps them get right back where they belong in the competition.
10:07A non-mover at four, Lewis and Katya will be performing a rumba to Falling by Harry Styles.
10:13But Lewis will be hoping for no falls this weekend.
10:16Now the moment you've all been waiting for, it's the top three.
10:20Again, in no particular order.
10:22Straight in at number three, Alex and Johannes will be dancing a cha-cha-cha to this.
10:27That's Ring My Bell by Anita Ward, released in 1979.
10:33It spent two weeks at number one.
10:35They'll be hoping they can ring in some magic and cha-cha charm us this weekend.
10:39At number two, we just heard from them.
10:42Karen and Carlos will be performing their couple's choice to this.
10:46That's Lady Gaga's track, Born This Way.
10:50Known for her reinventions, this routine promises to be Gaga-level iconic.
10:55Let's hope they can defeat Craig's poker face this weekend.
10:58And at number one, Amber and Nikita are jiving to this.
11:05That's Proud Mary by Tina Turner.
11:07Former Strictly celeb Alexandra Burke earned a perfect 40 for her jive in the final to this track back in 2017.
11:14Amber and Nikita will be hoping they make themselves proud with this one.
11:18And that's it for this week's official Strictly top of the box.
11:21Next up, before we announce our next Christmas celebs, our pros have been warming up for something else.
11:30Ready to take on a step that took TikTok by storm and battle it out for a Guinness World Record title.
11:35Yes, you guessed it.
11:36Tomorrow sees the return of...
11:38The Pro Challenge.
11:40Here's a little teaser.
11:42The Strictly Pro Challenge is back.
11:47Our professional dancers are attempting to set a world record for the most samba whisks.
11:54Performed in 30 seconds.
11:56Let's go!
11:57This year, I'm on the panel.
12:00And I'll be keeping a close watch on our dancers' technique.
12:05No!
12:06This heart's done!
12:07I lost it!
12:09Ah!
12:10Only one pro can be victorious.
12:13Ah!
12:14I've got this.
12:15World record, I'm coming for you.
12:17Let's go!
12:18Bring it on.
12:19Welcome to the Strictly Pro Challenge 2025.
12:24Let's go!
12:25Oh, it looks good.
12:28Now...
12:29Oh, you guys, you know what that sound means.
12:33It's time to announce more celebrities taking part in this year's Christmas special.
12:38But first, let's recap on all the cracking celebs we have so far.
12:43Our first festive reveal was presenter and former queen of the jungle, Scarlet Muffet.
12:48She'll be dancing with Vito.
12:50Next out of the Strictly stocking was Menelie Blatt.
12:54We'll be dancing with Kai.
12:56And finally, we unwrapped Jodie Owensley, a.k.a. Fury from Gladiators.
13:00We'll be dancing with Neil.
13:02So, who else is about to jingle all the way onto our Christmas Day dance floor?
13:06Let's find out.
13:07What's going on, people?
13:09It's me, Baba Tunde Aleshay here.
13:11I'm here to tell you that I am taking part in this year's Christmas special of Strictly Come Dancing.
13:18That's right!
13:19I'm here to shake a leg and show you how it's done.
13:23That's right.
13:24All you've got to do is two-step.
13:25Just here.
13:26Bow.
13:27Oh!
13:28You see that?
13:29If you want to see more than that, just tune in.
13:30And I'm going to be doing that the whole routine.
13:33And also, if you want to know who my partner is, over to you, Fleur.
13:38Thanks, Baba Tunde.
13:39Thanks, Baba Tunde.
13:40I can indeed reveal Baba Tunde's pro dance partner is...
13:44Nancy!
13:45Yay!
13:46Ready for another one?
13:48Yes, thanks.
13:49Okay.
13:50Here you go.
13:51Hi.
13:52Hi.
13:53My name's Nicholas Bailey.
13:54And you might know me for playing Dr. Anthony Truman in BBC's EastEnders.
13:58And I'm delighted to be joining you for Strictly's Christmas special.
14:03It's such an amazing opportunity.
14:05I'm going to have a fantastic time, but the most amazing thing is my incredible partner.
14:09Hello.
14:10Yes.
14:11Oh, no, no, no.
14:12I've got the partner.
14:13Yes, he's wonderful.
14:14Yes.
14:15He dance before?
14:16Definitely.
14:17Yeah.
14:18Yeah, yeah, yeah.
14:19Oh, he's going to be great.
14:20Choreography's perfect.
14:21See you there.
14:23How exciting.
14:24We can't wait to watch Baba Tunde and Nicholas unwrap some serious moves on Christmas Day.
14:29And stay tuned as Jeanette will be officially announcing the final Christmas celebrity on tomorrow's
14:34show.
