00:00Yeah, yeah, yeah.
00:00It's been like, tell me, you know, that obligatory question of like,
00:03tell me what the movie's about that has not happened.
00:05There were big guys outside basically telling them not to.
00:08Yeah.
00:08Yeah, no, it's great.
00:09So I would say, no, my answer is if someone asked what's the movie about, I'd go.
00:13Talking to the wrong guy.
00:14Yeah.
00:15I don't know.
00:15Dead man waking up.
00:16Yeah.
00:19Someone at last has got it.
00:21There's a dead guy and he's waking up.
00:22I am going to ask you, Daniel, how would you describe the vibe on this production?
00:35Like, I feel like if every movie has sort of a personality, what would this version,
00:40what would this additions be versus the first two?
00:43What?
00:45Because of you?
00:47Yes.
00:48Mainly because of me.
00:50Yes.
00:50Mainly because of me.
00:52Um, each one's different, a whole bunch of different circumstances where we're filming,
00:57all of those things.
00:58But, um, each and every one of these people hit the ground running, um, and came in bringing
01:04just superb, wonderful stuff.
01:06And, and so, you know, I'm like, I'm nervous on the first stage.
01:10Don't look at me like that.
01:11It's really weird.
01:13You're really looking weird.
01:15That's weird.
01:17That is a bit weird.
01:18You're right.
01:18You're just telling your back.
01:19You're nervous because you're, is everyone looking to you to be the other?
01:22You're the expert on the one?
01:24On, on this one?
01:24I, no, I don't, I think, no, because it's just like, we're all, we know what we're doing,
01:28but I think everybody's coming in wondering, well, how's the tone?
01:30Well, how's it feel?
01:31What's going on?
01:32And, and I'm nervous because I'm thinking, well, I want, I want everybody to be comfortable.
01:37I want everybody to feel like they can have fun.
01:40But, you know, look at them.
01:42He's, he's an unbelievable company leader.
01:44He really is.
01:45It has to be said.
01:45He doesn't like this, but he really is.
01:47He's a, he's a great company leader.
01:49What's something that was surprising to you about the way he was a good company leader?
01:53Something he did.
01:54You sort of, it's a comedy, you know, and you need, you need a relaxed atmosphere.
01:57So, um, you need to do the massage.
02:00You need to do the massage.
02:00And the spa treatments.
02:02The spa treatments.
02:02Particularly good, right?
02:03Yeah.
02:03They're really good.
02:04And the little robes you wore.
02:06Oh, dear.
02:07Hot towel.
02:08Every morning hotel.
02:09Hot towel.
02:09Yeah.
02:09Hot towel.
02:10Did anyone, obviously, like when you get asked to be in a knives out mystery, since we're
02:16still using that, um, does, is it an automatic yes?
02:20Or did anyone actually have any questions?
02:22It was a fight to get Mila.
02:24Yes.
02:24I'm going to say that.
02:25He's saying this because I said yes without knowing what it was about.
02:28You could have read the script.
02:29I said, I don't care.
02:29I'll do it.
02:30So, yes, for me, it was a, of course, didn't know anything about it.
02:34And then Ryan went, I think you should read it.
02:36And I went, okay.
02:37Does anyone share anything in common with their characters that we might not?
02:43Obviously, none of you share professions with.
02:45Ooh, I hope not.
02:46Andrew's plaid, I'd say.
02:47Yeah.
02:48I like a plaid.
02:48He's a fan of a lot of things.
02:50Andrew's a fan of a lot of things.
02:51A plaid.
02:51He is, yeah.
02:52He's a fan of a lot of things.
02:53Yes, he is.
02:54You know, he really relates to his character.
02:56I'm a big fan of your hair.
03:00Your character being the, I believe you're the, he's the author.
03:04You're an author.
03:04Yes, yes.
03:05Best-selling author.
03:05He's a fanatic.
03:06I don't know if you know this.
03:07His character's a fanatic.
03:08Yeah.
03:10Jeremy, why do you say God?
03:11I hope not.
03:13Well, it's a pretty, I play a pretty sad guy.
03:16Sad guy.
03:17He's a sad guy.
03:18He's a pretty sad dad.
03:19And so I'm glad I'm not that guy.
03:21Did you, I'm sure everyone's asked you this, but like, I'm curious if when you saw, did
03:26you have to give permission for your face in Glass Onion on the hot sauce?
03:29Oh, yeah, yeah.
03:30They called that.
03:31That's somebody, someone called you.
03:32Yeah, yeah.
03:33Oh, good.
03:33Yeah, yeah, yeah.
03:34They called, and they told me a whole bout.
