00:00Please welcome your host, Fleur East.
00:30Hello and welcome to Tuesday's episode of It Takes Two on BBC Two and iPlayer.
00:35It's Tuesday and with the Blackpool glitter dust settling, so is our sugar rush from all those fairgrounds, sweets and sticks of rock.
00:43But because we think life can never be too sweet, we thought we'd provide a little more sugar for you if you fancy it.
00:48Yes please!
00:50Well since you are so nicely, let me start unwrapping all the eye candy we've got lined up for tonight's show.
00:55There was no skirting around this Paso, Karen and Carlos are here to talk drama, passion and whether the future of their next performance is looking as crystal clear as their last.
01:07They're still celebrating that seriously good performance, I'll be deep diving into Amber and Nikita's quick step and finding out whether they think this week's instant dance will keep them afloat or leave them in the deep end.
01:19Plus, nobody puts Joanne Clifton in a corner, unless it's to talk us through some choreography.
01:26It's Joanne Clifton!
01:30And we've got some exciting news for you.
01:32Not only will I be revealing this year's pro challenge step, but...
01:36Ho ho ho ho ho!
01:38Santa's back with more Christmas celebs!
01:40Ho ho ho ho ho!
01:41So stick around for the official announcement of who our fourth and fifth Strictly Christmas stars are.
01:47Ho ho ho ho ho ho!
01:48Thanks Santa!
01:50But first, there's no sugarcoating that passion in our next guest's performance.
01:55Karen and Carlos are here to talk about their Paso, which Motsi said was so good, she didn't have a paddle that in any way could express how good that dance was.
02:03Oh, and if I'd known her, I would have let her this.
02:06Maybe next time.
02:10The drama, the choreography was brilliant, your execution was amazing, your timing, your intensity.
02:16No one will dance better than that.
02:17You are wonderful!
02:18I do not have a paddle that in any way can express how good that dance was.
02:28You nailed everything like a top class professional, having never danced before.
02:32That is epic!
02:33It will go down in history!
02:33It will go down in history!
02:39Please welcome Karen and Carlos!
02:41Three tens, the highest ever Blackpool score for a footballer, and you've got Motsi and Shirley jumping to their feet during your dance.
02:50Yes!
02:51This is them at the end.
02:52Look at them!
02:53Wow!
02:54Wow!
02:55I wouldn't get a chance to see this.
02:56I have not seen that.
02:57I mean, could you have imagined a reaction like that in Blackpool?
03:00No.
03:01No.
03:02I literally...
03:03I looked at that and I was like, was that us?
03:05Like, I still watch things and think, oh, we're in that show and that's us.
03:08So it's really strange to see it back, but it was unbelievable.
03:11I loved every minute of it.
03:12Yeah, and it's not just you hitting some PBs.
03:15Carlos, this is your highest score in Blackpool.
03:17Yes!
03:18I'm buzzing!
03:19What do you think it was about this dance that made it click for you?
03:23I mean, it's everything.
03:25It's everything that we have in a moment.
03:28Costume, makeup, hair, you know, the actual dancers, the music, the band, the whole production of the dance.
03:37But also, I think the most important essence is of the ballroom.
03:41The magic of the ballroom has really landed in that dance.
03:45Then we both, I believe we both felt the magic of that ballroom and really helped us.
03:51That's the best run we've ever done.
03:53Oh, that's amazing.
03:54That's what you want.
03:55You want it to happen on the night.
03:56Exactly.
03:57We need to remind ourselves of this special moment with the fluorography and that spin.
04:02Please, let's take a look again.
04:04It's really to clean the floor, really.
04:06Look at that.
04:07I mean, how tough was it to get Kaz to make that look so effortless and be so precise?
04:12I mean, the amount of the times we practiced that floor spin, it's just cuntless.
04:20And she had bruises on both sides of her legs.
04:22Wow.
04:23Yeah, it's an effort.
04:24And we really worked.
04:25But also, it's kind of easy for her to start.
04:27I just said, stop!
04:28And she was like, OK.
04:29Were you pleased with how it turned out on the night?
04:33Oh, I mean, yeah, it couldn't have for us.
04:37Like Carla said, I actually made a few mistakes in the rehearsals.
04:41Oh, OK.
04:42So when that happened, I was like, whoa.
04:44But like Carla said, when you're in that magical ballroom, like, I did feel like we turned it on.