14:35Yeah.
14:36Now, Picasso, Da Vinci, Van Gogh, just some of the great artists.
14:41But there's someone whose art never fails to inspire me.
14:44And she's been working tirelessly since last Monday to ensure tonight's masterpiece is her greatest
14:49creation yet.
14:50And I think she's almost done.
14:51How are you getting on, Jo?
14:55Voila.
14:57Well then, I guess it's time for Choreography Corner.
15:04What a weekend.
15:20Let's start.
15:21Let's talk about Alex and Johannes and the couple's choice.
15:23Now, Craig mentioned he wanted to see more definition in Alex's movement.
15:27Did you agree?
15:28And what difference do you think that would have made?
15:30I do agree.
15:31And if we watch the clip now, you're going to see three kind of like accents.
15:35One, two, three to the music.
15:37Then it was a lovely extended arm there.
15:39And then she does a little cheeky like, oh, wiping her sweat off her brow kind of thing.
15:43There.
15:44Yeah.
15:45Now, those first three accents were to the music.
15:47It was like ba-boom, ba-boom, ba-boom.
15:48I would have loved her to be a little bit sharper, a little bit more punch to it, and a little
15:53bit further away from her body so that the people at the back of the room can see what
15:58she was doing.
15:59She did that in other moments, like up on the shoulder.
16:01She was filling the space, but we needed a little bit more.
16:04Then her arm was beautiful.
16:05Then this thing here, right?
16:07Again, the people at the back need to see it.
16:09It's a little bit like I'm in a play now, but in a play, everything's kind of understated
16:13and internal.
16:14And in a musical, you kind of present it a little bit further out.
16:17And it needed to be a little bit more like you're in a musical so that people at the back
16:22can see it.
16:23So I'm hoping she'll do that next week.
16:24Right, on to Amber and Nikita and the quick step.
16:26Now, Motsi recognised that Amber had been working on stretching, like the judges had
16:31asked her to, but felt that she could have relaxed more.
16:33Where did she see that, and how should it have looked?
16:36I mean, Amber's a perfectionist.
16:37You can absolutely tell.
16:38She was stretching up, but she stretched up so far that you can see the gapping there.
16:43She actually became a banana shape.
16:44She was extending from her lower back instead of from the area where her bra strap would
16:49be.
16:50Let me get you a diagram.
16:51Oh, here she is.
16:52Right.
16:53Here's my diagram of the week.
16:54That's what I was working on earlier.
16:56So basically, she had this kind of shape going on, like a banana shape, where you only have
17:01one point of contact.
17:02It's easy to lose.
17:03If she would go from her bra strap and like, project up where her sternum is, and keep
17:08that part of her body straight, she can have her two contact points, hip and rib.
17:14That way, we can keep a nice diagonal line out and less gapping.
17:19She did promenade position excellent.
17:21She was listening to Shirley last week about the head position, and in my opinion, she
17:25had the hardest dance.
17:26Not because of the choreography, but because it was the easiest to see the mistakes in.
17:30So props to her.
17:31What are those drawings?
17:32Vince and Joe and Gotham, am I right?
17:35OK, onto George and Alexis and the salsa.
17:37Now, Craig felt the whole base of George's salsa was danced a little bit wide.
17:41What did he mean by that?
17:42Well, first of all, where did this come from?
17:45I mean, look at his face here in a minute.
17:47Like, I was like, what is this?
17:49We've never seen this side of George, but we'll talk about that in a minute.
17:53So the base in salsa has to kind of stay underneath the body.
17:57So when you're going from side to side or forward and back, you have it here underneath the body,
18:01so then you can do the hip action and forward as well.
18:05I did see a few times when he did the backwards step that it was a little bit too far back,
18:10so he didn't get his weight over the foot.
18:12But the performance of it, I think what people need to understand is the performance of the dance
18:17is just as important as the technical stuff, because you're selling it.
18:21And you can. We say fake it till you make it.
18:23I don't think he was faking it. I think he loved that dance.
18:26But it's like, you need to perform it.
18:29You can be as technically perfect as you want, but you can't be boring.
18:32And I hope he keeps that up for the rest of the series.
18:36OK, on to Lewis and Katya and Ed Charleston.
18:38All the judges loved this routine.
18:40And Lewis earned the second 40 of the series.
18:43What stood out the most to you?
18:44Oh, my gosh. I'm a bit like Anton.
18:46I have no words. I'm like, wow.
18:48I mean, look, the lifts.
18:50I thought it was going to be too much Lindy Hop.
18:52But no, they went into a chart. It was perfect.
18:54But look at this part.
18:55The coordination and the speed between arms and legs and the synchronicity of it.
