00:00The ceasefire in Gaza appears to be collapsing as the Israeli armed forces continue to strike
00:22targets inside the strip. The IDF on Wednesday said it had struck six terror operatives who were
00:31attempting to escape tunnels operated by Hamas in Gaza's eastern Rafah region. According to the IDF,
00:40the six operatives were spotted by soldiers monitoring surveillance cameras, and as soon
00:48as they were detected, the Israeli Air Force moved into action. With precise information provided by
00:56the ground forces, the Air Force struck the six operatives as they tried to flee from the spot.
01:03Following the strike, troops from the Nahal Brigade Combat Team were deployed in the area to search
01:14for any remaining terror operatives. This strike on a Hamas-operated tunnel comes just a day after
01:22five gunmen who emerged from tunnels in Rafah were killed by Israeli troops.
01:29In the past week alone, the IDF says it has eliminated over 20 terrorists and arrested eight others who have
01:43attempted to escape from the underground terror infrastructure in eastern Rafah.
01:51The IDF also said that forces under the Southern Command are deployed in the area in accordance
01:58with the Gaza Peace Plan and will continue operating in the region to eliminate any terror threat.