03:36I'm like, oh, that's a great idea, because I'm such a big hot sauce guy anyway.
03:39And then they actually talked about, next week's where they wanted to, let me do a little
03:42documentary, actually make a little small batch of your own.
03:44And I'm like, dude, I'd love to.
03:46I didn't have time to actually make my own hot sauce, but I thought it was such a really
03:49cool kind of thing.
03:51So, and then now to be in the next one is kind of a cool.
03:55So it isn't, that just was happenstance?
03:58It was just random.
03:59It's a funny bit.
04:00It's a funny bit.
04:01If they had said, can we use your face, you could have been like, if you put me in the
04:03third one.
04:05No, I didn't, I didn't, I didn't know I could do that.
04:11For the next time.
04:12Did anyone do anything on this production that they've never done before in making a
04:18movie?
04:19I mean, team acting, I think.
04:22I've never done that.
04:23Yeah.
04:24That was all brand new to me.
04:25I learned how to play a cello.
04:27You did?
04:29Was it hard?
04:30Yeah.
04:31It was hard, but I think I did it.
04:35You crushed it.
04:36You crushed it, yes.
04:37I know on the last film, the big talk was that everyone was doing murder mystery.
04:43Were they board games or was it like werewolf?
04:46We were playing Mafia.
04:47Mafia.
04:47Oh, Mafia.
04:48But we were locked in a hotel with COVID, so we didn't have anywhere to go.
04:53I hate games, so I mean, you know.
04:55No, where there were no.
04:57All games?
04:58Mainly, yeah.
04:59Oh.
04:59Anything.
05:00I mean, this.
05:00Just all things fun?
05:01I mean, we talk about, you know, kind of an ensemble.
05:04I just wanted to get it out there, because it's just, I'm sick of this, you know.
05:13No card games?
05:15Actually, it's not your Uno.
05:17I love Uno.
05:18Yeah.
05:18Okay.
05:19Oh my God, don't take anything Daniel says seriously.
05:21Like, that's the lesson in all of this.
05:23Like, he was stuck with us, and he played plenty of games.
05:28There's a bit of backgammon.
05:29Josh brought the backgammon.
05:30No, Glenn brought it.
05:31It was Glenn who brought the backgammon.
05:33Yeah, we played a bit of that.
05:34No, there was, a lot of things happened.
05:37Josh O'Connor was showing as a character for quite a while.
05:40Was he?
05:41Yeah, he had the same character.
05:42And he just showed it.
05:44Yeah.
05:44And then there was jokes.
05:46It was like, who can tell the funniest jokes?
05:49That was a run for a minute.
05:50Those were really bad.
05:51Who could tell the funniest jokes?
05:53But they're all dad jokes.
05:53It was like the worst of the best jokes.
05:56It was like bad jokes, but who can tell like the worst bad joke?
05:58Okay.
05:59But there were no board games as far as like Monopoly.
06:02But backgammon was played.
06:03There wasn't.
06:04I mean, the point about on the previous one is that we, like I said, we were stuck in a hotel in COVID.
06:08So in the evenings, that's where we played the games.
06:10But we're on set.
06:11At some point, someone's going to get called to the set.
06:13So there was no real time for that.
06:15Yeah, yeah.
06:15We just hung out with each other and played the game of life.
06:19Oh, God.
06:20It was very incredibly fun.
06:22Was anyone nervous to meet anyone else before day one?
06:29Andrew, because I've never worked with him before.
06:31Yes.
06:32Thank you, Daniel.
06:35I was exactly, I was so excited because I'd never come across you before.
06:39So, so.
06:39So excited.
06:40To see you.
06:41So surprised.
06:41I didn't know anything about what you've done.
06:43Yeah.
06:43Amazing.
06:43Likewise.
06:44And you're really good.
06:45Daniel just did an interview where he forgot that he, we worked together.
06:51So touching to me.
06:52Thank you for giving us some of that context.
06:53And Andrew just did an interview where he was Adam.
06:55Exactly.
06:56Yeah, Adam.
06:57Adam who?
06:58Did you say, did you interrupt him and say like, wait, we actually did work together?
07:01He wasn't there.
07:01No, I wasn't even there.
07:02But I was very keen to tell him that I'd done that.
07:04He did.
07:05He was like, yeah!
07:06Fuck me, he just forgot about you.
07:07We worked together.
07:08It didn't you?
07:10Okay, what was anyone, does anyone have a really good first splurge that they gave themselves?
07:15On like first job, first anything, like what did you?
07:19You mean like a gift you bought for yourself?
07:20A gift you got for yourself, yeah.
07:22Sheets.