18:59So I'm going to do a little exercise for people at home to help with coordination.
19:05Right? So I want everybody at home to try this in demo time.
19:09OK, now this might seem a little bit silly, but it is a coordination exercise that we do as dancers beginners to help with coordination.
19:21So everybody at home, please try along with us.
19:23We're going to bang our knees or the table twice.
19:25One, two.
19:26You put one hand on your nose.
19:28You put the other hand across to your ear.
19:31Again, one, two.
19:33Then the other hand on your nose and then cross on the other side.
19:36So it goes one, two, three.
19:39One, two, three.
19:40Get faster.
19:41One, two, three.
19:42One, two, three.
19:43One, two, three.
19:44One, two, three.
19:45OK, if you want to make it even more difficult, add the feet to different rhythms here.
19:49One, and two, and.
19:51One, and two, and.
19:52One, and two, and.
19:53One, two, three.
19:54One, two, three.
19:55One, two, three.
19:56One, two, three.
19:57Well done, everybody.
19:58That's an exercise that we do as beginners.
20:01The whole studio is involved.
20:03That was so fun.
20:04That was so fun.
20:05On to Karen and Carlos and the Paso.
20:07Now, Shirley praised Carlos' choreography for being of the highest competitive quality.
20:12And Motsi said she didn't have a paddle high enough to score this.
20:15What did you think?
20:16Let's be clear, this was a 40.
20:19I don't know what Craig was looking at.
20:21The thing is, like, he, I think he was like, I don't know, listening to earlier comments on different Pasos when they've said,
20:27Oh, I love the regalness, the calmness, the slowness and control.
20:31But they had the music.
20:32Bum, bum, bum, bum.
20:34Like, what are you going to do?
20:35So you're not going to be slow, are you?
20:36So she attacked it.
20:38She was great.
20:39And what we were speaking about last week with the fibers, the fast twitch fibers, this is exactly where she used them to the best of her ability.
20:46She did the spin on the floor, abs of steel, and bam, stopped in the perfect direction with a perfect position and up she goes.
20:53I also think she's been working on the slower ones because she didn't actually look stiff.
20:57She hit the lines, but she didn't look like, ooh, like that.
21:01She was actually brilliant.
21:03Ten from me.
21:04OK, on to Balvinda and Julian and the Argentine tango.
21:07Now, Motsi and Shirley agreed that Bal needed to focus on the tiny details when finishing each movement.
21:12What did you make of her performance?
21:14I actually thought, along with her couple's choice, that this was her best dance.
21:18Ah.
21:19I loved this side of her, which was calm, focused and sultry.
21:22There's a bit coming up in a second where she stops dead still and right to her finger, there, to her fingertips.
21:28She's like an ice statue, like a queen.
21:31Yes.
21:32It was brilliant.
21:33So we did have a few details like on the ganchos, which means hook with these behind his legs.
21:38She wasn't pointing her feet and also on the lift and everything.
21:41And also, she had what I call a bunch of banana hands.
21:45So she would put it on her shoulder like that, rather than that.
21:48But another amazing dance.
21:50Well, do you think you can come back next week with some more drawings?
21:53I think I can.
21:54Amazing.
21:55Let's hear it for Joanne Clifton!
22:01Next up, Amber and Nikita made such a splash at the weekend, we couldn't help but reach for the stars ourselves.
22:06Because when shells, sand and sea are involved, it's true.
22:09There really ain't no party like an S Club party.
22:12Let's remind ourselves of their quick step.
22:17You're very energetic, you're light, you change, you're quick, you have a lot of fluidity.
22:22I loved it.
22:23Your timing is exceptional.
22:27You are such a brilliant performer.
22:33You covered this wonderful floor amazingly, absolutely gorgeous.
22:39I loved it.
22:40Well done.
22:41It's Amber and Nikita!
22:47Guys, a quick step in the iconic Tower Ballroom and no elimination.
22:52How good did it feel to just enjoy that moment without the pressure of a dance-off hanging over everyone?
22:56Very true.
22:57I was still extremely nervous.
22:59Really?
23:00Yeah.
23:01I had like one second of, oh, this is amazing.
23:04And then, I don't know, there was something about the quick step that had me really nervous.
23:09And I think it was the frame.
23:11The frame.
23:12Wow.
23:13There's something about me and the frame.
23:15I was getting it by the end of the week.
23:17But with me, when I get a little bit nervous, I tend to grab.
23:25Interesting reflex.
23:26Yep.
23:27Everything.
23:28Yeah.
23:29Like that.
23:30And Amber, you dedicated the dance to your Nana.
23:32I did.
23:33Jeanette.
23:34Who was there cheering you on in the audience.