04:51I don't know, it was weird.
04:52I've never ever felt like that.
04:53But I literally was like, right, we're going to really go for it.
04:56That was the first time I failed to dance with a person who never danced before.
05:01But I had my full professional levels in their performances.
05:05I never felt it before.
05:07It was just magical for me.
05:08I got goosebumps myself after the dance.
05:11The reaction from the audience was incredible.
05:14Yeah.
05:15It was really a beautiful moment.
05:17Shirley loved it.
05:18She said this Paso will go down in strictly history.
05:21It will.
05:22I mean, that's high praise.
05:24Craig was the only one to give critique, though, and a nine.
05:26Be honest.
05:27Were you gutted that you didn't pull out the ten?
05:29You know what?
05:30No.
05:31Genuinely, I've always stood by it.
05:33And I'll always say this to Carlos.
05:35It's how we feel.
05:36Obviously, the judges are there and we will take on their feedback.
05:39And we've tried to every single week.
05:41But me and Carlos came off that.
05:44And we knew we gave everything and we couldn't have done any better.
05:47And that's what's important to us.
05:49We can't control anything else, only what we do.
05:53And also, if we're ever given the chance where Craig ever puts up that ten,
05:58it will be so magical if we ever get that.
06:01So, we'll work towards that and we'll take on his feedback.
06:04Yes.
06:05I love it.
06:06I love it.
06:07Well, you're, of course, through to this week.
06:08Or you'll be doing your couple's choice and you'll be dancing it to this.
06:12And we'll be falling away.
06:13And we'll be falling away.
06:14Lady Gaga, Born This Way.
06:15And we'll be falling away.
06:16And we'll be falling away.
06:17Now, Kaz, you mentioned at the weekend that with this dance, you just wanted to feel free.
06:21So, with a couple's choice, are you really excited to be able to just let loose?
06:25Yeah, it's really cool because there's no rules and you can just do what you want within the framework.
06:31He keeps saying it's still framework.
06:33But there is an element where I can actually just do what I want, which is a little bit nerve-wracking, I'm sure, for Carlos.
06:39Probably that's how I feel with him most weeks.
06:42But, yeah, it's, um, I just get to do me and that's really cool.
06:46He's given me the chance to do that and Jack the choreographer.
06:48So, yeah, it's awesome.
06:49Yeah, well, we heard that you haven't agreed yet on the style.
06:51So, what are we going with now?
06:54After, you know, after long discussions, we decided to throw everything.
06:59Everything she loves.
07:01Moves, you know, grooving, you know, street, commercial, pop, bricking, you know, everything.
07:06Wow.
07:07You know, everything.
07:08Let's see, just have fun.
07:09Well, the song's all about self-acceptance, empowerment and celebrating diversity.
07:13You're working with Jake Lee on the choreography.
07:15Yeah.
07:16How are you going to bring that message to life in the dance?
07:18Jake's just wonderful.
07:19He come to me with a great concept of this dance.
07:22We wanted this dance to be celebration.
07:24Yeah.
07:25We want this dance to have all of the contents that Karen feel comfortable with
07:29and can really, really express it for herself in the best way she can.
07:33So, and today, the second day of the rehearsal, it did come across alive.
07:38And you can tell she's loving it.
07:40And there's, like she said, no rules, no heels.
07:43She's, yeah.
07:44Yes.
07:45What does the message of the song mean to you, Kaz?
07:47Um, the reason why we actually picked it was the first line is,
07:52my mama told me when we were young.
07:54We were all born superstars.
07:56But I told my mum that when I was 11, I was going to play for England.
08:01And she said to me, we've all, there's so many barriers out there.
08:05She, all she said to me was, if you want something, work hard for it and go after it.
08:11And Carlos absolutely adores his mum and your mum.
08:16So it's very personal for both of us, for our mums.
08:19Our mums have encouraged Carlos to be the amazing dancer he is.
08:22And my mum has pushed me to become a footballer.
08:27And I believe that I was born to play football and he was born to dance.
08:32So we're born this way.
08:33Aww.
08:34That's a lovely, lovely story.
08:36I love that.
08:37We also have to talk about this week's instant dance challenge.
08:40Let's not, let's not.
08:42Well, aside from your concerns about Carlos, how are you feeling about this?
08:47What was going through your mind when you were told about this challenge?
08:50Um, panic.
