00:00What dad is so cheap that this vacation is worth the risk?
00:04Trevor Noah is ripping into those who visited Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida over the weekend during its reopening,
00:10as the novel coronavirus remains rampant in the U.S., especially in Florida.
00:15A large portion of Disney World welcomed back guests on Saturday.
00:18All the while, Florida reported a record-breaking 15,299 new confirmed coronavirus cases on Sunday,
00:26which marked the highest daily total any U.S. state has recorded thus far.
00:31The Daily Show host was utterly baffled by the situation.
00:34It's crazy that we're in the middle of a pandemic that's killed hundreds of thousands of people,
00:39and there are still folks out there like, life isn't scary enough, let's go on a roller coaster.
00:44The host also pointed out that park staff are just as much at risk as the guests.
00:48And this isn't just dangerous for the visitors. Think about the risk this poses to all of the Disney employees.
00:52I mean, the safest job they have right now is the one inside a 200-degree rat costume.
00:57The host, Minnie Rant, also mocked a message that plays over the speakers at the park,
01:01asking guests to wear their masks, wash their hands often, and to social distance.
01:04Basically what we're saying is, why are you at Disney World, dumbass?
01:08In related news, Disney announced on Monday it would again close Hong Kong Disneyland over virus cases increasing in China.
01:15A number of Wall Street analysts saw the move as a minor setback.
