00:07While talking on his podcast, Life is Short with Justin Long, the two revealed they've actually been engaged since January.
00:13He said the proposal came about in an organic way when the two were going through a real-life change.
00:19It was during a therapy session Justin and Kate said they were advised to make sure they're always telling each other what they need.
00:25And when Kate asked Justin the question, he responded, to spend my life with you.
00:31Kate added, I smiled and said, you have that. Oh my gosh, you have that.
00:35And he said, no, I mean, I really want to spend my life with you.
00:39She thought it was the most romantic and honest and loving proposal.
00:42Justin added that the words came out so naturally during the conversation.
00:45Engagement rumors began when Kate was spotted wearing a massive diamond ring on that finger at the Vanity Fair Oscars party and People Mag later confirmed the news.