08:52Um, still panic and anxiety, but I trust this guy.
08:57So I know whatever he tells me to do or whatever he wants to do,
09:01whatever he does, I'll just be, I'll be led by him, I'll be guided by him
09:05and I'll just go with it with him.
09:07Amazing.
09:08Well, good luck in training.
09:10It's Karen and Carlos!
09:12Now, we all know about bar charts and pie charts,
09:18but there's one chart we look forward to every single week.
09:21It's time to get the low down on all the songs our couples will be dancing to
09:24in Top of the Bops.
09:32Welcome to the official It Takes Two chart show countdown!
09:36In case you didn't manage to catch the results show,
09:38here are the songs our couples will be dancing to this Saturday.
09:41So in no particular order, here's this week's Top of the Bops!
09:47Climbing back to six, George and Alexis will be dancing a quick step
09:50to Get a Kick Out of You by Frank Sinatra.
09:53Hopefully the judges will get a kick out of this one.
09:57At five, Balvinda and Julian will be jiving to Right Back Where We Started From
10:01by Maxine Nightingale.
10:02So let's see if this track helps them get right back where they belong
10:05in the competition.
10:06A non-mover at four, Lewis and Katya will be performing a run
10:11butt to Falling by Harry Styles.
10:13But Lewis will be hoping for no falls this weekend.
10:15Now the moment you've all been waiting for, it's the top three.
10:20Again, in no particular order.
10:22Straight in at number three, Alex and Johannes will be dancing a cha-cha-cha to this.
10:27That's Ring My Bell by Anita Ward, released in 1979.
10:33It's spent two weeks at number one.
10:35They'll be hoping they can ring in some magic and cha-cha charm us this weekend.
10:40At number two, we just heard from them, Karen and Carlos will be performing
10:44their couple's choice to this.
10:46That's Lady Gaga's track, Born This Way, known for her reinventions.
10:52This routine promises to be Gaga-level iconic.
10:55Let's hope they can defeat Craig's poker face this weekend.
10:59And at number one, Amber and Nikita are jiving to this.
11:04That's Proud Mary by Tina Turner.
11:07Former Streetly celeb Alexandra Burke earned a perfect 40 for her jive in the final
11:11to this track back in 2017.
11:14Amber and Nikita will be hoping they make themselves proud with this one.
11:19And that's it for this week's official Strictly Top of the Box.
11:26Next up, before we announce our next Christmas celebs,
11:28our pros have been warming up for something else.
11:30Ready to take on a step that took TikTok by storm
11:33and battle it out for a Guinness World Record title.
11:36Yes, you guessed it.
11:37Tomorrow sees the return of...
11:39The Pro Challenge.
11:42Here's a little teaser.
11:44The Strictly Pro Challenge is back.
11:47Our professional dancers are attempting to set a world record for the most samba whisks.
11:54Performed in 30 seconds.
11:56Let's go!
11:57This year, I'm on the panel and I'll be keeping a close watch on our dancers technique.
12:05Oh!
12:06Is this hard, son?
12:08I lost it!
12:09Ah!
12:10Only one pro can be victorious.
12:13Ah!
12:14I've got this.
12:15World record, I'm coming for you.
12:17Let's go!
12:18Bring it on.
12:19Welcome to the Strictly Pro Challenge 2025.
12:24Let's go!
12:25Oh, it looks good.
12:27Now...
12:28Oh, you guys, you know what that sound means.
12:33It's time to announce more celebrities taking part in this year's Christmas special.
12:38But first, let's recap of all the cracking celebs we have so far.
12:43Our first festive reveal was presenter and former queen of the jungle, Scarlet Muffet.
12:48She'll be dancing with Vito.
12:50Next out of the Strictly stocking was Menelie Blatt.
12:53We'll be dancing with Kai.
12:55And finally, we unwrapped Jodie Owensley, a.k.a. Fury from Gladiators.
13:00We'll be dancing with Neil.
13:02So who else is about to jingle all the way onto our Christmas Day dance floor?
13:06Let's find out.
13:07What's going on, people?
13:09It's me, Baba Tunde Aleshay here.
13:11I'm here to tell you that I am taking part in this year's Christmas special of Strictly Come Dancing.
13:18That's right.
13:19I'm here to shake a leg and show you how it's done.
13:23That's right.
13:24All you've got to do is two-step.
