'Fruits of Thy Labor' marks a reunion for the 'Broken Hearts Club' duo.

00:00Billy Porter is teaming up with super producer Greg Berlanti for his next TV venture.
00:06The history-making Pose Emmy winner is taking on Fruits of Thy Labor,
00:10a drama series in development at Peacock as a writer and producer.
00:13Based on an original idea, Porter along with Dan McCabe will co-write the script for the family drama
00:18that follows three generations of an African-American showbiz dynasty
00:22navigating their way through life, love, politics and career.
00:26The series will be executive produced by Warner Bros. TV-based Berlanti Productions
00:30and Fruits of Thy Labor also marks a reunion for Porter with Berlanti.
00:35Porter was among the all-star cast in 2000's The Broken Hearts Club,
00:38which Berlanti wrote and directed as his feature film debut.
00:42News of the Peacock Project comes as Pose will wrap its three-season run Sunday
00:46with an extended series finale on FX.
00:49The series helped catapult Porter to international stardom,
00:52with a veteran stage and screen actor becoming the first openly gay man
00:56to win an Emmy for a lead actor in a drama series.
