A Hollywood Reporter film critic offers his picks for the best of the new streaming service.

00:00Okay, everybody, let's take it from the top.

00:06Disney Plus is officially here.

00:08The streaming service is now live,

00:09but with a massive library of classics and new originals,

00:12it's hard to know what to watch first.

00:14So The Hollywood Reporter's film critic, John DeFore,

00:16has broken out some of the platform's must-see titles.

00:19Here are seven great things to watch on Disney Plus.

00:22First, on the classic side,

00:24the princess who started it all in 1937, Snow White,

00:27a.k.a. the first Disney feature, is available to stream.

00:33Have a bite.

00:38Another timeless classic you can watch ahead

00:40of the forthcoming live-action version

00:41is 1989's The Little Mermaid.

00:43What's a fire?

00:45And why does it, what's the word, burn?

00:49On the Pixar side, the first three Toy Story movies

00:52are all on the service.

00:53However, subscribers will apparently have to wait

00:55to watch the recently-released Toy Story 4.

01:04Eh, sort of.

01:05The platform also features a library of some,

01:07but not all, the Marvel movies at launch,

01:09including 2015's Ant-Man,

01:11a superhero film that's fun for the whole family.

01:17As far as new originals go,

01:19the gritty-looking Star Wars spin-off series,

01:21The Mandalorian, is a must-watch for fans

01:23of a galaxy far, far away.

01:32Looking at other films available on the service,

01:33nothing says wholesome Disney fantasy

01:35like Julie Andrews in 1964's Mary Poppins.

01:43And even if you haven't watched an episode

01:45of The Simpsons in years,

01:46you can now binge the series on Disney+.