13:25Just hit.
13:26Bow.
13:27Oh, you see that?
13:28If you want to see more than that, just tune in.
13:30And I'm going to be doing that the whole routine.
13:33And also, if you want to know who my partner is, over to you, Fleur.
13:39Thanks, Baba Tunde.
13:41I can indeed reveal Baba Tunde's pro dance partner is Nancy.
13:46Yay!
13:47Ready for another one?
13:49Yes, please.
13:50Okay.
13:51Here you go.
13:52Hi.
13:53My name's Nicholas Bailey.
13:55And you might know me for playing Dr. Anthony Truman in BBC's EastEnders.
13:58And I'm delighted to be joining you for Strictly's Christmas special.
14:03It's such an amazing opportunity.
14:05I'm going to have a fantastic time.
14:06But the most amazing thing is my incredible partner.
14:09Hello.
14:10Yes.
14:11Oh, no, no, no.
14:12I've got the partner.
14:13Yes, he's wonderful.
14:14Definitely.
14:15Yeah.
14:16Yeah, yeah, yeah.
14:17Oh, he's going to be great.
14:18Choreography's perfect.
14:19See you there.
14:23How exciting.
14:24We've got to wait to watch Baba Tunde and Nicholas unwrap some serious moves on Christmas Day.
14:29And stay tuned as Jeanette will be officially announcing the final Christmas celebrity on tomorrow's show.
14:36Now, Picasso, Da Vinci, Van Gogh, just some of the great artists.
14:41But there's someone whose art never fails to inspire me.
14:44And she's been working tirelessly since last Monday to ensure tonight's masterpiece is her greatest creation yet.
14:50And I think she's almost done.
14:51How are you getting on, Jo?
14:55Voila.
14:57Well then, I guess it's time for Choreography Corner.
15:00What a weekend.
15:20Let's start.
15:21Let's talk about Alex and Johannes and the couple's choice.
15:23Now, Craig mentioned he wanted to see more definition in Alex's movement.
15:27Did you agree?
15:28And what difference do you think that would have made?
15:30I do agree.
15:31And if we watch the clip now, you're going to see three kind of like accents.
15:35One, two, three to the music.
15:37Then it was a lovely extended arms there.
15:39And then she does a little cheeky like, oh, wiping her, sweat off her brow kind of thing.
15:43There.
15:44Now, those first three accents were to the music.
15:47It was like ba-boom, ba-boom, ba-boom.
15:48I would have loved her to be a little bit sharper, a little bit more punch to it.
15:52And a little bit further away from her body.
15:55So that the people at the back of the room can see what she was doing.
15:58She did that in other moments, like up on the shoulder, she was filling the space.
16:02But we needed a little bit more.
16:04Then her arm was beautiful.
16:05Then this thing here, right?
16:07Again, the people at the back need to see it.
16:09It's a little bit like, I'm in a play now.
16:11But in a play, everything's kind of understated and internal.
16:14And in a musical, you kind of present it a little bit further out.
16:17And it needed to be a little bit more like you're in a musical so that people at the back can see it.
16:23So I'm hoping she'll do that next week.
16:24Right.
16:25On to Amber and Nikita and the quick step.
16:26Now, Motsi recognised that Amber had been working on stretching, like the judges had asked her to,
16:31but felt that she could have relaxed more.
16:33Where did she see that?
16:34And how should it have looked?
16:35I mean, Amber's a perfectionist.
16:37You can absolutely tell.
16:38She was stretching up, but she stretched up so far that you can see the gapping there.
16:42She actually became a banana shape.
16:44She was extending from her lower back instead of from the area where her bra strap would be.
16:49Let me get you a diagram.
16:50Oh, here she is.
16:52Here's my diagram of the week.
16:54That's what I was working on earlier.
16:56So basically, she had this kind of shape going on, like a banana shape,
17:00where you only have one point of contact.
17:02It's easy to lose.
17:03If she would go from her bra strap and like project up where her sternum is
17:08and keep that part of her body straight, she can have her two contact points, hip and rib.
17:14That way, we can keep a nice diagonal line out and less gapping.
17:19She did promenade position excellent.
17:22She was listening to Shirley last week about the head position.
17:24And in my opinion, she had the hardest dance, not because of the choreography,
17:28but because it was the easiest to see the mistakes in.
17:30So props to her.
17:31With those drawings, Vince and Jo and Gotham, am I right?