23:36She was.
23:37There she is.
23:38You know, she's been my number one fan my entire life.
23:42So, to be able to like do something for her, you know, it's very special to me, to my family.
23:49So, I'm so glad that I got to do that.
23:51Well, she even made it onto the dance floor herself.
23:53She did.
23:54Check this out.
23:55She's got some moves.
23:56Thank you for doing that.
23:57She's the best.
23:58She's just the best.
23:59Big up Nana.
24:00We all love our nanas.
24:01Don't we?
24:02Yeah.
24:03We do.
24:04They're just the best thing in the world.
24:05Without them, we wouldn't be the same.
24:06Big up all the nanas around the world.
24:07Nana Jeanette though, wasn't the only family member there, Nikita.
24:08Your parents were there as well, watching you.
24:09Look at them so proud.
24:10So, what do your parents make of your partnership?
24:11They absolutely loved it.
24:12They were so, so happy to just be there.
24:13They were happy to see us dance together, because it was obviously the first time that they
24:14actually came.
24:15They're just the best thing in the world.
24:16Yeah.
24:17They're just the best thing in the world.
24:18Without them, we wouldn't be the same.
24:19We've got all the nanas around the world.
24:20Yes.
24:21Nana Jeanette though, wasn't the only family member there, Nikita.
24:24No.
24:25Your parents were there as well, watching you.
24:27They were so sweet.
24:28Look at them, so proud.
24:29So, what do your parents make of your partnership?
24:31They absolutely loved it.
24:33They were so, so happy to just be there.
24:36They were happy to see us dance together, because it was obviously the first time that they actually
24:40time that they actually came um this year and yeah i they just loved it it was just so nice
24:46seeing them smiling seeing them there seeing them just enjoy the time and being hopefully a little
24:52bit proud as well you know it's just it's just the best thing in the world it's lovely and amber
24:57having the experience of large-scale stage shows with the extra dancers did you feel a little bit
25:02more at home i mean you said you were nervous but was that a bit of a comfort no i loved that
25:06i absolutely loved that especially when we could like do the tricks and things like that and at the
25:13end i think i like what last three-eighths of our routine was like all of us dancing together and it
25:18was the energy was just so good even in rehearsal i couldn't see none of you you know i was just
25:23facing the front and i was like hoping that everything was doing it you're like please let
25:28it be going okay i was just hoping that everything is fine behind my back but yeah you took full
25:32advantage of the extra dancers nikita with this crab style oh okay move that i was not sure where
25:38we were going for the sentence yeah look look here we go little crab to the side yeah what inspired this
25:44move nikita ah you know what is it's um a variation of this move has been done like in 1960s and we just
25:53were searching for a way to to do something cool and it was just a billion things that we could have done
26:01that we decided to be a crab you know well it went with the theme it did you know blackball fish and
26:10chips lobster crab crab crab on the dance floor quick step 40. but that is so much effort to do that
26:20yeah i was more exhausted from that than from the whole routine i love that well the quick step is now in
26:25the past and you'll be dancing a jive to this cena turner proud mary i mean you've gone from a fast
26:37paced quick step to an even faster dance the jive you're probably still catching your breath
26:43how are you finding this dance well i feel like from blackpool i think everyone is like slightly on the
26:49back foot i'm a little bit fatigued i mean i've been fatigued for 10 weeks well i was going to say
26:54yeah when nikita was teaching me the jive today i had like three brain cells and i was trying to
27:00figure it out uh so hopefully you know tomorrow after a good sleep i'll tackle it again yeah no it
27:06was great it was great it's just very fast oh it's so fast you know it and we need to talk about
27:10the instant dance challenge i mean this is going to be chaos the judges will be marking the dancers
27:16from six to one and this could really shake up the leaderboard actually this could change everything
27:21nikita you were so excited for this in the results show but amber what do you think about it
27:27well this is my thought we're in a very dangerous spot on the leaderboard yeah we are so we could
27:33really benefit from the extra six points okay yeah so at first i thought oh this is going to be so
27:39fun so excited and now i'm thinking actually we need to be really good at it well we do our bags and
27:45then no listen the priority is still to show off amber skills yeah but at the same time it's an
27:52entertainment show live television so let's have some fun you know no rules and i feel like out of
27:59everyone i've got the most chaotic partner so i have no idea what he's going to make me do oh it's going
28:04to be so fun good luck in training can't wait to see you all thanks it's amber and nikita
28:13well that's it for tonight jeanette will be here tomorrow with the first professional to take part
28:17in our pro challenge and she will be announcing the final celebrity for this year's christmas special
28:23plus she'll be catching up with valvinda and julian and george and alexis have a lovely evening