07:24Sheets.
07:24Oh, wow.
07:25Good sheets.
07:25A pillow.
07:26Good sheets.
07:26I don't know if you've got sheets and a good mattress.
07:29Yeah, yeah, like good bedding.
07:31Yeah, yeah, when I got money, I got good bedding.
07:33You spend a third of my life in bed, I'm going to...
07:34That's a difference.
07:35Yeah, yeah.
07:36As an actor, never going to get up in the morning.
07:38Yeah, still.
07:39Okay, that's a really good one.
07:41Is there anyone else?
07:42I bought a car.
07:44Oh, wow.
07:44You went straight to the car.
07:46Well, I was 16.
07:47I needed a car.
07:48You know what I mean?
07:48I bought a car.
07:49Yeah, okay.
07:49Yeah.
07:50Yeah, but you've been working since you were...
07:52How old have you started working?
07:54Nine.
07:55Yeah, child actor.
07:56And then family doesn't matter.
07:57She actually, she bought the car when she was nine.
07:59She bought the car when she was nine and waited until I was 16.
08:02Yeah, I was 16.
08:03I'm in my Ford Explorer.
08:04Anyone else?
08:04Oh, that's so cute.
08:06Does anyone have a TV show or movie that you...
08:11Like, a really classic one that you haven't seen?
08:14A classic one that you haven't seen?
08:15That you've either pretended to have seen or is, like, nagging you.
08:19I will tell you this.
08:19I'm queen of pretending to have seen a lot of things.
08:23But so much so that I've now convinced myself that I've seen those movies,
08:26and sometimes I don't even know the truth.
08:28I'm like, I think I've seen that movie.
08:30No, I've just lied for 30 years about seeing that movie.
08:33And now I no longer know if I've actually seen it or not.
08:36And one of them, my husband and I both found out, we both lied.
08:39And so we were like, oh, we should...
08:40And it was Braveheart.
08:41And I lied for...
08:42When was Braveheart?
08:44I'm sorry.
08:44I'm just being honest.
08:45How have you not seen that?
08:46I have seen it now.
08:47So we both sat down.
08:48I've seen it like a hundred times.
08:49I didn't, but I'm being honest.
08:51And I sat down and I watched it.
08:52I like you.
08:53And so now I've seen Braveheart.
08:55Good for you.
08:56That was a good story.
08:57That was...
08:58Not everybody has like a conclusion.
09:00People lie about it.
09:01Well, and yours had a conclusion.
09:02Like you did something about it.
09:03Oh, I decided I was going to make an effort to go, have I or have I not?
09:06And then if I'm not certain, I will sit down and watch it now.
09:08Wonderful.
09:09Yeah.
09:10And what is the most extreme location in which you've made a movie or TV show?
09:17I mean, I think...
09:19Iraq.
09:20Oh, you win.
09:21Yeah.
09:21Yeah.
09:22That's quite extreme.
09:23Good answer.
09:24Okay.
09:25Yeah.
09:25That's solid.
09:26I'm assuming we know which one that is.
09:29Were there multiple?
09:30Yeah.
09:31That was definitely...
09:32Family doesn't matter.
09:36This joke is...
09:38Okay.
09:40We're getting loopy.
09:41Last chance.
09:42Anyone else is good?
09:44Extreme.
09:44Fiji.
09:45I shot in Fiji.
09:46Well, that's not...
09:47Well, extremely nice.
09:48Well, yeah.
09:49Extremely nice.
09:51Yeah.
09:52All right, guys.
09:52All right.
09:52All right.
09:53I'm just trying to play along.
09:55Iceland.
09:56No, but I've been to Iceland.
09:58I love Iceland.
09:59That's good.
09:59Oh, my God.
10:00Iceland, I think, is one of my favorite places in the world.
10:01Yeah, it's pretty real.
10:02Having that shot there, but love Iceland.
10:04What did you make in Iceland?
10:06A little movie.
10:07Show off.
10:07What was the movie?
10:08A little trip to heaven.
10:10Small movie.
10:10A little movie.
10:11Called?
10:12I think it's a little trip to heaven.
10:13I don't remember.
10:14It's a long time ago.
10:16I'm going to Google that, and we're going to slap that in post.
10:18Yeah.
10:19Just have him say,
10:19A little trip to heaven.
10:20Yeah.
10:21Okay, well, we're out of time, and I appreciate your time.
10:25That's not true.
10:25Don't be lying.
10:26This is my first interview.
10:27Say that again to me.
10:29I'm sorry.
10:29Go on, try.
10:30I apologize.
10:30I really appreciate your time.
10:32You can make it.
10:32You can.