17:34LAUGHTER
17:35OK, onto George and Alexis and the salsa.
17:37Now, Craig felt the whole base of George's salsa was danced a little bit wide.
17:41What did he mean by that?
17:42Well, first of all, where did this come from?
17:45I mean, look at his face here in a minute.
17:47Like, I was like, what is this?
17:49We've never seen this side of George, but we'll talk about that in a minute.
17:53So the base in salsa has to kind of stay underneath the body.
17:57So when you're going from the side to side or forward and back, you have it here underneath the body.
18:01So then you can do the hip action and forward as well.
18:05I did see a few times when he did the backwards step that it was a little bit too far back,
18:10so he didn't get his weight over the foot.
18:12But the performance of it, I think what people need to understand is the performance of the dance is just as important as the technical stuff.
18:19Because you're selling it, and you can.
18:22We say fake it till you make it.
18:23I don't think he was faking it.
18:24I think he loved that dance.
18:26But it's like, you need to perform it.
18:29You can be as technically perfect as you want, but you can't be boring.
18:32And I hope he keeps that up for the rest of the series.
18:36OK, on to Lewis and Katya and Ned Charleston.
18:38All the judges loved this routine.
18:40And Lewis earned the second 40 of the series.
18:43What stood out the most to you?
18:44Oh, my gosh.
18:45I'm a bit like Anton.
18:46I have no words.
18:47I'm like, wow.
18:48I mean, look.
18:49The lifts, the...
18:50I thought it was...
18:51I thought it was going to be too much Lindy Hopp, but no.
18:53They went into a truss.
18:54It was perfect.
18:55But look at this part.
18:56The coordination and the speed between arms and legs and the synchronicity of it.
18:59So I'm going to do a little exercise for people at home to help with coordination.
19:05Right?
19:06So I want everybody at home to try this in demo time.
19:13OK, now this might seem a little bit silly, but it is a coordination exercise that we do.
19:18As dancers, beginners to help with coordination.
19:21So everybody at home, please try along with us.
19:23We're going to bang our knees or the table twice.
19:25One, two.
19:26You put one hand on your nose.
19:28You put the other hand across to your ear.
19:31Again.
19:32One, two.
19:33Then the other hand on your nose.
19:35And then cross on the other side.
19:37So it goes one, two, three.
19:39One, two, three.
19:40Get faster.
19:41One, two, three.
19:42One, two, three.
19:43One, two, three.
19:44One, two, three.
19:45OK, if you want to make it even more difficult, add the feet to different rhythms.
19:49Here.
19:50One, and two, and.
19:51One, and two, and.
19:52One, and two, and.
19:53One, two, three.
19:54One, two, three.
19:55One, two, three.
19:56One, two, three.
19:57Well done, everybody.
19:58That was an exercise that we do as beginners.
20:02The whole studio is involved.
20:03That was so fun.
20:04On to Karen and Carlos and the Paso.
20:06Now, Shirley praised Carlos' choreography for being of the highest competitive quality.
20:11And Motsi said she didn't have a paddle high enough to score this.
20:15What did you think?
20:16Let's be clear.
20:17This was a 40.
20:19I don't know what Craig was looking at.
20:21The thing is, like, he, I think he was like, I don't know, listening to earlier comments
20:25on different Pasos when they've said, oh, I love the regalness, the calmness, the slowness
20:30and control.
20:31But they, they had the music.
20:33Bum, bum, bum, bum.
20:34Like, what are you going to do?
20:35So you're not going to be slow, are you?
20:36So she attacked it.
20:38She was great.
20:39And what we were speaking about, um, last week with the fibers, the fast twitch fibers,
20:43this is exactly where she used them to the best of her ability.
20:46She did the spin on the floor, abs of steel and bam, stopped in the perfect direction
20:51with a perfect position and up she goes.
20:53I also think she's been working on the slower ones because she didn't actually look stiff.
20:57She hit the lines, but she didn't look like, ooh, like that.
21:01She was actually brilliant.
21:0310 from me.
21:04Okay.
21:05Onto Balvinda and Julian and the Argentine Tango.
21:07Now, Motsi and Shirley agreed that Balvinda needed to focus on the tiny details when finishing
21:11each movement.
21:12What did you make of her performance?
21:14I actually thought, along with her couple's choice, that this was her best dance.
21:18Ah.
21:19I loved this side of her, which was calm, focused and sultry.
21:22There's a bit coming up in a second where she stops dead still and right to her finger,
21:27there, to her fingertips.
21:28Ooh.
21:29She's like an ice statue, like a queen.
21:31Yes.
21:32Like, it was brilliant.
21:33So, we did have a few details like on the ganchos, which means hook, with these behind
21:38his legs.
21:39She wasn't pointing her feet and also on the lift and everything.
21:42And also, she had what I call a bunch of banana hands.
21:45So, she would put it on her shoulder like that, rather than that.
21:48But, another amazing dance.
21:50Well, do you think you can come back next week with some more drawings?
21:53I think I can.
21:54Amazing.
21:55Let's hear it for Joanne Clifton!
21:57Next up, Amber and Nikita made such a splash at the weekend.
22:03We couldn't help but reach for the stars ourselves.
22:06Because when shells, sand and sea are involved, it's true.
22:09There really ain't no party like an S Club party.
22:12Let's remind ourselves of their quick step.
22:17You're very energetic.
22:19You're light.
22:20You change.
22:21You're quick.
22:22You have a lot of fluidity.
22:23I loved it.
22:24Your timing is exceptional.
22:27You are such a brilliant performer.
22:33You covered this wonderful floor.
22:35Amazing.
22:36Absolutely gorgeous.
22:39I loved it.
22:40Well done.
22:45It's Amber and Nikita!
22:47Guys, a quick step in the iconic Tower Ballroom and no elimination.
22:52How good did it feel to just enjoy that moment without the pressure of a dance-off hanging over everyone?
22:57Very true.
22:58I was still extremely nervous.
22:59Really?
23:00Yeah.
23:01I had like one second of, oh, this is amazing.
23:04And then, I don't know.
23:06There was something about the quick step that had me really nervous.
23:09And I think it was the frame.
23:11The frame.
23:12Wow.
23:13There's something about me and the frame.
23:15I was getting it by the end of the week.
23:17But with me, when I get a little bit nervous, I tend to grab.
23:22Um.
23:23Yeah.
23:24Interesting reflex.
23:25Yeah.
23:26Yeah.
23:27Everything.
23:28Yeah.
23:29Like that.
23:30And Amber, you dedicated the dance to your nana, Jeanette.
23:33I did.
23:34Who was there cheering you on in the audience.
23:36She was.
23:37There she is.
23:38There she is.
23:39You know, she's been my number one fan my entire life.
23:42So, to be able to like do something for her, uh, you know, it's very special to me, to my family.
23:49So, I'm so glad that I got to do that.
23:51Well, she even made it onto the dance floor herself.
23:54She did.
23:55Check this out.
23:56She's got some moves.
23:57She's the best.
23:58She's just the best.
23:59Big up Nana.
24:00We all love our nanas, don't we?
24:01Yeah.
24:02We do.
24:03They're just the best thing in the world.
24:04Without them, we wouldn't be the same.
24:05Big up all the nanas around the world.
24:08Um.
24:09Nana Jeanette, though, wasn't the only family member there.
24:11Nikita.
24:12Yeah.
24:13Your parents were there as well.
24:14Watching you.
24:15Yeah.
24:16Yeah.
24:17Yeah.
24:18Yeah.
24:19Yeah.
24:20Yeah.
24:21Yeah.
24:22Yeah.
24:23Yeah.
24:24Yeah.
24:25The parents were there as well.
24:26Watching you.
24:27Look at them.
24:28So proud.
24:29So what do your parents make of your partnership?
24:31Um.
24:32They absolutely loved it.
24:33They were so, so happy to just be there.
24:37They were happy to see us dance together.
24:39Because it was obviously the first time that they actually came.
24:42Um.
24:43This year.
24:44And yeah.
24:45They just loved it.
24:46It was just so nice seeing them smiling.
24:48Seeing them there.
24:49Seeing them just enjoy the time and being hopefully a little bit proud as well.
24:53You know.
24:54Yeah.
24:55It's just, it's just the best thing in the world.
24:56It's lovely.
24:57And Amber, having the experience of large scale stage shows.
24:59Mm.
25:00With the extra dancers.
25:01Did you feel a little bit more at home?
25:02I mean, you said you were nervous, but was that a bit of a comfort?
25:05No, I loved that.
25:06I absolutely loved that.
25:09Especially when we could like do the tricks and things like that.
25:12And at the end, I think I like what, last three eights of our routine was like all of us dancing together.
25:17Yes.
25:18And it was, the energy was just so good.
25:20Even in rehearsal.
25:21I couldn't see none of you, you know.
25:22I was just facing the front and I was like hoping that everything was good.
25:25I was doing it.
25:26Yeah, yeah.
25:27You're like, please let it be going okay.
25:28I was just hoping that everything is fine behind my back.
25:30But yeah.
25:31You took full advantage of the extra dancers, Nikita, with this crab style move that you did.
25:36Oh, okay.
25:37I was not sure where we were going for the sentence.
25:39Yeah, look.
25:40Look at you.
25:41Here we go.
25:42Little crab to the side.
25:43Yeah.
25:44What inspired this move, Nikita?
25:46You know what?
25:47It's a variation of this move has been done like in 1960s.
25:52And we just were searching for a way to do something cool.
25:57And it was just a billion things that we could have done and we decided to be a crab.
26:02You know.
26:03Well, it went with the theme.
26:05It did.
26:06You know.
26:07Blackpool, beach and all that.
26:08Yeah, blackpool, fish and chips, lobsters, crab, crab on the dance floor, quick step, 40.
26:16But that is so much effort to do that.
26:19Yeah.
26:20I was more exhausted from that than from the whole routine.
26:23I love that.
26:24Well, the quick step is now in the past and you'll be dancing a jive to this.
26:29We will.
26:30Tina Turner, proud Mary.
26:35I mean, you've gone from a fast paced quick step to an even faster dance.
26:39It's so fast.
26:40The jive, you're probably still catching your breath.
26:42How are you finding this dance?
26:44Well, I feel like from Blackpool, I think everyone is like slightly on the back foot.
26:49I'm a little bit fatigued.
26:50I mean, I've been fatigued for 10 weeks.
26:52Well, I was going to say.
26:53Yeah.
26:54When Nikita was teaching me the jive today, I had like three brain cells and I was trying
26:59to figure it out.
27:00So hopefully, you know, tomorrow after a good sleep, I'll tackle it again.
27:05Yeah.
27:06No, it was great.
27:07It was great.
27:08It's just very fast.
27:09It's so fast.
27:10You know it.
27:11And we need to talk about the instant dance challenge.
27:12I mean, this is going to be chaos.
27:14The judges will be marking the dancers from six to one and this could really shake up the
27:19leaderboard.
27:20Actually, this could change everything.
27:21Nikita, you were so excited for this and the results show for Amber.
27:24Yeah.
27:25What do you think about it?
27:26Well, this is my thought.
27:29We're in a very dangerous spot on the leaderboard.
27:31Yeah, we are.
27:32So we could really benefit from the extra six points.
27:36Okay.
27:37Yeah.
27:38Oh, this is going to be so fun, so excited.
27:40And now I'm thinking, actually, we need to be really good at it.
27:43Well, we do our best.
27:45And then, no, listen, the priority is still to show off Amber's skills.
27:49Yeah.
27:50But at the same time, it's an entertainment show, live television.
27:54So let's have some fun, you know, no rules.
27:58And I feel like out of everyone, I've got the most chaotic partner.
28:01So I have no idea what he's going to make me do.
28:03Oh, it's going to be so fun.
28:05Good luck in training.
28:06Can't wait to see you all.
28:08Thank you so much.
28:09It's Amber and Nikita.
28:10Yay!
28:13Well, that's it for tonight.
28:14Jeanette will be here tomorrow with the first professional to take part in our Pro Challenge.
28:18And she will be announcing the final celebrity for this year's Christmas special.
28:22Plus, she'll be catching up with Balvinda and Julian and George and Alexis.
28:26Have a lovely evening.
28:37As always, here's our one last summer.
28:38Soon, I will go to take part of the Red River to get to any new world where the first provider is actually MICHAEL.
28:40Let's dive to the TV on.
28:41I'll start a little later on asking the終了, but I'll start taking part of the whole weekend, as soon as soon as you can see the virtual package a week.
28:42verschiedene watches.
28:43They're Undero keynote at night in New South—
28:45And the new downloading stuff out behind them into getting help to give self-s sunflower or making time.
28:46That's also a new combination to catch.
28:47There's a new belief that you won't take part in there.
